The strength of JRSA rests in our members' commitment to promoting the effective and efficient administration of criminal and juvenile justice through the objective analysis of data and the dissemination of research that informs policy and practice. Your membership dues help JRSA accomplish this mission at the local, state, and federal levels. JRSA is at an exciting crossroads. The Strategic Plan adopted in 2015 includes a vision for JRSA as the premier professional organization for all state justice researchers and statistical analysis centers that promote the use of statistical data and research to guide policy and practice, creating a more effective and responsive criminal justice system in the states. In support of that plan, JRSA’s Bylaws afford full membership rights and privileges, including the rights to vote on JRSA’s business affairs and to hold office in the Association, to all members in good standing. In addition, there are opportunities for members to shape the work of the Association by serving on one of JRSA’s six committees designed to implement the Strategic Plan. There are numerous benefits to joining JRSA, including: a subscription to Justice Research and Policy, our semi-annual peer-reviewed journal published by Sage; JRSA webinars, eNewsletters, and policy briefings; and access to JRSA’s new online Communities of Practice, covering all stages of the criminal and juvenile justice systems. Membership also entitles you to reduced fees to the annual National Forum on Criminal Justice that JRSA cosponsors with the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA). To renew your JRSA membership, log in to the Members Area and select My Account, then My Transations, and then click the "Pay Open Orders" button to renew your membership.
