Well, the weather as you can see in my video wasn't that good in Lisbon.
We took off at 10AM, the flight was about 8hours and 40 minutes.
The crew was friendly, attentive and in a good mood!
After take-off to my surprise there was no appetizer served, they delivered the meal right away. It was really tasty, I was a bit surprised because it looked like dog food ;)
The flight itself was uneventful, a bit of turbulence in between but nothing spectacular happend.
Very good weather was awaiting us in Miami, sunshine and about 30 degrees centigrade.

In a surprise move, Portugal's Finance Minister, Vitor Gaspar, has resigned.
The architect of the country's austerity plans, under a 78-billion-euro EU and International Monetary Fund bailout, he has been blamed by the Portuguese people for the devastating effect on the country's economy.
His departure is not expected to mean an easing of the austerity.
His replacement is the Treasury Secretary Maria Luis Albuquerque, who also backs the government spending cuts and Lisbon has to continue with them to keep getting bailout money.
Under Gaspar's policies, Portugal is in its third year of recession with unemployment at record highs following the biggest tax hike in living memory, which was aimed at raising revenues to plug the budget deficit
The problem is the deficit is not coming down fast enough. The target this year is for it to fall to 5.5 percent of GDP, but in the first quarter it was 10.6 percent.
At the last review by its international lenders, Portugal did win an easing of tough budget goals and Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho has suggested he may request a fresh relaxation for next year if the economic outlook worsens.

http://www.euronews.com/ Protests against austerity measures and high unemployment were held in several European capitals on Saturday.
In Madrid around 7,000 people took to the streets, a relatively modest number compared to previous rallies. The target of protesters' anger was the same, as some illustrated with masks depicting the European Commission president and others.
The demonstrators condemned international lenders for the harsh measures imposed on struggling nations.
The Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy said on Saturday that he expected new jobless figures due out next week to be encouraging.
People demonstrating in Madrid were less optimistic: "People are being evicted from their homes, and we have the highest jobless rate in Europe," said Sarah, a 57-year-old who has been out of work for two years. "The government's labour reforms make it easier to sack people at no cost, instead of encouraging job creation."
In Portugal thousands marched in Lisbon and other cities against the "troika": the IMF, the European Commission and Central Bank.
The protesters also turned on their own centre-right government. Tax rises and spending cuts have been imposed to meet bailout terms.
"We want the government out and our president is the one to blame. He should sack them because they are doing a bad job, spending our money, they are leading us to misery," said Conceicao, a pensioner.
The Portuguese government has played down an OECD forecast that the country is unlikely to meet its deficit goals because of the recession.
More anti-austerity protests are planned in Portugal this month.

Worries about the stability of the Espirito Santo business empire have forced Portugal's government and central bank to issue assurances that the country's financial system is not at risk.
Concerns were triggered by irregularities at a web of family-run holding companies behind Portugal's largest listed bank, Banco Espirito Santo.
There are fears about potentially destabilising losses at the bank and other companies linked to the family.

http://www.euronews.com/ Portuguese unemployment has risen again in the first quarter to 17.7 percent.
The new record is bad enough, but pity the young in the jobs market - 42 percent of them are out of work.
The government is expecting unemployment to peak next year at 18.5 percent as the country struggles with its worst recession in over 30 years.
More than 130,000 extra people have swelled the jobless list in the last 12 months. Over 950,000 people are now looking for work on the Portuguese market out of a total workforce of 5.4 million.
The government has repeatedly revised its unemployment estimates upwards since Portugal resorted to an EU/IMF bailout in 2011, and there are fears these latest figures also underestimate the situation. Many young people are escaping the unemployment trap by fleeing to Brazil, Angola or Mozambique, and snubbing favoured former European destinations like France, which have problems of their own.
Bad as this is, the unemployment situation in Greece is much, much worse.
Half of all young people there were out of work all last year, but now the jobless rate for the 15 to 24 yr-old age group is over 64 percent. This is unprecedented, and with an overall rate of 27 percent the number of people dragged into poverty has tripled since Greece's economic crisis broke in 2009.
It shows that a 32 percent cut in the minimum wage for the young has done nothing to encourage employers to hire young people. Many are heading, along with Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Italian and Spanish workers, to Germany, tired of waiting for six years of recession to end.

A political crisis has been averted in Lisbon with the result that Portugal is back on track to meet the terms of the international bailout that saved the country from going bankrupt.
President Anibal Cavaco Silva has decided not to call for early elections which means the centre-right coalition government will remain in place until the end of its term.
So no more political uncertainty - for now - and Portugal's Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho has vowed to stick to the country's bailout programme. "We will rebuild the confidence without raising any doubts about the process we are carrying out, saying 'yes, we want to complete the assistance programme on the agreed date'," he said.
That calmed nerves in the financial markets. Rui Barbara, a broker at Carregosa Bank, monitored marekt reaction: "Mainly positive it's the main equity indexes going up and the yields on the Portuguese bonds are, well, stabilising. The government will continue at least until the new elections that are two years from now, and they are compromised with the troika and the measures that were agreed so I think everything goes back to what it was one month ago."
The coalition nearly split three weeks ago when the leader of the junior party threatened to resign in an ongoing row over austerity.
The problem is the crisis is cooled but not cured; tensions remain within the coalition and Portugal may yet need a second bailout.
On the face of it, one might construe this (decision) to be a positive in so much as it is seen reducing the risk of a reform hiatus," analysts at Rabobank wrote in a research note.

The deepening political crisis in Portugal slammed the country's financial markets on Wednesday.
At one stage the main stock market index was down six percent, with banks again losing the most value.
After the coalition started to fall apart on Tuesday, shares fell more than one percent in 15 minutes just as trading was ending.
Worries about the continued viability of the country's bailout plan meant the amount of interest Lisbon is having to offer to borrow money also shot up.
Joao Queiroz, a trader with GoBulling.com in Lisbon, said: "Given what's happened in the last 48 hours, the majority of investors are attributing a greater risk premium to financial assets issued in Portugal, particularly fixed income bonds, so the interest on bonds due to mature in ten years time rose from close to six percent which is where it was two weeks ago, and now they are trading at around eight percent."
There was a sell-off of shares around Europe on fears of a new flare up in the eurozone's debt crisis. Investors were particularly shy of banks and insurance companies.

http://www.euronews.com/ There has been a mixed report on Portugal's economic reforms from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.
It called them "ambitious and courageous" but said Lisbon must recalibrate the country's pension entitlement and scrap early retirement if it is to really make progress.
Euronews' Paris correspondent Giovanni Magi reported there was some good news in a study that the Lisbon government had asked the OECD to draw up: "The OECD is encouraging Portugal to keep going with reforms, and is even optimistic. That is optimism that is really needed by Portugal's people, as the crisis hits them hard."
On May 3, Portugal's Prime Minister Pedro Passos Coelho announced a series of new austerity measures, in order to meet the demands of international creditors who are loaning Lisbon money so the country does not go bankrupt.
After the OECD report was presented Passos Coelho said: "The latest programme we announced and that we're discussing with our social partners is not an austerity programme. It has consequences only for government workers."
The OECD warned Portugal's rapidly ageing population is jeopardising its efforts to return the economy to financial health.
The problem with the pension reforms is that they threaten to tear apart the country's coalition government and will likely be challenged in the courts.
The successive austerity measures adopted so far have plunged the Portuguese economy into recession and pushed unemployment to record levels at 17.7 percent.
The Bank of Portugal has forecast that GDP will shrink by 2.3 percent this year because of a sharp drop in domestic demand and a slowdown in exports.
