The X-rated BRITS: Tearful
Adele can barely contain herself after winning four gongs,
Rihanna twerks up a storm and Perrie writhes around in hotpants in one of the raunchiest awards shows ever.
Last year's BRITs included the infamous
Madonna cape tumble, but if the
2015 ceremony was about the spills, the
2016 BRIT Awards were full of thrills.
Viewers were treated to one of the raciest awards ceremonies to date as Rihanna twerked up against her ex-boyfriend
Drake, tearful Adele swore live on air forcing the hosts to apologise and promptly blame the 'bleep guy',
Little Mix put on an incredibly raunchy dance performance and event hosts
Ant and Dec emerged in drag.
While Adele might have paved the way in the winners' category, taking home a whopping four trophies, it was undoubtedly Rihanna's raunchy performance and seductive dance moves that stole the show at
London's O2 Arena on Wednesday night.
Rihanna reunited with her ex - who she has dated on and off for the past few years - as they reunited to perform their new single
Work, which is already setting the charts alight.
Proving their chemistry is just as sizzling as ever, the pair really got into their groove as they gyrated against one another in moves that were sure to raise a few eyebrows.
Rihanna, 28, looked incredible in a white crop top which showed off her toned abs as she bounded onto the stage.
She teamed the sexy number with a pair of white trousers which had fringed panels running throughout.
Drake, 29, complemented her look dressed in an all white tracksuit which had a gold stripe running down the trouser leg. He bowed down to his former lover as she flashed a hint of her winged tattoo which sits on her breastplate.
Rihanna teased her steamy music video for Work this past Friday, giving fans a glimpse at her sexy dance moves as she twerked over ex Drake.
Drake and Rihanna - who have made music together before - have been linked from
2010 until 2014, and their relationship was reportedly the reason for the beef between Drake and
Chris Brown which even ended in violence.
And they certainly make beautiful music together as Work is the first single off Rihanna’s platinum
album ANTI and the single is already number one on the
Billboard Hot 100 chart.
'Even in dire circumstances, when he wrote to tell me the bad news about his cancer, he joked, "
I've got my cheekbones back!" He was the sweetest soul ever. We love you and we thank you.'
The biggest event of the year in the
British music industry's calendar is being hosted for the last time by Ant and Dec, after they revealed last week that they will be stepping down as its presenters: this will be their third time hosting, as they also presented in 2015 and
2001.
The duo brought their unique brand of giddy and cheeky hosting to the famously raucous show.
The BRITs saved the best until last since superstar Adele closed the show with nostalgic ballad
When We Were Young.
It marked the
Hello singer's first time performing at the BRITs since
2012, when she roused the audience - and the nation - with a haunting rendition of her mega-hit
Someone Like You.
