Plot: An all-boys group from Allahabad's St. Joseph's College is thrilled when a new-comer from Mumbai, Vaishnavi, joins them. Most of the students' time is spent in college, then in coaching classes, and finally they return home to stern parents who want them to complete their homework and ensure they secure good marks and become doctors, engineers, and IAS officers. Some even go to the extent of forcing their children to take up Science instead of Arts - killing whatever talent and initiative their children may have. Unable to handle the pressure as well as convince his parents to let him take arts - Navneet Singh kills himself. Devastated by his death, his friends approach Advocate Sanjay to sue not only Navneet's but also their respective parents. The Police refuse to register a complaint, and Sanjay files this matter in a Trial Court naming the parents as well as the Government of India as defendants. Many other students approach him and add themselves as plaintiffs- bringing the total to over one Lakh nine thousand. The argument from the Government is that this is a personal issue, strongly supported by parents who assert that they only want a better future for their children. With the media and politicians taking an interest in this scenario - the debate taking place is how will an already overburdened and openly corrupt judicial system - that has matters pending for decades - will address - leave alone resolve - this issue within the students' lifetime.

Played in Australia, the series gained notoriety in Australian and worldwide cricketing history for the fact that the English team (headed by captain Douglas Jardine) applied a bowling technique called "leg theory", or more commonly, Bodyline. This technique involved bowlers bowling the ball directly at the batsman's body, and resulted in many of the Australian team receiving numerous bruises and injuries, with batsman Bert Oldfield sustaining a cracked skull. The series generated much anger and resentment towards the English team within Australia and seriously damaged Anglo-Australian cricketing relations at the time.

The old woman and her daughter hear these news and send Anya during a terrible snowstorm into the woods to collect the flowers. Anya has no option but to obey and is sure that she will die in her attempt to find the flowers, a mission that seems impossible; it's the 31st of December and there are no flowers of any kind in the woods during this season. In the woods, Anya meets the Spirits of the Twelve Months and in reward for her kindness and good nature, the Spirit of April proposes helping the girl by presenting her with one hour of spring during which she can pick the flowers and return home safely. When this is done, the Spirit of January makes the girl promise that she will never tell anyone about this encounter, and the Spirit of April gives her one more gift, a magic ring that will summon the spirits' help should she ever be in trouble. Upon returning home, Anya is thanked by the queen for bringing her the flowers, but the young queen, who is no more than another orphaned girl of Anya's age, insists on knowing where the flowers came from. Anya then struggles between keeping her promise to the spirits or holding on to her own life.

Prime Minister's Question Time
Question Time in the House of Commons is an opportunity for MPs to question government ministers about matters for which they are responsible.
Prime Minister's Question Time, also referred to as PMQs, takes place every Wednesday that the House of Commons is sitting and gives MPs the chance to put questions to the Prime Minister.
In most cases, the session starts with a routine 'open question' from an MP about the Prime Minister's engagements. MPs can then ask supplementary questions on any subject, often one of current political significance.
Opposition MPs follow up on this or another topic, usually led by the Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn. Usually, he is the only MP allowed to come back with further questions.

The Prime Minister, David Cameron, answered questions from MPs in the House of Commons on Wednesday 28 October 2015.
To find out more about this week's questions, including links to the transcript, visit: http://www.parliament.uk/PMQs-28-october-2015
Opposition MPs follow up on this or another topic, usually led by the Leader of the Opposition, Harriet Harman. Usually, she is the only MP allowed to come back with further questions.

French Prime Minister Manuel Valls spoke in the French National Assembly where he touted proposed changes to the constitution, in Paris on Friday, which would strip dual nationals of their French citizenship.
SOT, Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France (French): "It is in this way, that on Tuesday, the "Project of Law for the State of Emergency" has been adopted by the Council of State, and was presented on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers, the same day, it was put forward to neutralise those who have attacked our country, who have attacked Paris and who would probably like to plan another massive attack in the future."
SOT, Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France (French): "I tell you here once again, that the State of Emergency is an alternative regime that will be provided for in the law today if you decided it in the constitution. Inscribe the State of Emergency into the Supreme Law, it is subordinated by the implementation of the law, and it is the same essential definition as the rule of law."
SOT, Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France (French): "Yes, the State of Emergency is effective, and necessary for the security of your compatriots. In three months, 3,289 administrative searches have allowed us to seize 560 weapons, of which 42 were weapons of war. 341 people have been placed under surveillance, and 571 judicial processes have been opened. 407 have been placed under house arrest. Radical mosques and prayer rooms have been closed, the associations dissolved, by the Council of Ministers. The cells have been destabilised; numerous individuals have been identified and placed under surveillance."
SOT, Manuel Valls, Prime Minister of France (French): "Those who reject our values, who violently tear up the Republican Pact, who engage in a terror army in order to kill their own compatriots for remaining French. For this, the revoking of nationality is an integral part of the Republic."
SOT, Cecile Duflot, Politician (French): "But neither the state of emergency, nor the revoking of nationality require a constitutional revision."

David Cameron, British Prime Minister: "It's great to be back in Warsaw. And as the Prime Minister said, we want to see a full strategic partnership between Britain and Poland. And that is because of the shared interests and shared ideals that we have. Shared interest in strong defence and in supporting NATO, in standing up to Russian aggression, shared interest in terms of growing our economies and seeing them grow and integrate more closely together, shared interests in making sure that Europe has genuine energy security and of course shared interests in making sure that Europe is a Europe that respects and understands the importance of nation states and the role that they play and proud nation states like Britain and Poland working together inside Europe. Now, I know we will be discussing in detail the proposals that the Council president has put forward and I look forward to those discussions. I very much agree with what the Prime Minister has said, that Britain is better off in a reformed European Union if we can achieve those changes and I think that is something that would be good for Britain, good for Europe and also good for Poland."

New Zealand's economic development minister Joyce is hit by a flying sex toy at a Waitangi Day event in a protest over the TPP trade deal.Nurse Josie Butler yelled "That's for raping our sovereignty" when she threw what appeared to be a large rubber penis at Steven Joyce's face.
She said it was a protest against the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal, signed in Auckland on Thursday.
Mr Butler was unhurt and later took to Twitter to make a joke of the incident.
Prime Minister John Key had pulled out of attending the event amid a row about New Zealand's role in the TPP.
New Zealand's national day marks the 1840 signing of the Treaty of Waitangi, which made New Zealand a part of the British Empire and guaranteed rights to the indigenous Maori population, although many were not fully respected.

I wanted to give a brief update on the EU renegotiations. This week the Prime Minister, David Cameron, came back from intensive negotiations with his colleagues in Europe and the President of the Council of the European Union, Donald Tusk, and put forward a set of draft proposals for a renegotiated relationship between the United Kingdom and the EU. The draft proposals will form the basis of negotiations between heads of government in the EU countries on the 19th February 2016 and whatever is agreed to - if it is agreed to - will be put before UK Parliament and could lead to a referendum as early as 23rd June 2016. I am going to wait until I see the final proposals before making a decision - the devil will be in the details.
There were some good things the Prime Minister brought back, such as ending our obligation to "ever closer union", but there were things that were not adequately addressed, for example the draft proposals did not stop migrant workers in the UK being able to send child benefit back to their children in another country.
I have said all along that I hope to stay in on the basis that we achieve substantial reform, but will probably vote to Leave out on the basis that I was not overly optimistic on what the Prime Minister would come back with. My position has not changed and I will need a lot more convincing than what these draft proposals show to vote to Remain. I am going to reserve judgement until the ink has dried on the paper. If we do have a settlement after the 19th February, I will look at it closely and say what my position is going to be and whether I am going to be part of a vote Leave or a vote Remain campaign.
I want to hold a series of 'Talk to Tim' public meetings around the constituency, we started in January with a well attending meeting in Sompting, to have a proper debate amongst local people about the implications of leaving and/or what these draft proposals will mean if we remain.

British Prime Minister David Cameron has recorded a video message to mark the 2016 Chinese New Year.
"I want to send my best wishes to everyone around the world celebrating Chinese New Year. Here in Britain, we're not just marking the beginning of the Year of the Fire Monkey, but the growing relationship between Britain and China," said Cameron.
The prime minister emphasized that the bond between the two countries has shined brightly in such areas as education, business and tourism.
Cameron noted that Chinese President Xi Jinping's visit to the United Kingdom in October 2015 opened a golden era for ties between Britain and China.
"Last year, it was an honor to welcome President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng to the UK, heralding a golden era in our countries' relationship. During the state visit - the first in a decade - we made a huge range of agreements that would bring us even closer together, from more investment and research to better visa arrangements. And this year will be about delivering on those things," he said.
Cameron said British citizens see the impact that people of Chinese origin have on the country in hospitals, schools and Parliament, adding that the British Chinese community more than makes its mark.
"So as the lights go up, the parades begin, the music starts and families gather together, let's celebrate everything we're achieving together. And let me wish you the very best health and happiness for the new year. Xin nian kuai le (Happy New Year)," said Cameron.

A politician has been left red in the face after having a pink dildo thrown at him while he was being interviewed.
New Zealand's Economic Development Minister, Steven Joyce, copped the sex toy on the chin when it was hurled by woman who laughed and smiled as she was led away by what looked like security guards.
She had yelled out 'that's for raping our sovereignty' as she threw the object, possibly a reference to the controversial Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal, which was just signed in New Zealand's capital, Wellington.
The woman said 'I know, I know' and looked amused by the situation as she was led away from the minister and was later taken away by police, Radio Live reported.
Responding to the incident, Mr Joyce agreed it had been 'a bit of a shock' and said 'it's fair to say those I don't think those sorts of things happen every day'.
When asked how he was feeling about it he said: 'oh, its fine, a little bit surprised but we actually... thought it was a little bit humourous at the end of it all... New experiences in politics every day. It's the privilege of serving.
He appeared to be making light of the situation, even tweeting 'someone send the gif [of the video] to [U.S. comedian] John Oliver so we can get it over with'
Oliver has poked fun at Mr Joyce, and his party's leader, Prime Minister John Key, before.
New Zealand Labour Party leader Andrew Little called it a 'creative item' to throw at a politician, The New Zealand Herald reported.
Politicians in the country are gathering in the northern New Zealand for Waitangi Day celebrations, which mark the day in 1840 the Treaty of Waitangi - the country's founding document - was signed.
In previous years at the event, politicians have had a range of items thrown at them, including golf balls, eggs, mud, dead fish and vegetables.
Social media has had a field day with the incident, which started trending on Twitter on Friday afternoon under the hashtag #dildogate.
New Zealand media appears to be enjoying the story as well, with most major outlets quickly covering the story.
The New Zealand Herald ran an article on the incident leading with the headline 'Steven Joyce to go down in history as Dildo Baggins

Opposition MPs follow up on this or another topic, usually led by the Leader of the Opposition, Harriet Harman. Usually, she is the only MP allowed to come back with further questions.
