Named for good sailing winds, Buenos Aires is the capital of Argentina, and home to nearly a quarter of the country’s two million residents. Come for the stunning European architecture, and stay for delicious cuts of meat, the city’s zest for soccer, and, of course, the tango.
“The Paris of South America” boasts outstanding shopping and a friendly populace. A tour of Buenos Aires should cut through La Boca Harbor, where you’ll find numerous street vendors, restaurants, and street dancers willing to give you a spin. Wander down the streets to take in colorful artwork, and make a game out of asking the locals what neighborhood you should tour next. Here’s a hint: with so much to see, everyone will give you a different answer!
Some will tell you to visit San Telmo for souvenirs, patio shopping, and crumbling historical buildings. Others will suggest Puerto Madero, a refurbished shipping port that boasts a mixture of old-world glamour and modern buildings. What everyone will suggest, however, is a stop by Plaza de Mayo. There you can take in the rosy architecture of the Casa Rosada, which was made famous by Argentine First Lady Eva Peron and the musical about her life, “Evita.” Take a tour and learn about her life, from her humble beginnings to her rise to power.
Cap off your Buenos Aires sightseeing with an evening walk through Puerto Madero, where you can get a late dinner and dance until the next day arrives.

https://www.expedia.com/Manchester.d180010.Destination-Travel-Guides
Manchester is a city of firsts. It was the epicenter of the Industrial Revolution, the place where mankind first split the atom, and the birthplace of the modern computer.
The many chapters of Manchester’s story come together in Castlefield. Here you’ll find the remains of a Roman fort, Bridgewater Canal, and some of the mills which once generated incredible wealth for the city. In the background, Beetham Tower is a symbol of a city again on the rise.
Manchester’s crowning glory is its Town Hall, built to rival the great buildings of London. During the Industrial Revolution, Manchester’s merchants went on a spending spree, scouring the world in search of cultural treasures to fill their stately homes. Many of these treasures now reside in the Manchester Art Gallery and the Manchester Museum.
In 1653, the Chetham Library became the country’s first free public library and has been open to all ever since. Two hundred and fifty years later, one of the city’s greatest philanthropists, Enriqueta Rylands, unveiled the John Rylands Library, dedicated to the memory of her textile magnate husband.
Housed in a restored Edwardian pump house is The People’s History Museum, which celebrates those who challenged Britain’s rigid political and class systems. At the world’s oldest surviving railway station, you’ll find The Museum of Science and Industry, while the Imperial War Museum North reminds us of the human cost of warfare.
Explore the city’s musical heritage in the Northern Quarter, and check out Canal Street, which perfectly encapsulates the Mancunian ideals of tolerance and good times. Learn more about the city’s footballing history at the National Football Museum, or time your visit for a match at Old Trafford.

Welcome to Tokyo, the capital of Japan and the epitome of the word “megacity.”
In this vast metropolis, ancient traditions blend with futuristic buildings, and your Tokyo sightseeing will take you to representations of each. Pay your respects at temples set in forested hillsides, then flex your credit card in one of the shopping districts, before sitting down to a five-star meal…all in one day.
Your Tokyo tour begins with the subway and train system, which will take you all over this sprawling city. Tokyo is home to some 35 million people, many of which you’ll meet as its public transit carries you throughout its many neighborhoods. Make a stop in Asakusa, a temple district nestled in leafy trees with skyscrapers towering in the background. There you’ll visit Nakamisi Dori, a street loaded with food vendors and religious charms. Get to know the city a little better in the Harajuku district, home to cutting-edge fashion, a thriving, youth-centered culture, and the famous Yoyogi Park. The park stands out in stern contrast to the rest of the neighborhood; this sprawling, 134-acre green space is where locals slow down after a frenzied week of work and play.
As night falls, make your way to Shinjuku. Many of Tokyo’s premier restaurants and pubs span Shinjuku’s streets, and you can indulge in succulent 5-star meals or sample with fast food from local vendors. Watch a movie, do some karaoke, and linger with fellow travelers and friendly locals alike.

Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. The 42nd largest city proper in the United States, with a population of 408,568, it is the principal, central, and most populous city of the Miami metropolitan area, and the most populous metropolis in the Southeastern United States.
The most important places to visit in Miami are: Ocean Drive (the yearlong party atmosphere makes Ocean Drive the most exhilarating place in the United States), Art Deco Architecture (nowhere else in the world would you find such a concentration of colorful Art Deco style buildings), Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (a national historical landmark. It is a European style villa surrounded by lush gardens), Everglades (a unique natural environment. Get close and personal with alligators. Airboat rides are highly recommended), Beaches (some of the country's best beaches are here, and clearly the most fashionable) and many more.
If you want to save time and money, the most important Miami travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Paris is the capital and largest city of France. It is situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Ile-de-France region.
The most important places to visit in Paris are: Place de la Concorde (the largest square in Paris, it has a 3000 year old Egyptian obelisk and is particularly beautiful at night), Pompidou Center (a colorfully creative modern building housing a vast collection of modern art), Arc de Triomphe (built in the early 1800s by Napoleon, the Arc is a symbol of national pride. At the top, you'll find fantastic views of Paris), Versailles Palace (a royal château just outside of Paris has grand architecture, 700 rooms and beautiful gardens), Notre Dame (one of the most recognized symbols in the world and over 750 years old, Notre Dame has incredibly detailed Gothic architecture), Sacré-Coeur (this Byzantine style stunning light church, despised by intellectuals when it was built, is a must see for Paris visitors), Louvre Museum (perhaps the world's most famous museum, it hosts thousands of pieces of great art, including Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lise), Eiffel Tower (amongst the most recognizable and visited monuments in the world, everyone must experience the Eiffel Tower in their lifetime).

Berlin is the capital city of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany. Berlin is situated in northeastern Germany.
The most important places to visit in Berlin are: Checkpoint Charlie (its name was given for the Berlin Wall crossing point between East and West Berlin during the Cold War), Berlin city hall (built in Italian Renaissance style, its construction lasted from 1861 to 1869. Along with the State Government of Berlin it is also the office of the city's Governing Mayor), The Potsdam Castle (located about 15 miles outside of Berlin, the castle is a gorgeous masterpiece nestled amidst vineyards. This lovely structure is so exquisite that it is often regarded as the German equivalent of The Palace of Versailles), Reichstag (the seat of German Parliament. Built in 1894, it housed the Parliament of the German Empire and the Weimar Republic. In 1933, a suspicious fire in the Reichstag propelled the Nazi regime to power), The Holocaust Memorial (is a tribute to the millions of Jews killed by the Nazi government. It consists of 2007 stone slabs spread over an area the size of three soccer fields), Museum Island (located in the center of Berlin on the river Spree, it has many world-renowned museums. Due to the art and history that is preserved here, the island is a UNESCO Heritage Site), Brandenburg gate (completed in 1791, this gate is a symbol of Germany. After World War II, the gate was one of the 8 checkpoints between East and West Berlin), Berlin Cathedral (centuries old, this historic landmark has been treasured by all of Germany. Several grand domes adorn the top of the cathedral. Its striking beauty makes the trip worthwhile), Charlottenburg Palace (Berlin's largest royal summer palace. Constructed in the late 17th century. this large, ornate landmark houses a 200-year-old mausoleum that served as a royal burial ground) and many more.

http://tourvideos.com/ Travel Tips and personal background of Dennis Callan. Before going; During; After...
1) Techie Travel; 2) Getting the most out of your trip, 3) My favorite places; 4) comparing Europe and Hawaii: lifestyle; urban plans; infrastructure; 5) personal background of Dennis
Before Trip: Researching where to go. Web sites – Wikipedia; Wikitravel; YouTube; Google search; Google Earth, street view. Google maps for finding hotels in center. Trip Advisor, plus and minuses.
Get Most out of Trip: Immerse yourself by walking and talking.
Only way to see a place is spend time and walk in the center. Visit the historic sites; then take a stroll in main lanes. Do research to find out where to walk so you don’t get lost. E.g. my articles, free. Map it out before you go. These directions are basic to your trip, where to go, where not to go. Don’t waste time getting lost or choosing boring neighborhoods. Take a walking tour with a guide. Or find one of these free sites, locals connecting.
Great to chat with locals. How? Ask for directions or advice. Pick someone who is not in a rush. Smile and see who smiles back, than ask them a question. In a bar or café, be outgoing, don’t worry about the language. Amazing how many people speak English.
Restaurants tips: choosing (inspect by walking around inside, examine tables, food quality, how many not eating waiting for service-if too many, escape); ask waiter for favorites; ask for check during meal and pay early, then walk out when done.
my personal travel experiences,
favorite places, what I’ve learned.
Favorite country: Italy; City: London
Asia, wonderful but cannot come close to Europe for me – but it is all personal.
Europe: Why so fascinating? Describe the top cities.
Europe is way ahead of us in so many ways: enjoying holidays; leisure time; outdoor life, sidewalk cafes, evening stroll, pedestrian orientation.
Most towns have pedestrian zones which are the heart and soul of town and the best place for your explorations.
Europeans live in cities that are well-planned: apartments downtown, human scale, neighborhood feeling, effective mass transit. Mixed use: apartments; shops; work.
The Passegiatta: evening stroll, essential in southern Europe. Get out and walk, see people, have a drink, shop, have a chat. The good life.
When to go: off-season. Travel is getting crowded. It can be horrible in peak season. The same place will be perfect off-season, nightmare on-season. Chinese, Indians and always more Americans are coming, increasing crowds, getting very bad. You don’t want to wait on long lines or be turned away from restaurants. High season is too hot and crowded and expensive. Don’t do it.
Travel smart, study before, enjoy!
More Tech Tips:
Capturing web information for your devices (phone, tablet, laptop); save as web archive, Safari especially good browser for this capture. Saving as Web Page complete, in Firefox or Chrome, not as effective.
Need good app for transferring to mobile device, like Air Sharing, easy to set up folders and organize things. iTunes much less useful.
Scan in chapters from guidebooks, then transfer as pdf files to your device, leave the books home. You can organize chapters easily. Perhaps you can find books in the library for free. Useful to review the info night before or during meal breaks. Also for scanning maps.
use travel apps: there are 1,000s of them.
Or travel e-books like my Rome on Foot book.
Tech-stuff During trip:
Camera: While phones now shoot good photos and are usually available, it is better to use a real camera because you have more control and better quality. However, you must learn how to use your camera: e.g. force flash on; low-light shots are a challenge but give great results – hold it steady; use a camera with large sensor, sensitive to low light. Be active during twilight rather than crashing or eating. Bring plenty of SD cards, shoot at maximum res. Edit later when you get home.
Wifi: most hotels now offer it free. Sometimes an expensive hotel charges extra but offer it free in lobby. Great for Skype, so have an account, to call home. Also to post a few shots to your Facebook or other account.
Then put the tech aside and immerse yourself in the travel experience. E.g. don’t just look at everything through your camera – shoot fast, then use your eye and brain and emotions.
Write a diary – just a few lines every day to describe what you did, otherwise you are going to forget.
After trip: Organize your photos, upload, facebook, flickr, etc. Expand on your diary – write a journal to go with the photos to 1) share with friends, and 2) lock into your memory. The digital scrapbook. After coming home, read guidebooks again and watch my videos about where you just went, you appreciate watching and reading about a place more after a trip because you can visualize and relate to the locations.

8 Hours Relaxing Music | Deep Sleep Music: Delta Waves |. Use this spically created music during deep sleeping, insomnia. Also it is exellent as a background for Meditation, Yoga, Calm Massage, Pregnancy. Totaly relax your mind and body and heal your soul.
A delta wave is a high amplitude brain wave with a frequency of oscillation between 0–4 hertz. Delta waves, like other brain waves, are recorded with an electroencephalogram (EEG) and are usually associated with the deep stage 3 of NREM sleep, also known as slow-wave sleep (SWS), and aid in characterizing the depth of sleep.

Travel video about destination Cabo Verde.
Cape Verde is an exotic island world, an archipelago off the coast of West Africa it combines the flair of the Canaries with the charm of Africa. Explorers Christopher Columbus and Vasco Ad Gama lay anchor there in order to replenish supplies and repair their ships. It was not until 1445 that the fifteen islands were discovered and consequently became a Portuguese colony. We begin in the north east of the islands, in Sal. Crystal blue sea and endless sandy beaches, islands of both wind and sunshine with a volcanic lunar landscape twenty five kilometres long and twelve kilometres wide. Sal owes its name and colonization to its once most important export of salt which was to be found in huge quantities. Baia Da Fontana, close to Palmeira, appears like a shady oasis with various green trees that provide welcome shelter from the heat and in the background the dominant Monte Leste volcano where the slopes reach down to the shore and the splendid rock pools of Buracona. Mindelo, situated on the island São Vicente, is considered to be the cultural centre of the archipelago in which typical Creole art has been preserved. Sparse, raw and untamed it is dominated by powerful, almost mystical mountains. Santo Antão is an island of mountains, wind and water and the second largest island of Cape Verde. Its most important route is a road over the high mountains. The views of the Paúl Valley take the breath away. A fairytale world of stone which looks truly surreal. Against the background of the scenery, clouds entangle themselves within the mountains and provide life-giving moisture. Each island is unique and possesses its own special charm. Cabo Verde - islands full of light and joie de vivre!

Things to do in China Travel Guide: Guangxi Province (Guilin, Yangshuo, Li River, Rice Terraces) playlist:
1) A tour of Yangshuo night life including visiting a night market and eating Chinese street food (阳朔夜市和街头食品) China
2) Red Yao Hill Tribe Long Hair Performance at Lonji Longsheng Rice Terrace in Guilin, China (瑤族 - 瑶族) (龙胜梯田 - 龍勝梯田)
3) Li River Bamboo Boat Cruise down the Li River from Guilin to Yangshuo, China (Lijiang: 从桂林到阳朔漓江竹游船)
4) Hiking up Longsheng Rice Terraces (Longji Dragon's Backbone) in Guilin, China (龙胜梯田 - 龙脊梯田)
5) Bicycle ride around scenic rural and countryside areas just outside of Yangshuo, China (骑自行车在阳朔乡间)
6) A tour around Guilin, China at night including night markets, street food, pagodas and lakes 晚上桂林
7) Taking the train in China from Hong Kong to Guangzho en route to Guilin travel video
So tonight is our very last night in Yangshuo, a charming little town in Southwestern China, so we're going to show you around the main strip.
So our first stop is going to be the street food market. I haven't eaten in maybe two hours, so it's time to get a snack.
If I had to choose between Guilin and Yangshuo the two most popular cities in this region it's definitely Yangshuo. It's a more historic town. It's a lot more pedestrian friendly and there are great
As we were wandering around the night market tonight we had lots of people come up to us and ask to take photos beside us. At least probably four or five times and we finally filmed the last one. It was really cool. We were like celebrities in China. Yeah, almost famous.
So, this market had some pretty cool souvenirs. We saw fake Chinese passports if you want to take one of those home. They also had combs carved out of ox bone. They had these stamps where you can get your Chinese name carved on them and then you can just sign documents that way which is pretty cool.
Today we are visiting a local hill tribe that just lives a few hours outside of Guilin and we've come here because this community is known for the women's long hair. They grow it out and it's almost a meter and a half long and we're actually going to be watching a performance where they spin their hair and wrap it up and show us how they wear it.
Today we're in between Guilin and Yangshuo and we're doing a special river cruise down the Li River.
So this tour is going to be an hour and a half long and we're going to get to enjoy some pretty stunning landscapes, so I'm pretty excited about it.
When I came here two years ago it was hazy and foggy. Now it's a gorgeous glorious day.
Here we are at the Longji Rice Fields which are located just outside of Guilin. We've had such good luck. Check out the weather and the views behind.
So we are hiking up to one of the viewing platforms. This is going to be tough because it's like forty degrees outside and we're been told it'll take 30 minutes to one hour depending on our pace. So I'm trying to stay hydrated. Audrey is going to have to workout
We've rented a couple of bikes and we've decided to spend our last morning exploring around the countryside areas of Yangshuo. They were pretty cheap. Just under two dollars for each bike.
So we finally made it to Guilin.
So this is the Guilin main square. It gets really busy here at night. Lots of shops, restaurants, eateries. You can do it all here.
Chinese singing.
So we are now at the lake and the main attraction are the these two pagodas that light up at night.
Background music playing.
Oh, that mapo tofu looks so good. Really generous sized portion.
Well, it's hard to believe but our time in Hong Kong has already expired. Today we're taking a train ride. Where are we going? We're crossing over into China.
We are in Guangzho. Apparently there are two train stations. We arrived at the one that is on the East End of the City and we had to get across town to the other and it was difficult but we need to keep going.
So right now we are in Guangzho station waiting for our train to Guilin. And we happen to be waiting in the VIP room.
There is no tea in this tea room.
We're going to Guilin.
Uh, we're looking for number ten.
So we're in the dining cart now getting ready to have dinner. Let's see what is on the menu if we can even read it. We barely got a seat here.
Decision time. So we did manage to find an English menu which makes things a lot easier.
Fish one. Tofu with pork. One. Okay. Rice. One Rice? Okay. Beer. One. Okay. Ah, green tea - one. okay.
So this is the friend fish with a sweet and sour sauce.
Good morning. We are almost in Guilin. Our train has been delayed about an hour and a half.

A walk around the city of Paris France during a period of one week in December 2011.
Paris, being my favorite city, was deserving of a longer film. I hope that this longer, yet 'small scratch of the surface' film of this magnificent city shall convince you to visit for yourselves and experience all that Paris has to offer first hand. Bon Voyage!
With Google Maps, you may get an even better idea of these spots by cross referencing the image description to the map:
https://www.google.ca/maps/@48.8516303,2.3364169,12z?hl=en
I definitely recommend taking a tour with 'Sight Seekers Delight' in Paris. Their various walking tours show you the best of Paris.
http://www.sightseekersdelight.com/
The musicians playing in the metro in the film are called "Les Musiciens de Lviv". Some more info on them: http://www.squidoo.com/cabaret-slave
The man doing tricks with the football at Montmartre is Iya Traoré, a professional football player and freestyler. https://www.facebook.com/iyartball
Camera equipment:
---------------------------
- Sony HDR-AX2000 HD video camera (night shots and most stationary shots).
- Sony Nex-VG10 HD video camera (walking shots).
Camera Accessories

- Glidecam HD-2000 hand-held camera stabilization.
- Sennheiser K6 module + ME66 shotgun microphone capsule.
- Manfrotto 701HDV pro fluid video mini head / 055XB tripod legs.

Travel Spain and appreciate it's amazing diversity by meeting the locals.
(English/Spanish Language)
Stories include:
*In Sevilla I interview two flamenco dancers, Asa Danielson from Sweden, and Elena Moro Roman, an Australian of Spanish Background. Both have moved to Sevilla to practice flamenco. I also try to define the flamenco term 'Duende', with interpretative dance and poetry.
*Cuenca, a Unesco World Heritage site, has a rich and varied history. Best known for it's Hanging Houses, Cuenca was founded as a Moorish fort, became a centre for religious orders, and more recently, became home for many artists. I interview Alberto Cuesta Senior about the joys of maintaining a garden and spoke with Antonio Perez about his Contemporary Art Museum.
*Benimaclet was a farming village on the outskirts of Valencia. As Valencia grows, one history replaces another. Alberto Cuesta, a scientist discusses the changes occurring in his Benimaclet neighborhood.
*Cave Dwellers (cuevas) of San Miguel Alto. In Granada I visit the Alhambra, a fine example of Moorish Architecture, which uses the aesthetically pleasing golden ratio in its dimensions. I then learn about cave living, interviewing such characters as Dr, Sun, who uses a solar cooking machine to prepare meals.
*What I like about Vigo is that it is not a tourist town. It is just a town where Spanish life carries on as it has for generations. I was a guest of the Ramallo family, and interviewed Fernando Ramallo, a linguistics professor, about the various languages spoken in Spain.
*The Basque people and their language may well be the oldest in europe, pre dating the Celts and the Romans. I investigate whether they know of the fountain of youth. Rebecca Ezquerro helps me on my search
*It is always interesting to hear what people have to say about their city. In Barcelona I interviewed Nick Musgrave, and englishman who moved from London to pursuit photography, and Pilar de la Pena Sanchez, who believes the streets of Barcelona act out like a movie.
*The theme for my Madrid video is follow your dream. I interview Marta Escauriaza about living her dream of running a restaurant, and Javier Icazuriaga about his recently established music recording business.

What are Binaurals? Binaural beats were originally discovered in 1839 by physicist Heinrich Wilhelm Dove. He discovered when signals of two different frequencies are presented separately, one to each ear, your brain detects the phase variation between the frequencies and tries to reconcile that difference. In doing so, as the two frequencies mesh in and out of phase, your brain creates its own third signal — called a binaural beat — which is equal to the difference between those two frequencies.
For example, if a frequency of 100 Hz is presented to your left ear, and a frequency of 105 Hz is presented to your right ear, your brain "hears" a third frequency pulsing at 5 Hz, the exact difference between the two frequencies.
Research has proven that introducing a binaural beat will cause the brain to begin resonating in tune with that beat. By creating a binaural beat at 10 Hz — an Alpha frequency — you can trigger your brain to resonate at that same 10 Hz frequency, automatically inducing brain activity in the Alpha range. This same technique can be used to quickly and easily guide your mind into any state.
Be sure to wear headphones for a more intense binaural experience, relax and set your intention. Please do not listen to binaural beats while doing heavy physical work or driving & PLEASE SHARE YOUR EXPERIENCE BELOW IN THE COMMENTS SECTION
