LEAViNG FOR TOKYO!
This week has not been my best week but I'm planning on turning that around. Haven't been myself recently. Not hustling, not grinding, not being the best me I can be. That will no longer be the case starting tomorrow. I'm going hard, getting what I need to get done, and getting back to being a better, positive, optimistic person. Thanks for coming back today to be apart of my journey. It really me

24 Hours In Tokyo
24 Hours In Tokyo is a project created in collaboration with The Marriott hotel.
I’ve always been fascinated in Tokyo as a city. It’s a place that is incredibly strong in it's culture, old in its traditions and teeming with life. For a long time i've wanted to create a video there and recently we were lucky enough to have that chance. The following is my 24 hours in Tokyo.

For those that don’t know Airsoft too well may think that Shot Show & IWA are the largest displays for new and innovative Airsoft products. The truth is that the Shizuoka Hobby Show of Japan tends to gather the most hype. Why? Because brands like Tokyo Marui like to surprise us every so often. Their M4A1 MWS GBBR was meant to be in the limelight… But it was their AA-12 Automatic Electric Shotgun that stole the show. Everybody went absolutely bonkers, including Quake, but now Tim is finally here for the full review.

Get info about things to do, where to stay, and the best food to eat on your visit to Tokyo, Japan. Here's the guide: http://wp.me/psd9b-4EA
Tokyo (東京), Japan, is one of the world's greatest cities, and there's so much to do and see when you visit. From temples and shrines, to gardens and museums, you'll never run out of attractions. Out of all the things you could do, I've chosen a top 25 list for this awesome city (and just so you know food is my first choice in Tokyo)!
1. Ameya-Yokochō (アメヤ横丁) - A giant open air market that offers clothes, cosmetics, food, and restaurants and bars.
2. Meiji Shrine (明治神宮) - This Shinto shrine, surrounded by beautiful forest, is extremely significant.
3. Ryogoku Kokugikan (両国国技館) - Even if it's not fight season, you can go to the free sumo museum and eat sumo chankonabe.
4. Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden (新宿御苑) - The garden is a beautiful attraction in Tokyo, with French gardens, Japanese gardens, and a green house.
5. Ginza (銀座) / Yurakucho (有楽町) - Ginza is a great area of town for upscale shopping and dining, while Yurakucho is famous for Izakaya bars and restaurants under the railroad track.
6. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building (東京都庁舎) - There are a lot of things to do in Tokyo where you have to pay, but here, you can go to the 45th floor for free.
7. Tsukiji Market (築地市場) - One of the most famous attractions in all of Tokyo is the Tsukiji Market (築地市場), the biggest seafood market in the world.
8. Shibuya (渋谷区) - With the busiest intersection in the world, Shibuya (渋谷区) is also home to shopping and restaurant.
9. Sumida River (隅田川) - At Tokyo's Sumida River, you can either just walk around the park and enjoy the riverside views, or you can take the Tokyo Cruise in a boat.
10. Tokyo Imperial Palace (皇居) - This is the home of the emperor of Japan. To enter the grounds, you have to make a tour booking on the official website
11. Ueno Park (上野公園), Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館) - Ueno Park is a huge public park in Tokyo with shrines, gardens and a number of museums.
12. Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) - They call it Tokyo's biggest attractions. It's a huge communications tower with various viewing decks and galleries.
13. Harajuku (原宿), Takeshita Street (竹下通り) - Famous for its street market and cosplay that takes place, this is a place in the city to see and be seen.
14. Senso-ji (金龍山浅草寺) - Visiting this temple is one of the top things to do in Tokyo, frequented by both tourists and religious pilgrims. It's the oldest temple in Tokyo.
15. Edo-Tokyo Museum (江戸東京博物館) - It looks a little like a UFO, but it's one of Tokyo's main museums, that aims to preserve the history of the city.
16. Fine Dining - Let's just face it, Tokyo is one of the best cities in the world for high class dining - atmosphere, presentation, food, it's all just stunning!
17. Akihabara Electric Town (秋葉原電気街) - If you love electronics and gaming, you're going to love the area of Akihabara. You'll also find those infamous maid cafes here.
18. Tokyo Stock Exchange (東京証券取引所) - Another free attraction in Tokyo is to be a guest at the stock exchange where you can see the Japanese Nikkei being traded.
19. Roppongi (六本木) - Home to the Mori Art Museum and a hotspot for nightlife in the city, Roppongi is an exciting area of town.
20. Odaiba (お台場) - This area of Tokyo is full of things to do like Legoland, and Palette Town, an indoor amusement park. It's also known as Tokyo's entertainment island.
21. Yoyogi Park (代々木公園) - Located next to Meiji Shrine, and just a short distance from Harajuku and Shinjuku, this park is popular for exercise and dance.
22. Nezu (根津), Yanaka (谷中 (台東区) - Tokyo is a truly modern city, but there are a couple places like Nezu and Yanaka that have held strong to their traditional and cultural roots.
23. Onsen (温泉) - You've got to strip down naked before you can enter a Japanese public bath.
24. Mount Takao (高尾山) - Just 50 km from central Tokyo, this mountain is popular for climbing and is a sacred religious mountains. Makes a good day trip from Tokyo.
25. Food - Finally, food is the reason I visited Japan, and I think eating is by all means one of the best things to do in Tokyo. Food is everywhere, and not only does it taste amazing, but the care that goes into Japanese cuisine is incredible.
Thank you very much for watching this video that includes some of the best things to do in Tokyo. I hope it will give you inspiration to visit and eat through this amazing city.

Welcome to Tokyo, the capital of Japan and the epitome of the word “megacity.”
In this vast metropolis, ancient traditions blend with futuristic buildings, and your Tokyo sightseeing will take you to representations of each. Pay your respects at temples set in forested hillsides, then flex your credit card in one of the shopping districts, before sitting down to a five-star meal…all in one day.
Your Tokyo tour begins with the subway and train system, which will take you all over this sprawling city. Tokyo is home to some 35 million people, many of which you’ll meet as its public transit carries you throughout its many neighborhoods. Make a stop in Asakusa, a temple district nestled in leafy trees with skyscrapers towering in the background. There you’ll visit Nakamisi Dori, a street loaded with food vendors and religious charms. Get to know the city a little better in the Harajuku district, home to cutting-edge fashion, a thriving, youth-centered culture, and the famous Yoyogi Park. The park stands out in stern contrast to the rest of the neighborhood; this sprawling, 134-acre green space is where locals slow down after a frenzied week of work and play.
As night falls, make your way to Shinjuku. Many of Tokyo’s premier restaurants and pubs span Shinjuku’s streets, and you can indulge in succulent 5-star meals or sample with fast food from local vendors. Watch a movie, do some karaoke, and linger with fellow travelers and friendly locals alike.

A real life capsule to sleep in. Cool!
This is one of the most "ONLY in JAPAN" experiences possible — staying in a capsule hotel in a Japanese city. It’s cheap and convenient but why do people actually stay here? Is it ... you know ... big enough?
In this episode, John Daub and Masahito Kawahata head to the Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel in Kabukicho to find out.
Japan’s Capsule Hotels are more than cheap places to crash.
This type of hotel is distinctively Japanese in style, cramming in as much as possible into a tiny space to make a comfortable experience, but can a guest really be comfortable in one?
More and more foreign tourists to Japan want to give it a try! How small are these capsule? How much is a night? What are the rules?
Is it worth it?
Miss your last train?
Work too late?
Argument with your husband or wife and need a place to crash? Those might be the normal reasons why Japanese salarymen spend the night at a capsule hotel.
For foreign tourists it’s a chance to experience a unique style of hotel that seems more like spending a night at the morgue.
Before you pass judgement on capsule hotels, some things about them may surprise you!
What can you find at the capsule hotel?
Here’s a list:
Capsules
Lockers
Restaurant (Open 18:00~24:00)
Community Room
Vending machines
Laundry machines
Fast and free WIFI
English speaking staff
Women’s only floor
Japanese-style bath and sauna
Close to Shinjuku Station, bars, Golden Gai and Robot Restaurant

This week has not been my best week but I'm planning on turning that around. Haven't been myself recently. Not hustling, not grinding, not being the best me I can be. That will no longer be the case starting tomorrow. I'm going hard, getting what I need to get done, and getting back to being a better, positive, optimistic person. Thanks for coming back today to be apart of my journey. It really means so much!

I'm back home now, my mommy (the Debbie Machine) is here and she says hello to all of you, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by a family that loves you and annoys you to no end, or even a friendsgiving with people that care about you. I'm thankful for so much, and I'm feeling especially grateful for this trip to Tokyo because it really has changed my life. I learned so much about respect and kindness and have been truly inspired by everyone that I met there. Thank you thank you thank you so much for having me and I would gladly come back anytime. Thank you to everyone that came to meet me and to everyone that helped us from Google/youtube to make this a once in a lifetime opportunity, I had a blast, and thoroughly enjoyed every moment being in your country. Love you. Itarashemashe, ITARASHEMASHE!!!!! (probably spelled all wrong but this was what I said the whole trip to myself, it means like, welcome to the store and then I would yell at myself WELCOME TO THE STOREEEE!!!! I'm a fucking troll).
Please subscribe to my channel and my vlog channel! I make new videos here every Wednesday and make vlogs during my majestical daily life.

wn.com/Oops I'm In Tokyo

Tokyo
Tokyo, Japan is the original mega-city, a throbbing, dynamic metropolis of 32.5 million people, well over 50 percent more massive than the world's next largest metropolitan areas. With populations clustering around 20 million people, the metro regions of Seoul, Mexico City, New York and Mumbai are all less than two-thirds the magnitude of the Tokyo metro area.
Tokyo's ranking as the world's number one city goes well beyond the sheer scale of its population. Its lively Shibuya district is home to the world's busiest intersection, a vibrant pedestrian scramble which people traverse from every direction at the same time. Tokyo's famously bustling Tsukiji Market plays fishmonger to the world as the largest wholesale fish and seafood market on the planet.
Yet, despite its immense proportions, many worldly, well-traveled observers marvel at how well Tokyo functions. Tokyo's subway trains, packed to the gills during peak rush hour travel times, are known for arriving and departing with impressive precision. Moreover, the city manages to keep a comfortable handle on pollution, crime and other challenges that often accompany such immense urban environments.Tokyo officially Tokyo Metropolis (東京都 Tōkyō-to), is one of the 47 prefectures of Japan. Tokyo is the capital of Japan, the center of the Greater Tokyo Area, and the largest metropolitan area in the world. It is the seat of the Japanese government and the Imperial Palace, and the home of the Japanese Imperial Family. Tokyo is in the Kantō region on the southeastern side of the main island Honshu and includes the Izu Islands and Ogasawara Islands. Tokyo Metropolis was formed in 1943 from the merger of the former Tokyo Prefecture (東京府 Tōkyō-fu) and the city of Tokyo (東京市 Tōkyō-shi).
The Tokyo Metropolitan government administers the 23 special wards of Tokyo (each governed as a city), which cover the area that was the city of Tokyo, as well as 39 municipalities in the western part of the prefecture and the two outlying island chains. The population of the special wards is over 8 million people, with the total population of the prefecture exceeding 13 million. The prefecture is part of the world's most populous metropolitan area with upwards of 35 million people and the world's largest urban agglomeration economy with a GDP of US$1.479 trillion at purchasing power parity in 2008, ahead of New York City metropolitan area, which ranks second on the list. The city hosts 51 of the Fortune Global 500 companies, the highest number of any city.
Tokyo has been described as one of the three "command centers" for the world economy, along with New York City and London. The city is considered an alpha+ world city, listed by the GaWC's 2008 inventory[ and ranked fourth among global cities by A.T. Kearney's 2012 Global Cities Index. In 2012, Tokyo was named the most expensive city for expatriates, according to the Mercer and Economist Intelligence Unit cost-of-living surveys, and in 2009 named the third Most Liveable City and the World's Most Livable Megalopolis by the magazine Monocle. The Michelin Guide has awarded Tokyo by far the most Michelin stars of any city in the world. Tokyo hosted the 1964 Summer Olympics and is currently a candidate city for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

This video would not have been possible without the relentless help of the people below.

Visiting Tokyo's Izu Islands
Did you know that Tokyo has islands? Yes, the prefecture (province/state) of Tokyo has a volcanic chain of islands called the Izu Seven Islands group. We stayed at Shikinejima (Shikine-jima), which is a small island 3 km long by 2.5 km wide that is located 160 km south of the city of Tokyo. To get there, we took an overnight ferry, where we slept on a carpeted floor.

An erupting volcanic island that is expanding off Japan could trigger a tsunami if its freshly-formed lava slopes collapse into the sea, scientists say.
The small, but growing, island appeared last year and quickly engulfed the already-existing island of Nishinoshima, around 1000 kilometres south of Tokyo.
It now covers 1.26 square kilometres.

The annual Japanese defence white paper said that China's "coercive" behaviour in waters around another set of disputed islands could trigger an incident.
The same document also said that the disputed three islands, known as Dokdo in South Korea and Takeshim in Japan, are historically Tokyo's land under international law.

A dispute between China and Japan over a string of islands in the East China Sea continues to spark protest on both sides.
Protests over the islands, known as the Senkaku by Japan and the Diaoyu by China, grew in Tokyo over the weekend.
Japan has bought the islands privately, but China says it is the rightful owner.
Japan believes the group of these tiny islands lies just outside Chinese waters, but Beijing draws the border differently.
The islands are also near rich fishing grounds and critically are thought to contain oil deposits.
Al Jazeera's Steve Chao reports from Tokyo, where activists led a march on the Chinese embassy.

Cameras capture an undersea volcano giving birth to new island rising above the ocean 1,000 kilometres from Tokyo.
Full Story:
Japan added another island to its territory on Wednesday after an undersea volcano eruption in the southern Ogasawara island chain led to the birth of a small new island.
Footage from Japan's coast guard shows a 650 foot diameter island emerging under a plume of ash, nearby another small uninhabited island, which is also part of the chain.
Smoke from the eruption reached a height of almost 1,960 feet into the air.
Japan's government spokesman welcomed on Thursday the new addition to Japan's estimated 6,000 islands, which would technically be part of Tokyo if it survives its eruptions.
Japanese media said that the last time an island in the area was formed was 1973 to '74 when the nearby island of Nishinoshima took its current shape.
Suga however says it's too early to start naming the island as there have been instances where newly formed islands have sunk back into the waves.

California scientists have recently begun speaking of a nightmare double earthquake scenario where the Hayward and Calaveras faults would trigger each other to make for a combined shaker that would devastate the Golden State. The estimated costs in damages are approximately $300 billion.

Japan earthquake and Tsunami 2011 - Shocking video
An erupting volcanic island that is expanding off Japan could trigger a tsunami if its freshly-formed lava slopes collapse into the sea, scientists say.
The small, but growing, island appeared last year and quickly engulfed the already-existing island of Nishinoshima, around 1000 kilometres south of Tokyo.
It now covers 1.26 square kilometres.
The island's craters are currently spewing out 200,000 cubic metres of lava every day - enough to fill 80 Olympic swimming pools - which is accumulating in its east, scientists said.
"If lava continues to mount on the eastern area, part of the island's slopes could collapse and cause a tsunami," warned Fukashi Maeno, assistant professor of the Earthquake Research Institute at the University of Tokyo.
He said a rockfall of 12 million cubic metres of lava would generate a one metre tsunami that could travel faster than a bullet train, hitting the island of Chichijima - 130kms away - in around 18 minutes, he said.
Chichijima, home to about 2000 people, is the largest island in the Ogasawara archipelago, a wild and remote chain that is administratively part of Tokyo.
"The ideal way to monitor and avoid a natural disaster is to set up a new tsunami and earthquake detection system near the island, but it's impossible for anyone to land on the island in the current situation," Maeno added.
An official from the Japan Meteorological Agency, which monitors earthquakes and tsunamis, said the agency is watching for any signs of anything untoward.
"We studied the simulation this morning, and we are thinking of consulting with earthquake prediction experts ... about the probability of this actually happening, and what kind of measures we would be able to take," he said.
Japan's northeast was ravaged by a huge tsunami in March 2011, when a massive undersea earthquake sent a wall of water barrelling into the northeast coast, killing more than 18,000 people and wrecking whole towns.

Tokyo Governor Shintaro Ishihara said on Monday (April 16) that the Japanese capital is looking to buy a handful of disputed islands in the East China Sea claimed by both Japan and China.
The Japanese said several of the islands are owned privately by Japanese citizens and currently leased to the government.
The islands, known as Senkaku in Japan and Diaoyu in China, is part of a wider pattern of maritime territorial disputes between China with neighbors both citing historical and other claims over fishing areas and potential rich hydrocarbon deposits.
Ishihara called China's claims "unbelievable", and that the Tokyo government will buy the islands.
Japan says the median line between the two countries' coasts should mark the boundary of their exclusive economic zones.
Japan includes the islands claimed by both countries as its own territory when measuring from its coasts.
At stake are natural gas fields in a 970-km (620-mile) trough -- called Xihu by China and Okinawa by Japan -- in the East China Sea.

New Volcanic Island Near Tokyo Bonin Islands Prime Real Estate Japanese Coast Guard Video. A volcanic eruption has raised an island in the seas to the far south of Tokyo, the Japanese coast guard and earthquake experts said.
Advisories from the coast guard and the Japan Meteorological Agency said the islet is about 200 meters (660 feet) in diameter. It is just off the coast of Nishinoshima, a small, uninhabited island in the Ogasawara chain, which is also known as the Bonin Islands.
The approximately 30 islands are 1,000 kilometers (620 miles) south of Tokyo, and along with the rest of Japan are part of the seismically active Pacific "Ring of Fire."
The coast guard issued an advisory Wednesday warning of heavy black smoke from the eruption. Television footage seen Thursday showed heavy smoke, ash and rocks exploding from the crater, as steam billowed into the sky.
A volcanologist with the coast guard, Hiroshi Ito, told the FNN news network that it was possible the new island might be eroded away.
"But it also could remain permanently," he said.
The last time the volcanos in the area are known to have erupted was in the mid-1970s. Much of the volcanic activity occurs under the sea, which extends thousands of meters deep along the Izu-Ogasawara-Marianas Trench.
Japan's chief government spokesman welcomed the news of yet another bit, however tiny, of new territory.
"This has happened before and in some cases the islands disappeared," Yoshihide Suga said when asked if the government was planning on naming the new island.
"If it becomes a full-fledged island, we would be happy to have more territory."
The Japanese archipelago has thousands of islands. In some cases, they help anchor claims to wide expanses of ocean overlying potentially lucrative energy and mineral resources.
Japan has plans to build port facilities and transplant fast-growing coral fragments onto Okinotorishima, two rocky outcroppings even further south of Tokyo, to boost its claim in a territorial dispute with China.

STORYLINE:
A dozen people protested outside the Japanese consulate in Hong Kong on Thursday against attempts by a Japanese official to buy a group of disputed islands in the East China Sea.
Tokyo''s outspoken governor Shintaro Ishihara said earlier this week that the city is close to reaching an agreement with the private Japanese owner of three of the four islands in the group known as Senkaku in Japanese and Diaoyu in Chinese.
The islands, surrounded by rich fishing grounds, are also claimed by China and Taiwan. They have been a frequent flash point in diplomatic relations between Japan and China.
A collision between a Chinese fishing boat and Japanese coast guard vessels in 2010 near the islands set off a serious diplomatic spat, with Beijing temporarily freezing trade and ministerial talks.
In Hong Kong on Thursday, protesters chanted "Japan get out of the Diaoyu islands, the Diaoyu islands are Chinese territories" and burned Japanese military flags to show their discontent.
They also handed a petition letter to a member of the Japanese consulate.
Lew Mon-hung, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People''s Political Consultative Conference, described any attempt to buy the islands as "invalid and illegal".
Ishihara, a strong nationalist, said the idea is to block China from taking the islands from Japanese control, as the central government is reluctant to upset China.
He did not indicate how much the city would pay, but said the deal would be finalised while he is visiting the United States.

Aoshima island (青島), Ehime, has become one of the popular destinations for the cat lovers. The island has 15 people (between 50-80 years old) and more than 100 cats. There is neither inn, restaurant nor vending machine.
During WWII, many people escaped to the island from the main land. The island population hit the highest of 655 people in 1960. There have not been enough job so many people left the island. On 1976 the island's only primary school shut down. In early 2000 the cat population started to grow while the human population hit then new low, 50. Today you only see 15 people( 4 fishermen and the rest retirees) on the island.
There are nos car or even a bike on the island, so there are real threats to the cats, where they live peacefully among the many abandoned houses.
Another cat island in Japan is Tashirojima Island (田代島) in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, with 86 inhabitants and more than 100 cats. On this island, the cat is enshrined. There is a cat shrine and also a cat photo competition!

So now you are in Tokyo and you don't want to spend the day going from a place to another in a dark subway, right?
So here there is my recommendation, an awesome tour of 5 of the best places in Tokyo, all at a walking distance!
Obviously there are more than 5 things to do in Tokyo and each person has their own favorite places to visit. That being said, if you are a first timer in Japan, I recommend you spend half a day to do this tour. SERIOUSLY. Do this and you'll save a lot of time. Unless you want to see Sumo or the fish market, but if you are around my age, you will love this tour. You see the beautiful Japanese Meiji Shrine, see the crazy young Takeshitadori, the cool&hip; Harajuku Cat Street, get lost in Shibuya crossing, walk through the insane Center Street in Shibuya, and check out a really cool shop in Shibuya called LOFT for some shopping. Not to mention one of the best beers/ales in Tokyo and tons of shops on the way.
1) Meiji Jingu - https://www.google.com/maps/preview?q=meiji+jingu&ie;=UTF-8&ei;=clUSVJ2wDNbh8AWho4HgBA&ved;=0CAcQ_AUoAg

3) Harajuku Gyoza (Dumpling) - https://www.google.com/maps/search/gyoza+omotesando/@35.6675326,139.7060823,21z
