Born in Chembur, Saahil went to a boarding school in Panchgani called St. Peter's Boys School, where he lived away from the city under strict rules. After school he decided to go to Sheffield Hallam University for further studies, That is where his passion for music took over and he became the resident Dj for his University. His passion followed him into London where he took up residency at one of the best Asian clubs (Mangos) in London. After having played at various clubs and events all over Europe, Saahil came back to Mumbai and did a three month acting course at Actor Prepares. Wanting to learn more about the Indian Film Industry he then joined Vipul Shah as his assistant for the film Namastey London. Soon after that he decided to start writing his dance film Mad About Dance which he also directed and acted in as the male lead opposite Amrit Maghera. He also plays the lead opposite Sunny Leone in Balaji’s Ragini MMS 2 .
