Fuzhou comes to Westfield

Tourism Administration, Wei Pan, announced the opening of the event. Deputy mayor of Fuzhou Municipal People’s Government, Ye Chen, and Thomas Chan DL (Representative Deputy Lieutenant for the London Borough of Redbridge) then cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony. Of the various Chinese traditional performances in this Roadshow, such as Zheng ,LiuYang River, Erhu, calligraphy, and painting - tea art proved the most attractive demonstration. The Union Times interviewed Ye Chen, who discussed Fuzhou's two thousand year historical heritage. Being one of the National cities with profound cultural background, Fuzhou radiates unique charm due to a graceful natural environment and rich hot spring resources. At present, economic development of Fuzhou is booming with a bright and prosperous future. It is therefore the ideal moment to promote tourism of the city. There are currently three European campaigns —Finland, Denmark and the United Kingdom. The purpose of these events is to introduce and promote Fuzhou travel products in the European market and create a tourism brand called The Capital of Hot Spring.
