In the second part of my lecture on German Unification, I discuss Otto von Bismarck's employment of "realpolitik" to rally the German people around his plan for a unified Germany under Prussian dominance. Bismarck created the first European welfare state in order to weaken the Social Democratic Party (which he banned) and supported liberals who wanted to industrialize Prussia while not supporting their liberal political reforms. Through the skillful use of realpolitik, Bismarck set the stage for the unification of Germany through "Blood and Iron."

The Weissenbergs are a long time married couple who met and were raised in the Washington,DC area. They are both professionals who have each been employed in their respective fields for over 25 years, Cathie in the area of insurance and Peter within telecommunications, primarily for the industry giant Verizon, which is where he first became the victim of workplace harassment in 2002.
In 2010 a previous co-worker of Peter’s confided in him that his workplace harassment years before had been directed by the government not Verizon. This startling revelation prompted him to reach out for assistance initially contacting the White House and later in August 2011, his U.S. Senator at the direction of ACLU Staff Attorney Alex Abdo.
Shortly after that in October 2011, they both became the targets of mobbing, organized stalking and electronic harassment. Prior to that time neither had any knowledge of the “Targeted Individual” phenomena itself or the enormous amount of disinformation and propaganda surrounding it.
The Weissenbergs have been chronicling their story in a Project Avalon thread since 2013. Project Avalon was chosen as a repository because the site’s moderators have been brave enough not to censor it.

On this episode journalist and historian Douglas Valentine (http://www.douglasvalentine.com/index.htm) discusses his research that culminated in the landmark book The Phoenix Program (1990)–the definitive history of the CIA-led counterinsurgency and assassination program carried out in Vietnam during the late 1960s. Phoenix was a major precursor to the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security in the post-9/11 era and remains a potential harbinger in light of domestic military exercises such as Jade Helm set to begin this week.
Valentine also discusses with James the inroads the CIA has made in drug trafficking and mass media since the late 1960s, noting that the CIA is essentially the “organized crime branch” of the US government that has institutionalized its practices to shield against another ‘Gary Webb” meltdown of the mid-1990s.
In addition to The Phoenix Program, Valentine is the author of several other books including The Strength of the Wolf: The Secret History of America’s War on Drugs (2004) and The Strength of the Pack: The Personalities, Politics and Espionage that Shaped the Drug Enforcement Agency (2008). On the morning of March 3, 2014 YouTube and internet conspiracy researcher Michael Cravey, aka Thomas Brinkley, allegedly attacked a couple on the University of Florida campus. He then led police on a high speed car chase and died in a hail of police gunfire after charging an officer with a hatchet. The press suggested that Cravey was a “conspiracy theorist” who’d finally lost it–his preoccupations manifesting in series of crazed violence.
Yet there are numerous unanswered questions to the scenario purported as fact by U of Florida and Gainesville police. For example, Cravey had extensively researched the Aurora theatre shooting, and believed that he had broken that case. As another school year is upon us Real Politik welcomes back former Florida State Trooper and school safety expert Wolfgang Halbig for an update on his outstanding Freedom of Information Act requests with the Newtown Connecticut Police Department, Public Schools, and First Selectman. Halibig has been a tireless critic of the government-mandated version of the Sandy Hook massacre, raising necessary funds for legal representation and traveling to Newtown numerous times over the past year to demand that area officials present the necessary records that the shooting took place as it was presented by corporate news media.
Halbig filed his first FOI request with officials immediately involved in the Sandy Hook massacre back in February 2013 and they have yet to be satisfactorily addressed. Nevertheless, the Connecticut FOI Commission has seen fit to formally conclude (https://checkinitoutdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/201508110834-1.pdf) that Mr. Halbig’s requests have been settled. Halibut’s next step is to appeal the unfulfilled FOI requests to Connecticut Superior Court.
In other developments Monte Frank, the bicycle-cruising gun control advocate and attorney for Newtown leaders, appears to have perjured himself by confirming before the FOI Commission the authenticity of a Newtown police dash cam video document purportedly taken on 12/14/12 that curiously lacks the customary date and geo-location stamp necessary for its forensic utility.
Most recently PayPal pulled the plug on Halbig’s fundraising account, apparently under pressure from Sandy Hook victims’ organizations. A similar effort was successfully waged against Halbig’s GoFundMe account in October 2014.

Realpolitik (see also Political realism; from German: real "realistic", "practical" or "actual"; and Politik "politics", German pronunciation: [ʁeˈaːlpoliˌtiːk]) refers to politics or diplomacy based primarily on power and on practical and material factors and considerations, rather than ideological notions or moralistic or ethical premises. In this respect, it shares aspects of its philosophical approach with those of realism and pragmatism. The term realpolitik is sometimes used pejoratively to imply politics that are coercive, amoral, or Machiavellian. Balancing power to keep the European pentarchy was the means for keeping the peace, and careful Realpolitikers tried to avoid arms races.
'Realpolitik' was coined by Ludwig von Rochau, a German writer and politician in the 19th century. His 1853 book Grundsätze der Realpolitik angewendet auf die staatlichen Zustände Deutschlands describes the meaning of the term:

Darrell Hamamoto is a Professor of Asian American Studies at the University of California, Davis who is best known for his views on the desexualization of Asian American males in the media.
Dr. Hamamoto received his education at CSU Long Beach, Bowling Green State University and UC Irvine.
Professor Hamamoto created a 50-minute pornographic film named Skin on Skin, which starred Asian American actors and actresses and addresses the desexualization of Asian American males. Dr. Hamamoto created another piece called Yellowcaust: A Patriot Act, which includes clips from Skin on Skin and information regarding atrocities committed against Asian Americans in the U.S.'s history. His work has generated controversy for producing porn movies as research
Dr. Hamamoto was featured in both The Daily Show and Masters of the Pillow, which is a documentary about Skin on Skin.

They are both professionals who have each been employed in their respective fields for over 25 years, Cathie in the area of insurance and Peter within telecommunications, primarily for the industry giant Verizon, which is where he first became the victim of workplace harassment in 2002.
In 2010 a previous co-worker of Peter’s confided in him that his workplace harassment years before had been directed by the government not Verizon. This startling revelation prompted him to reach out for assistance initially contacting the White House and later in August 2011, his U.S. Senator at the direction of ACLU Staff Attorney Alex Abdo.
Shortly after that in October 2011, they both became the targets of mobbing, organized stalking and electronic harassment. Prior to that time neither had any knowledge of the “Targeted Individual” phenomena itself or the enormous amount of disinformation and propaganda surrounding it.
The Weissenbergs have been chronicling their story in a Project Avalon thread since 2013. Project Avalon was chosen as a repository because the site’s moderators have been brave enough not to censor it.

Phoenix was a major precursor to the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security in the post-9/11 era and remains a potential harbinger in light of domestic military exercises such as Jade Helm set to begin this week.
Valentine also discusses with James the inroads the CIA has made in drug trafficking and mass media since the late 1960s, noting that the CIA is essentially the “organized crime branch” of the US government that has institutionalized its practices to shield against another ‘Gary Webb” meltdown of the mid-1990s.
In addition to The Phoenix Program, Valentine is the author of several other books including The Strength of the Wolf: The Secret History of America’s War on Drugs (2004) and The Strength of the Pack: The Personalities, Politics and Espionage that Shaped the Drug Enforcement Agency (2008). In addition to his historical research, Valentine is also a poet. His latest collection of poetry is titled, With Our Eyes Wide Open: Poems of the New American Century (2014).

He then led police on a high speed car chase and died in a hail of police gunfire after charging an officer with a hatchet. The press suggested that Cravey was a “conspiracy theorist” who’d finally lost it–his preoccupations manifesting in series of crazed violence.
Yet there are numerous unanswered questions to the scenario purported as fact by U of Florida and Gainesville police. For example, Cravey had extensively researched the Aurora theatre shooting, and believed that he had broken that case. Halibig has been a tireless critic of the government-mandated version of the Sandy Hook massacre, raising necessary funds for legal representation and traveling to Newtown numerous times over the past year to demand that area officials present the necessary records that the shooting took place as it was presented by corporate news media.
Halbig filed his first FOI request with officials immediately involved in the Sandy Hook massacre back in February 2013 and they have yet to be satisfactorily addressed. Nevertheless, the Connecticut FOI Commission has seen fit to formally conclude (https://checkinitoutdotcom.files.wordpress.com/2015/08/201508110834-1.pdf) that Mr. Halbig’s requests have been settled. Halibut’s next step is to appeal the unfulfilled FOI requests to Connecticut Superior Court.
In other developments Monte Frank, the bicycle-cruising gun control advocate and attorney for Newtown leaders, appears to have perjured himself by confirming before the FOI Commission the authenticity of a Newtown police dash cam video document purportedly taken on 12/14/12 that curiously lacks the customary date and geo-location stamp necessary for its forensic utility.
Most recently PayPal pulled the plug on Halbig’s fundraising account, apparently under pressure from Sandy Hook victims’ organizations. A similar effort was successfully waged against Halbig’s GoFundMe account in October 2014.

She argues that this legal corporatization that has ensued in varying degrees since the late 1800s is a major factor in better understanding recent “mass shooting” drills, some of which are being presented to the public as actual events. In other words, once local municipalities and law enforcement agencies become dependent on federal grants, they are compelled to partake in such exercises to justify continued funding.
Sofia’s “From Chemtrails to Pseudolife” lectures and video series explain the relationship between synthetic biology, radiation biology and stratospheric geoengineering. In 2013 she began researching the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. The project resulted in her DVD, “Unraveling Sandy Hook in 2, 3, 4, and 5 Dimensions.” The presentation offers a different take on the use of staged events to shape society as we are moved to a posthuman world.
