Are you a wrestling fan? Would you like to see more wrestling events on TV? Stand up and be counted! Register yourself as a wrestling fan.
In the wake of International Wrestling nearly losing its spot in the Olympic Games, we learned that there are between 6-8 million people who have wrestling in their backgrounds alive today. The NR4W’s goal is to build a list of 1 million of them.
Our Idea
Our goal is to build a list of 1 million wrestling fans. In our society, there is power in numbers. Large fan bases have purchasing power in the world of broadcasting and advertising. Once we quantify wrestling’s fan base, we can take these numbers to outlets such as mainstream media networks to show them that televising wrestling can be of financial benefit to them.
Why We Need You
It’s easier for us to reach those that are currently involved with wrestling, but to find 1 million fans, we must reconnect with former wrestlers who might have strayed away from wrestling’s reach as they got older, and introduce the sport to new fans. That’s where you come in. In the age of social media, if you sign up and then share our cause with your friends, word of mouth can help us reach many who we might not have been able to without your help!
