DEFORMITY

Already shared a couple of tapes from this New York City powerhouse, but this slab from June 2011 is an absolute creamer. DEFORMITY crank out hopelessly addictive jams within the admittedly narrow confines of UK influenced blown out chaos punk, and DISORDER be damned if this ain't some of the best shit you've crammed in your ears.  DEFORMITY have matured into a guitar heavy juggernaut of the highest caliber - high barked vocals and a hardcore attack rooted as much in primal early USHC as the obvious UK influences. Yeah, it's awesome.

DEFORMITY

Raw punk explosion motherfuckers. Here's the third demo from New York's DEFORMITY, and from the screech that opens "Sacrifice" you know you are are going to get treated to a non stop barrage of 4 track madness. Everything is (naturally) pegged in the red, and the mix is perfect for this style of noisy fukkd hardcore. The bass is blown out, hollow and low end heavy, while the drums are buried in a wash of white cymbal noise with a flat snare drum getting brutalized just begging to be heard. Appropriately affected vocals battle for attention with the wall of guitar noise, but the vocals lose this battle, and will likewise lose all future contests with that six stringed ear destroyer. You know the comparisons by now - CONFUSE, DISORDER and so on - but DEFORMITY take UK82 simplicity, DBeat ferocity, and a whole shitload of high end distortion and make themselves a healthy racket. Maybe Monday should be noise punk day? Blast this shit.

DEFORMITY

When I put up the killer third demo from New York rippers DEFORMITY back in August, Noise Punk Mondays were born. Shiva was kind enough to send me a copy of their long out of print second demo and I lagged severely in the 'returning the favor' department until last week (the tapes are in the mail Shiva - apologies for the delay) so now I don't feel guilty sharing this raging five tracks distort-o-rama. A few of these tunes appear in a more advanced form on the 3rd tape, but this shit from early 2010 is pure raw primitive high end noise punk at it's finest. It sounds like it looks - enjoy.
