Costa Rica Travel Guide 2016, Tourism and Vacations Costa Rica 2016 - Costa Rica Trip 2016

Costa Rica is a small country in Central America bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east.
See in Costa Rica
================
Wildlife - Costa Rica is world famous for having an incredibly high level of biodiversity throughout its tropical forests (this covers what you may hear referred to as rain forests, cloud forests, and dry forests). There are tropical mammals such as monkeys, sloths, tapirs, and wild cats as well as an amazing assortment of insects and other animals. There are many many birds (both migratory and resident) - more on that below. With 25% of the country being national parks and protected areas, there are still many places you can go to see the abundant wildlife and lush vegetation of the country. Just like anywhere, the farther you get off the beaten path, the more likely you are to see a wide variety of flora and fauna.
========
Bird Watching - One of the most wonderful activities for people who love nature is bird watching. You can enjoy bird watching in many areas of Costa Rica. Due to the great diversity of climates, temperatures and forest types in Costa Rica, there is a wonderful variety of birds, with over 800 species. Some helpful books available on bird watching are Birds of Costa Rica by F. Gary Stiles and Alexander Skutch (Cornell University Press) or An Illustrated Field Guide to Birds of Costa Rica, illustrated by Victor Esquivel Soto. These books can be found at certain bookstores in San José or before coming to Costa Rica. They are both heavy books; many people tear out the plates of the Stiles & Skutch book to carry into the field and leave the rest of the book in their car or room. Plastic cards with the most common birds are available for many areas and are sold at gift shops.
Volcanoes -Costa Rica is one of the most seismologicly active countries in the western hemisphere, and as a result several volcanoes have sprouted over the years- most notably volcanoes Poas, Irazu, and Arenal.
Beaches in Costa Rica
============
Costa Rica is a country with an extraordinary wealth of things to do, but regardless of your travel interests, you're going to want to spend time at one of the country's great beaches. The lion's share of beach tourism is concentrated on the Pacific side, in the Central Pacific region near San José, the Nicoya Peninsula, and in the dry tropical forests of Guanacaste. Less touristed, but no less beautiful are the beaches in the tropical rainforest of the southern Pacific coast near Corcovado National Park, or on the exotic, rastafarian, eco-tourism paradise of the Caribbean side.
Fishing
========
Costa Rica has some of the best Sport Fishing in the world and is the first country to practice catch and release fishing. The Pacific side has incredible fishing for Sailfish, Marlin, Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Snapper, Grouper and more. The Caribbean side is famous for big Tarpon and big Snook. Over sixty-four world records have been caught in Costa Rica. Half day, Full day and Multi-Day Trips are available.

Travel video about destination Myanmar.
Myanmar is a land of golden pagodas in which rivers, paddy fields and Buddhism dominate the lives of this country’s people who are made up of a variety of ethnic groups. But behind the bamboo curtain is a sleepy fairy tale land.Yangon is a river city and the capital of Myanmar. It is surrounded by India, China, Laos and Thailand. Few cities in Asia boast such a fascinating mêlée of tribes and cultures. A tranquil harmony of churches, pagodas, Hindu temples and mosques. The Chaukhtatkyi Pagoda contains one of the largest prone Buddha statues in the world. Its length makes up for its lack of artistry as it is seventy metres long! The Shan State Express is a sonorous name for a unique train that travels to the north of Myanmar and to the legendary kingdom of the Shan. The railroad travels in a zigzag up the mountains which enables it to negotiate severe slopes that would otherwise be impossible for it to climb vertically. It provides a fascinating insight into the culture and everyday life of the Shan people. The city of Pyin U Lwin, that is also known as Meymo, was once a British military base. Even today the city still has a certain air of nostalgia and passengers are offered various refreshments as the train journey normally takes more than twelve hours. Ox carts transport visitors to one of the most interesting buildings in Mingun, the Mingun Pagoda. It was designed to be the world’s largest pagoda. Huge numbers of workers built this seventy two metre wide and fifty metre high building. Bagan is the country’s ancient capital city. Prior to visiting the largest area of Buddhist ruins in the world visitors can enjoy both traditional puppet shows and dance. Classical myth and legend make up this theatrical treat of which each puppeteer is responsible for up to sixty strings. Any journey through Myanmar is a journey into the past and to a hidden world of dreams and mystique. This gateway to paradise is slowly opening up and revealing a splendid land of bygone times!

(NECN: Brian Burnell, Bloomfield, Conn.) - Navy Lieutenant Brad Snyder lost his sight to an IED explosion in Afghanistan in 2011.
Far from letting that stop him, Lt. Snyder won Paralympic Gold at the London games last summer. But first rehab and then training left little time for him to look into getting a guide dog.
The Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation in Bloomfield, Conn. contacted Brad and offered to help.
So on Wednesday, he tried out a couple of dogs as they try him out. He walked with 65-pound female Gizzy, and 85-pound male Houston.
"Gizzy's a little bit more delicate with her movements, a little bit more decisive and doesn't pull quite as hard. And Houston's a big boy and he likes to get where he's going quickly so there's a big difference there."
Fidelco CEO Elliot Russman says this is about starting a relationship that will last at least 10 years.
"It's bonding, it's mutual respect and admiration and, most importantly for Brad, it's trusting the dog because the dog is going to be his eyesight and keep him safe," Russman says.
There is no question his guide dog will make a huge difference in Brad's already amazingly successful life. He travels a lot and needs help at every airport to get from the plane, through the terminal, to the taxi, into the hotel. A guide dog by his side, he says, "Allows me to take the train autonomously. Allows me to take planes and be a little bit more impulsive with my travel plans and makes me feel that I'm doing it myself as opposed to always having to be guided from spot to spot and that's huge to me."
He will also get a big chunk of his life back with the time he will save.
Russman did the math.
"It takes him 45-minutes now to walk from his home to the pool so he can train for the Rio Olympics because he's using the white cane, a slow and tedious process. With a guide dog they've already paced it out at 12 minutes," he says.
It's not really a question of Brad choosing the dog. It's a question of Fidelco choosing the right dog for Brad.
Once that decision is made, a trainer will join Brad and his new partner in his home in Baltimore and work with them for about three weeks to help smooth the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

◢ Take a trip into the astral planes with this relaxing new music track. The first part contains binaural beat frequencies and isochronic tones that range in Theta waves associated with deep relaxation, meditation and creativity, astral projection and tapping your subconscious. In this first couple of hours, you should try doing astral projection methods to further assist your chances of acquiring an out of body experience. A link on how to do an astral projection can be found below.
◢ Find us on iTunes http://radi.al/BrainwavePowerMusic and Google Play http://radi.al/43qp
For the second part of this track, we have formulated another set of frequencies dedicated for a deep, sound sleep and relaxation. Both parts contain the frequency of the Sun, 136.1Hz, which resonates the feelings of calmness, meditative, and centering. It is also connected to the Heart chakra to give you a sense of balance and harmony with the cosmos. As you finish your astral travels, you will find yourself falling into deep sleep and waking up feeling refreshed and energized.
One tip on how to do an astral projection is to repeat this phrase, "Mind awake, Body asleep." Let your body fall into slumber. It will feel numb and heavy at the same time. Do not be afraid of strange new sensations. For more tips on astral projection, read our blog:

Green Beret and Army veteran Ray Knell was a broken man with PTSD and severe anxiety when he returned home from Afghanistan. His trust in humans was gone. A friend introduced him to backcountry horsemanship, and the wilderness and animal relationship gave him hope and peace of mind. To inspire others to use wilderness and horses to overcome their struggles, Knell embarked on a 1,000-mile ride along the Continental Divide with Mustang Sally and two mules, Top Gun and Magic. Filmmaker Ben Masters joined Knell through Yellowstone to see the grandeur of our country’s first national park and to witness the importance of conserving wilderness to heal ourselves.

Latvia Adventure Travel: If you're yearning to hit Europe's untrodden jackpot, cash in your chips in Latvia (Latvija). Still undiscovered by the tourism masses, this sizzling Baltic sexpot is poised to become the continent's next A-list star. A country in transition, hellbent on shedding its stalwart old-Soviet image, the Latvia of today is vibrant, enigmatic and altogether mesmerising. Refreshingly unpretentious, Latvia manages to tantalise even the most jaded traveller. Many arrive expecting little and leave overwhelmed, certain they've uncovered long-buried treasure.
Latvian amber was known in places as far away as Ancient Greece and the Roman Empire. In the 12th century, German traders arrived, bringing with them missionaries who attempted to convert the pagan Finno-Ugric and Baltic tribes to the Christian faith. The Germans founded Rīga in 1201, establishing it as the largest and most powerful city on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea. After independence in 1918, Latvia achieved considerable results in social development, economy, industry and agriculture. It has always been a multicultural melting point, where foreigners and locals worked together and brought prosperity to the country. On June 16, 1940, Vyacheslav Molotov presented the Latvian representative in Moscow with an ultimatum accusing Latvia of violations of that pact, and on June 17 Soviet forces occupied the country. Elections for a "People's Saeima" were held, and a puppet government headed by Augusts Kirhenšteins led Latvia into the USSR. The annexation was formalized on August 5, 1940. During the time of the Iron Curtain, Latvia was a province of the Soviet Union, but the concentration of heavy industry was enormous. Contacts with the West were regulated. The Baltic region had the reputation of being the most urbanized and having the highest literacy rate in the Soviet Union. Latvia gained independence on September 6, 1991. Between 1991 and 2007 the country saw unprecedented economic growth. However, the global recession and the banking crisis hit Latvia brutally, and severe economic contraction and destructively high unemployment have returned.
Because of a tribal past and divisions between occupying nations, there are regional differences between parts of Latvia which are interesting to explore.

Going to Greece soon? These etiquette tips will come in handy during your visit.
There are some Greek etiquette and customs to keep in mind during your trip to Greece. When meeting people, shake everyone's hand including that of children. If the relationship is closer, a kiss on both cheeks is acceptable. It is common to ask personal questions about marriage, jobs, your mother even if the relationship is not that close. You will find Greeks standing closer to each other while talking than in some other countries. It is impolite to stare even if only briefly. Smoking is much more acceptable in Greece. Many establishments still allow smoking inside. Most Greeks love their frappes. You will see locals carrying this coffee drink everywhere, but they do like to sit at cafeteria and sit for hours with their friends. Greeks do not say sorry or thank you as much. It does not mean that we are rude. We just do not feel like it is needed in certain situations. Remember not to use this sign. It is the same as showing someone your finger. Although it may be considered innocent in places but in Greece it is very offensive.
When going someplace for dinner always remember to be 15 to 30 minutes late. Lunch and dinner start late, lunch at two and dinner after ten. If invited to someone's house for a meal, you should bring a small gift like flowers or wine. Gifts are opened when received, not later. Meals last for awhile. Greeks like to enjoy them. Expect long conversations. If you see the host and other engage in the famous Greek dance it is always appreciated if you join along. When eating in restaurants know that a majority of the staff does speak some English. Some restaurants have a nominal cover charge. You are charged that cover charge as soon as you sit at the table. A common toast when drinking is yamas which means to our health and when eating is stigeawsoo which means to your health. Remember at a restaurant the waiter will not come to you unless you call on them because they do not want to seem like rushing you. When tipping check to see if the service charge is already included. In that case leave some change for the waiter. If the service charge is not included, 10 to 15 percent is customary. Locals are not expected to tip taxi drivers but taxi drivers do expect some tip from tourists. I am Birgit showing you Athens.

If you just hit veteran rank 1 and are unsure of what to do next this video should give several ideas! When I finished out the main story I was not ready to get into more questing zones, the process was a bit stale. I pushed through and did the questing anyway because I hadn't seen this video! If I could do it over again here is what I would do to help alleviate the feeling of grinding as you finish you faction's zones and move on to Cadwell's silver and gold quests.

I am 100% (permanent and total) service disabled Veteran and I have a service dog that saved my life. I have PTSD, TBI, depression and anxiety. My life was going down the tubes until I found my K9 Onyx. She is a German Shepherd and she has been trained specifically for me and the symptoms that I have because of my injuries/disabilities.
This is our story told by myself and my wife, who has been through lot with me. I had no idea that a service dog could change my life the way she has and I would've never believed that a dog could cause me to get off all of my medications that were prescribed by the VA. My life is so much better now!
We recently sold everything we owned and moved aboard our boat with our kids. It was a decision that will benefit our family. I wanted to show other Veterans that it is possible to make progress with my own disabilities and live a happy life on our boat.

Miss Lone Star is (currently) a 37' Crusier's Yacht with five souls aboard. 2 parents, 2 kids (4 and 6) and one very large german shepherd service dog. We sold everything we owned in Austin, TX and set off from Kemah, TX. We made it to the Florida Keys (1300 miles). We are about to head off into the Caribbean.
We are selling our boat and we will get a sailboat so we can switch from power to sail ASAP. We plan to live this lifestyle for the next 10-20 years or maybe forever. We love cruising, scuba diving and living on the water. Please follow us, like and subscribe to our videos!

◢ Take a trip through the cosmos with this new lucid dreaming track. Using soundscapes of different atmospheric textures to help create your ideal space setting, this track also uses frequencies from the Theta Range that promotes fantasy, imagery, creativity, access to the subconsciousness, and also frequencies from the Alpha Range that promote relaxation, dream enhancers and sleep aids. It is a whole brain toner and we've embedded the 1.5Hz Abrahams Universal Healing Rate for those who wish to use this as a sleep accompaniment.

With Neptune's orbit frequency, this is associated with the imagination and spiritual love. Listen with or without headphones, as these include isochronic tones that don't necessarily require the use of earphones.

Mikel is a good friend and you should check him out. He has one of the most popular food blogs in Spain (http://blogs.elpais.com/el-comidista/) He is known as "El Comidista", or "The Foodist" in Spanish." His blog is not only incredibly delicious with THE best, simple recipes, but it is also incredibly insightful, witty and sometimes very political. Just this week he wrote about why your clothes smell like fried food after eating at certain places. In the past he has written about key basic ingredients you should have in your pantry to cook Chinese, or music you should listen to when cooking. His Spotify lists are a must (in a prior life he was a music country at El Pais).

BOSS BATTLES FOR VETERAN RANK 2!!! (Elder Scrolls Online Ranking up Funny Montage)

Well, it's come to this. Not leveling up in any specific thing, but leveling up in general, to the NEXT VETERAN RANK!!!! VETERAN RANK 2!!!! I have decided that the most MANLY way to rank up to Veteran Rank 2 would be to annihilate some of the petty bosses that think they are better than me! I must travel to Bangkorai, Auridon, Grahtwood, and Greenshade in order to fight monsters like non other. I must be an Assassin, I must be brave, and most importantly, I can never forget the power of Frog Races... oh, and Dancing, I can't forget about dancing either.

Set 1000 years before the events of Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, this untold chapter tells of a time of strife and chaos, when three alliances fought to control of the Imperial City.
Nine playable races make up the three alliances, each with its own unique story and goals. The Daggerfall Covenant is made up of the Bretons, Orcs and Reguards. The Aldmeri Dominion sees the High Elves align with the Wood Elves and Khajiit. The Ebonheart Pact brings together the unlikely union of The Nords, Dark Elves and the Argonians.
This is a new kind of MMO for a new generation; without game subscription, perfect for playing on consoles and PC thanks to concise and immersive controls, more like a traditional RPG. Familiar gameplay features from previous Elder Scrolls games return; like health, magic, and stamina bars, as well as slots for active skills.
Adventure into the world of Tamriel your way, as you craft, fish, explore and battle in the open world you will call home. Join an army of hundreds in epic player battles, or embark on long journeys alone or with friends, taking part in quests whilst discovering the secrets of Tamriel and saving the world from Oblivion.
