Space Documentary - Virgin Galactic Space Tourism - Space & Discovery Documentary Channel.
Virgin Galactic is a spaceflight company within the British Virgin Group. It is developing commercial spacecraft and aims to provide suborbital spaceflights to space tourists, suborbital launches for space science missions, and orbital launches of small satellites. Further in the future, Virgin Galactic plans to provide orbital human spaceflights as well. The company also hopes to develop an orbital launch vehicle. SpaceShipTwo, Virgin Galactic's suborbital spacecraft, is air launched from beneath a carrier aeroplane known as White Knight Two.
Virgin Galactic's founder, Sir Richard Branson, had initially suggested that he hoped to see a maiden flight by the end of 2009, but this date has been delayed on a number of occasions, most recently by the October 2014 in-flight loss of SpaceShipTwo.

Space tourism is space travel for recreational, leisure or business purposes. A number of startup companies have sprung up in recent years, hoping to create a space tourism industry. Orbital space tourism opportunities have been limited and expensive, with only the Russian Space Agency providing transport to date.
The publicized price for flights brokered by Space Adventures to the International Space Station aboard a Russian Soyuz spacecraft have been US$ 20–35 million, during the period 2001–2009. Some space tourists have signed contracts with third parties to conduct certain research activities while in orbit.
Russia halted orbital space tourism in 2010 due to the increase in the International Space Station crew size, using the seats for expedition crews that would be sold to paying spaceflight participants. However, tourist flights are tentatively planned to resume in 2013, when the number of single-use three-person Soyuz launches could rise to five a year.
As an alternative term to "tourism", some organizations such as the Commercial Spaceflight Federation use the term "personal spaceflight." Citizens in Space uses the term "citizen space exploration."

Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson (born 18 July 1950) is an English business magnate, best known for his Virgin Group of more than 400 companies.
His first business venture was a magazine called Student at the age of 16. In 1970, he set up an audio record mail-order business. In 1972, he opened a chain of record stores, Virgin Records, later known as Virgin Megastores. Branson's Virgin brand grew rapidly during the 1980s, as he set up Virgin Atlantic Airways and expanded the Virgin Records music label.
Branson is the 4th richest citizen of the United Kingdom, according to the Forbes 2011 list of billionaires, with an estimated net worth of US$4.2 billion.
Branson was born in Blackheath, London, the son and eldest child of barrister Edward James Branson (10 March 1918 – 19 March 2011) and Eve Huntley Branson (née Flindt). His grandfather, the Right Honourable Sir George Arthur Harwin Branson, was a judge of the High Court of Justice and a Privy Councillor. Branson was educated at Scaitcliffe School (now Bishopsgate School) until the age of thirteen. He then attended Stowe School until the age of sixteen. Branson has dyslexia and had poor academic performance as a student, but later discovered his ability to connect with others.

TUCSON, ARIZONA — World View Enterprises is offering to send passengers to an altitude of 100,000 feet above the ground in a space capsule hauled up by a giant balloon for a lofty sum of $75,000, according to the enterprise's website.
Once fully inflated with helium, the balloon will expand to about the size of a football stadium. The capsule will be equipped with large windows and will be able to carry up to six passengers and two crewmen. The capsule is equipped with wifi for the journey into space. It even has a bar.
The ascend into the stratosphere will take roughly 90 minutes to two hours and will cruise for another two hours before descending. The balloon will separate from the capsule at 50,000 feet above ground before the parawing glides the capsule to the landing site. The balloon will be recovered once it falls back to earth to be recycled. The total flight time will be five to six hours.
On October 24, 2015, World View Enterprises launched a successful test flight with a 1,000-pound replica of the capsule. World View is now ready to begin a full-scale manned flight in mid-July of 2017 and hopes to bring the space tour to life at the end of the same year, World View chief technology officer Taber MacCallum said.
