On Saturday, September 27, 2014, Paul’s Air China flight left late at about 2:10 pm from Chongqing’a Jiangbei International Airport and arrived at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport at about 4:50 pm. The flight covered the 894 mile distance in about 2 hours/40 minutes. Chongqing is one of the biggest municipalities in the world with over 28,000,000+ people. Built on mountains and bluffs bordering the Yangtze and Jialing rivers, Chongqing is called the "mountain city" and "city on rivers". Chongqing has a unique landscape of mountains, rivers, forests, springs, waterfalls, gorges, and caves. The City has more than 100 days of fog per year and, thus, is also known as “Fog City”. With the world’s biggest dam “Three Gorges Dam” nearby, Chongqing will have an almost unlimited supply of cheap energy to support its growing economy. Not only is the Chongqing area the largest producer of motorcycles in China but also it has attracted a lot of foreign direct investment by many multinational corporations such as Ford, Mazda, HSBC, Citibank, Deutsche Bank and Walmart. Chongqing is one of China’s major inland ports.
