Another new song, this time with sequenced fake drums. Listen to that tom rattle!

I wrote a new song for the Toyins and we have recorded a demo -- James will add guitar on it soon, so it isn't completely finished, but I'm quite pleased with it even still.

Thanks to the magic that is Snakes On A Plane, I have been inspired to make an advertisement for a snake-repellent -- Ban-A-Conda, available in spray or roll-on form.
For some reason the web server I keep this thing on thinks it is 2001, so if there is any odd behaviour, it may be down to that.
I think that silence is appropriate, and it shall remain appropriate.
His father said to Sofa Head,
"My son, I give to thee
"The total of my lifetime's work,
"An alcoholic legacy."
"The ballpoint blue of old tattoos,
"The shrieks of a drunken whore,
"The wine-red stains of open veins,
"A squib on the lavatory floor."
And Sofa Head believed that his head was full of hair,
Not like a hamster, more like an armchair.
And sofa head was sure
He could pull out more and more and more ....
Theodolite Productions commissioned a logo:
And lo, there was much rejoicing in the land!
They also commissioned a poster and flyer design for their Edinburgh show, which will be at C Central, North Bridge (map) at 2pm from 5th to 14th August. These are excellent performers, so if you're in the area, go.
More detail can be seen at their website:
I have made several forays into the world of t-shirt design, starting with hand-painted t-shirts when I was a teenager, and more recently graduating to screenprinting with the Toyin Melody shirts. I have now gone one step sideways and got me a Café Press shop.
Now you, too, can own the Greatest T-Shirt On Earth.
In other news, I've been doing some more recording, so check out the songs section.
Peace out, y'all.
Today Ripe Fruit gets an interface overhaul. Essentially, at this point, I have copied the CSS from the Toyin Melody website wholesale over to here. This makes some pages look a bit odd, notably all pages using frames, which I will also be phasing out.
There is also a slight colour mismatch between the background colour and the navigation graphics.
Bear with me. It will all look better in the end.
