Walk from the Valley of the Queens across the desert and over the cliffs to the Valley of the Kings
Hire a bike and ride around Ancient Thebes - takes you less than 15 minutes to get there.

A local felucca ride just before sunset; shouldn't cost you more than about LE 30 (for one person) per hour.
Take a felucca cruise on the Nile for a 2 day trip to Aswan (the reverse trip is recommended, however, due to river currents).
Hire a donkey, horse, or camel to ride around Luxor's West Bank.Go to Pharaoh's Stables,just a short walk from the ferry terminal.They will take you to places where the big coaches cant go,so you can enjoy the real Egypt, with its friendly people and relaxed lifestyle.Every day is different when you see the West Bank by horse or donkey,and the guides will look after you all the way. I need to show you my travel to Luxor Las Vegas with my hubby of 23 years, Joe and our 12 year old daughter, Erika. Bring a 12 years of age to Vegas you ask ?! YES! There is a lot for households to do in Luxor Las Vegas that also Erika explained, on day 2, that there was additional to do after that Disney World and I have to agree.

We made it to the Luxor Las Vegas and our spa set was all set ... on the 19th floor we had a terrific space with a whirlpool tub and a smaller sized area off the bed room that Erika promptly claimed. Xtreme Magic Dirk Arthur Luxor Las Vegas The program was great ... and we had fantastic seats ... it featured tigers and various other huge and uncommon cats so we all actually liked that ... we went back to the hotel where Joe and Erika invested some time at the swimming pool ... I relaxed (well it IS my trip also!). (Quiznos) Erika remained in the space and enjoyed TELEVISION while Joe and I played some slots ... No I didn't succeed ... however Joe entered in to a couple of casino poker events with out our travel and came in 2nd in one and 1st in one more so he was satisfied!

Day 2 I sent out Joe and Erika down the strip to Dennys while I waited in line to acquire tickets for Mom Mia, Hoover Dam and the Titanic artifacts display at the Trop. Mamma Mia Luxor Las Vegas We had a call from our next-door neighbors who happened to be in community for a wedding celebration and so we made plans to talk to them when we returned from the Hoover Dam trip on the next day. We placed Erika to bed and Joe played some online poker and I did poorly on the slots yet made my cash last ... still its fun with all the glitz and prestige!
Luxor Las Vegas
Day 3 Thursday we got up early because I had a telephone call from some reporter ... SCF still is noted available so I get these calls occasionally ... anyway. it helped us get a move on since we needed to be at our meeting place at 8 am for the Hoover Dam VIP Tour. We were on time and actually it was a wonderful thing for Erika to see ... Agency of Recovery: Lower Colorado Region - Hoover Dam Very instructional. We likewise quit at a small museum and had lunch (included) and went to Ethel M's delicious chocolate manufacturing facility trip ... with free examples ... always an advantage. we got some ice cream there as well ... obviously it was an excellent method to spend a day in Vegas ... plus you will get to see just how the people truly lived there ... and the amount of things cost etc. When we got back to the hotel Luxor Las vegas we made plans for our Seat neighbors to choose us all up and bring us to their time share. Erika babysat their little 3 year old while the 4 adults headed out to the Hard Rock Casino for dinner ... we all had the $10 special of prime rib dinner at the Blessed 7's which was just OKAY and afterwards we went back and Erika went out with our next-door neighbors while Joe and I played at the Luxor Las Vegas. (Kid, it seems like we did a bunch of wagering !! LOL) Erika returned around 12:30 AM after showing the 3 J's the conservatory at the Bellagio and having dessert out ($9.00 Cheese Birthday cake any individual ?!?!) Anyway ... Erika made money on HER getaway! LOL
Luxor Las Vegas
Day 4 and the final day our massive breakfast at the hotel Luxor Las Vegas was comp'ed which was great and we didn't have to inspect out till twelve noon ... so around that time we dropped our luggage off with the Bell service and went over to the Tropicana to see the Titanic display. Titanic Picture Gallery Erika liked it ... and after that we headed back to our hotel Luxor Las Vegas to acquire prepared to meet the shuttle bus. I had some complimentary casino site cash I needed to make use of up so Joe took Erika to get some last souvenirs and I played about 1/2 hour of Live roulette ... and won ... which is wonderful to walk away from there with SOME money back in your pocket.

That's the trip !! ... I am sure I excluded some things ... the weather was FANTASTIC the entire time we existed ... the smoking was rather massive ... among things I dislike about casino sites ... and Erika was miffed that she couldn't "press a button" or enjoy individuals playing slots because she was under 21 ... Which's merely the idea of the ice burg. If you are thinking of a household holiday a couple of days in Vegas possibly your best bet ... I do not advise it for the really young ... possibly 8 and up for some of the cool shows ... Blue Guy Group is there and there are plenty of miracle and variety shows ... as well as secret gardens and meals galore!

Luxor (
/ˈlʌk.sɔr/ or /ˈlʊk.sɔr/; Arabic: أَلْأُقْصُر Al 'Uqṣur) is a city in Upper (southern) Egypt and the capital of Luxor Governorate. The population numbers 487,896 (2010 estimate), with an area of approximately 416 square kilometres (161 sq mi). As the site of the Ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, Luxor has frequently been characterized as the "world's greatest open air museum", as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the River Nile, lie the monuments, temples and tombs on the West Bank Necropolis, which include the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. Thousands of international tourists arrive annually to visit these monuments, contributing a large part towards the economy for the modern city.
Luxor was the ancient city of Thebes, the great capital of Egypt during the New Kingdom, and the glorious city of the god Amon-Ra. The city was regarded in the Ancient Egyptian texts as w3s.t (approximate pronunciation: "Waset"), which meant or "city of the sceptre" and also as t3 ip3t (conventionally pronounced as "ta ipet" and meaning "the shrine") and then, in a later period, the Greeks called it Thebai and the Romans after them Thebae. Thebes was also known as "the city of the 100 gates", sometimes being called "southern Heliopolis" ('Iunu-shemaa' in Ancient Egyptian), to distinguish it from the city of Iunu or Heliopolis, the main place of worship for the god Re in the north. It was also often referred to as niw.t, which simply means "city", and was one of only three cities in Egypt for which this noun was used (the other two were Memphis and Heliopolis); it was also called niw.t rst, "southern city", as the southernmost of them.

I need to show you my travel to Luxor Las Vegas with my hubby of 23 years, Joe and our 12 year old daughter, Erika. Bring a 12 years of age to Vegas you ask ?! YES! There is a lot for households to do in Luxor Las Vegas that also Erika explained, on day 2, that there was additional to do after that Disney World and I have to agree.
Luxor Las Vegas
We made it to the Luxor Las Vegas and our spa set was all set ... on the 19th floor we had a terrific space with a whirlpool tub and a smaller sized area off the bed room that Erika promptly claimed. Xtreme Magic Dirk Arthur Luxor Las Vegas The program was great ... and we had fantastic seats ... it featured tigers and various other huge and uncommon cats so we all actually liked that ... we went back to the hotel where Joe and Erika invested some time at the swimming pool ... I relaxed (well it IS my trip also!). (Quiznos) Erika remained in the space and enjoyed TELEVISION while Joe and I played some slots ... No I didn't succeed ... however Joe entered in to a couple of casino poker events with out our travel and came in 2nd in one and 1st in one more so he was satisfied!

Day 2 I sent out Joe and Erika down the strip to Dennys while I waited in line to acquire tickets for Mom Mia, Hoover Dam and the Titanic artifacts display at the Trop. Mamma Mia Luxor Las Vegas We had a call from our next-door neighbors who happened to be in community for a wedding celebration and so we made plans to talk to them when we returned from the Hoover Dam trip on the next day. We placed Erika to bed and Joe played some online poker and I did poorly on the slots yet made my cash last ... still its fun with all the glitz and prestige!

Day 3 Thursday we got up early because I had a telephone call from some reporter ... SCF still is noted available so I get these calls occasionally ... anyway. it helped us get a move on since we needed to be at our meeting place at 8 am for the Hoover Dam VIP Tour. We were on time and actually it was a wonderful thing for Erika to see ... Agency of Recovery: Lower Colorado Region - Hoover Dam Very instructional. We likewise quit at a small museum and had lunch (included) and went to Ethel M's delicious chocolate manufacturing facility trip ... with free examples ... always an advantage. we got some ice cream there as well ... obviously it was an excellent method to spend a day in Vegas ... plus you will get to see just how the people truly lived there ... and the amount of things cost etc. When we got back to the hotel Luxor Las vegas we made plans for our Seat neighbors to choose us all up and bring us to their time share. Erika babysat their little 3 year old while the 4 adults headed out to the Hard Rock Casino for dinner ... we all had the $10 special of prime rib dinner at the Blessed 7's which was just OKAY and afterwards we went back and Erika went out with our next-door neighbors while Joe and I played at the Luxor Las Vegas. (Kid, it seems like we did a bunch of wagering !! LOL) Erika returned around 12:30 AM after showing the 3 J's the conservatory at the Bellagio and having dessert out ($9.00 Cheese Birthday cake any individual ?!?!) Anyway ... Erika made money on HER getaway! LOL

Day 4 and the final day our massive breakfast at the hotel Luxor Las Vegas was comp'ed which was great and we didn't have to inspect out till twelve noon ... so around that time we dropped our luggage off with the Bell service and went over to the Tropicana to see the Titanic display. Titanic Picture Gallery Erika liked it ... and after that we headed back to our hotel Luxor Las Vegas to acquire prepared to meet the shuttle bus. I had some complimentary casino site cash I needed to make use of up so Joe took Erika to get some last souvenirs and I played about 1/2 hour of Live roulette ... and won ... which is wonderful to walk away from there with SOME money back in your pocket.

That's the trip !! ... I am sure I excluded some things ... the weather was FANTASTIC the entire time we existed ... the smoking was rather massive ... among things I dislike about casino sites ... and Erika was miffed that she couldn't "press a button" or enjoy individuals playing slots because she was under 21 ... Which's merely the idea of the ice burg. If you are thinking of a household holiday a couple of days in Vegas possibly your best bet ... I do not advise it for the really young ... possibly 8 and up for some of the cool shows ... Blue Guy Group is there and there are plenty of miracle and variety shows ... as well as secret gardens and meals galore!

For those wondering, this stage consists of each of the last levels from stages 4 to 12 (levels 4-5, 5-6, 6-7, 7-6, 8-7, 9-8, 10-7, 11-8 and 12-9) and the addition of The Wrath Of Set (level 13-10).
The overall gameplay is much better. However, the score for The Wrath Of Set (level 13-10) is lower than the one in previous run (279850 compared to 303300) because I deal against 13 lines instead of 14.
It is possible to exceed the usual 14 lines which is normally the maximum number of lines possible as shown in Dance Of The Crocodiles (level 13-8).
My opinion of this game: Luxor is a fun game but has low replay value. It only has one mode with only one difficulty. It does not have any freeplay modes (practice or endless) which players can choose any level they want to re-play (in contrast, Zuma, another shooter type game, has a gantlet mode which is similar to freeplay mode). It does not have any achievements for players to collect (though most marble popping games do not have achievements for players to collect either). The graphics are below average with no background effects (though as far as I know, most marble popping games of that era did not have much or no background effects)

The Temple of Kom Ombo is an unusual double temple in the Egyptian town of Kom Ombo. It stands by the Nile just south of Gebel el-Silsila, between Aswan and Edfu.
The building is unique because its 'double' design meant that there were courts, sanctuaries and rooms duplicated for two sets of gods. The southern half of the temple was dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, god of fertility. Meanwhile, the northern part of the temple was dedicated to the falcon god Horus the Elder.
The temple is a typical because everything is perfectly symmetrical along the main axis.
The outer enclosure wall is mud brick but the temple itself is built of local sandstone from the quarry at Gebel el-Silsila. The modern visitor enters by the gate on the eastern side of the outer enclosure wall.
Much of the temple has been destroyed by the Nile, earthquakes, and later builders who used its stones for other projects.
A few of the three-hundred crocodile mummies discovered in the vicinity are displayed in The Crocodile Museum.

For Spring Break 2012 I jumped on a plane and headed to Egypt. My first stop was a three day excursion in Luxor. In this video you will see clips and pictures from my visit to The Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple. There was no photography allowed in some areas like The Valley of the Kings. Still there was plenty to see. It was an amazing tour provided by Sina Tours. If you have plans to visit Egypt, make sure to travel with them. They provided me with all travel arrangements from the airport to the hotel, entry to all attractions, and all lunches. They pretty much took care of everything. My guide who you will see was also great. He was so personable that it felt like a trip with a good friend than a travel guide.

A hundred and thirty four columns, each with a circumference of ten metres, once supported the roof of the 'Great Column Hall' that has long since disappeared. Like a wonder of the world this hall contains each of the breathtaking twenty metre high columns. Even today, hieroglyphs cover a large part of the gigantic columns that originally stood in the darkness of the main temple and were covered by a massive ceiling. Due to its beautiful buildings and art treasures, the temple area of Karnak is a much-prized and unique jewel of ancient Egyptian history and culture.

Luxor is a city in Upper (southern) Egypt and the capital of Luxor Governorate. The population numbers 487,896 (2010 estimate), with an area of approximately 416 square kilometres (161 sq mi). As the site of the Ancient Egyptian city of Thebes, Luxor has frequently been characterized as the "world's greatest open air museum", as the ruins of the temple complexes at Karnak and Luxor stand within the modern city. Immediately opposite, across the River Nile, lie the monuments, temples and tombs on the West Bank Necropolis, which include the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. Thousands of tourists from all around the world arrive annually to visit these monuments, contributing a large part towards the economy for the modern city.

It was also often referred to as niw.t, which simply means "city", and was one of only three cities in Egypt for which this noun was used (the other two were Memphis and Heliopolis); it was also called niw.t rst, "southern city", as the southernmost of them.
The importance of the city started as early as the 11th Dynasty, when the town grew into a thriving city, renowned for its high social status and luxury, but also as a center for wisdom, art, religious and political supremacy. Montuhotep II who united Egypt after the troubles of the first intermediate period brought stability to the lands as the city grew in stature. The Pharaohs of the New Kingdom in their expeditions to Kush, in today's northern Sudan, and to the lands of Canaan, Phoenicia and Syria saw the city accumulate great wealth and rose to prominence, even on a world scale. Thebes played a major role in expelling the invading forces of the Hyksos from Upper Egypt, and from the time of the 18th Dynasty through to the 20th Dynasty, the city had risen as the major political, religious and military capital of Ancient Egypt.
The city attracted peoples such as the Babylonians, the Mitanni, the Hittites of Anatolia (modern-day Turkey), the Canaanites of Ugarit, the Phoenicians of Byblos and Tyre, the Minoans from the island of Crete. A Hittite prince from Anatolia even came to marry with the widow of Tutankhamun, Ankhesenamun. The political and military importance of the city, however, faded during the Late Period, with Thebes being replaced as political capital by several cities in Northern Egypt, such as Bubastis, Sais and finally Alexandria.
However, as the city of the god Amon-Ra, Thebes remained the religious capital of Egypt until the Greek period. The main god of the city was Amon, who was worshipped together with his wife, the Goddess Mut, and their son Khonsu, the God of the moon. With the rise of Thebes as the foremost city of Egypt, the local god Amon rose in importance as well and became linked to the sun god Ra, thus creating the new 'king of gods' Amon-Ra. His great temple, at Karnak just north of Thebes, was the most important temple of Egypt right until the end of antiquity.
Later, the city was attacked by Assyrian emperor Assurbanipal who installed the Libyan prince on the throne, Psammetichus. The city of Thebes was in ruins and fell in significance. However, Alexander the Great did arrive at the temple of Amun, where the statue of the god was transferred from Karnak during the Opet Festival, the great religious feast. The grandeur of Thebes would still remain a site of spirituality, and attracted numerous Christian monks in the Roman Empire who established monasteries amidst several ancient monuments including the temple of Hatshepsut, now called Deir el-Bahri ("the northern monastery").

I can help you skip the lines, skip the bad spots, basically cut the fat. Criss Angel has created a show on being vague and awfully good looking. He brought his TV magic to the live stage and teaming up with Vegas concert [] created the show called Believe, which seams to be a home run whenever it was pitched. But terrible reviews and just bad Luxor casino remodel, fallowed by the their nightclub product LAX undergoing massive management change due to IRS investigations lead to the demise of the couple years ago. A new bar called the Civil Row which was formally noir bar just opened up to add little more live. Cathouse is busy remodeling and redesigning their nightclubs slash restaurant concept. It's not bad, it's not grate. They do after-hours and they often do speak-easy during a day. There is bodies which is a show that grossly enough shows you what a body looks like without a skin on it and in various forms and shows you diseases and it's truly gross. And there is a restaurant called Tacos and Tequilas also called TNT which is probably their trendiest. probably the most fun, it's kinda a high energy Mexican restaurant. It's usually a lo of there, which is kind of bizarre and I don't know why, but every single time I go there there's a ton of older ladies there hitting on the other guys. So if you are into that, amazingly enough, they've found the niche.
