Sonora (Spanish pronunciation: [so̞ˈno̞ɾa]), officially Free and Sovereign State of Sonora (Spanish: Estado Libre y Soberano de Sonora), is one of the 31 states which, with the Federal District, comprise the 32 Federal Entities of Mexico. It is divided into 72 municipalities; the capital city is Hermosillo. Sonora is located in Northwest Mexico, bordered by the states of Chihuahua to the east, Baja California to the northwest and Sinaloa to the south. To the north, it shares the U.S.–Mexico border with the states of Arizona and New Mexico, and on the west has a significant share of the coastline of the Gulf of California.
Sonora's natural geography is divided into three parts: the Sierra Madre Occidental in the east of the state; plains and rolling hills in the center; and the coast on the Gulf of California. It is primarily arid or semi-arid deserts and grasslands, with only the highest elevations having sufficient rainfall to support other types of vegetation.
Sonora is home to eight indigenous peoples, including the Mayo, the Yaqui and the Seri. It has been economically important for its agriculture, livestock (especially beef) and mining since the colonial period, and for its status as a border state since the Mexican–American War. After the Gadsden Purchase, Sonora lost more than a quarter of its territory. From the 20th century to the present, industry, tourism and agribusiness have dominated the economy, attracting migration from other parts of Mexico.

Plot: SIREN is a film noir about adultery, betrayal, greed, and murder. NED, a dying man, tells the tale in the past tense through voice-over. The story unfolds as Ned, a bank employee, sees pictures of his woman CHARLIE having sexual relations with his boss. KANESWORTH, the private investigator who took the photos, taunts him. In a fit of rage, Ned bludgeons the private eye dead. Ned quickly confronts Charlie, a manipulative femme fatale who uses sex as a bargaining chip. She convinces Ned to disregard her dalliance and persuades him to rob his bank with her instead. They rob the bank and kill his boss in the process. The couple's next step to paradise is to kill off Ned's homely and unsuspecting wife SONORA. Charlie hatches a plan to poison her at the lounge where she sings. After Ned poisons Sonora, Charlie arrives on the scene with the intention of killing Ned and running off with the loot. Ned has similar designs, which is to kill Charlie. Unbeknownst to Ned, Sonora rises from the floor gun in hand. Charlie and Sonora proceed to shoot Ned. Ned's wife and mistress are lovers who planned this outcome all along using Ned as their unwitting accomplice. As Charlie professes her love for Sonora, Sonora kills her. Ned, bleeding badly from his wounds, accepts his fate and tells Sonora the truth; she drank real poison! Sonora does not believe him and saunters away from the scene, victorious! While Ned lights his final cigarette and closes his narration, Sonora walks confidently into the night. However, after a few steps, she drops the bag of money, gasps for air, and collapses. The moonlight shines on her corpse. The bag of money left in the middle of the dark street.

The Sonoran Desert is a North American desert which covers large parts of the Southwestern United States in Arizona and California, and of Northwestern Mexico in Sonora, Baja California and Baja California Sur. It is the hottest desert in North America, with an area of 280,000 square kilometers (110,000 sq mi). The western portion of the United States–Mexico border passes through the Sonoran Desert.
The largest city in the Sonoran Desert is Phoenix, Arizona, with a 2013 metropolitan population of about 4.3 million.
Humans have been living in this desert for thousands of years.

Millions of years ago, erosion and the relentless power of the Colorado River created this magnificent landscape and even today the river continues to force its way through the rock, sand and mud of the Grand Canyon. The first to discover the canyons were the Anasazi Indians who settled in the region around a thousand years ago. They hunted for food and also cultivated corn, pumpkins and beans in many of the neighbouring valleys and even today a small Indian tribe lives in a nearby canyon. For many years Monument Valley and its distinctive mesas in the northern part of Arizona have become one of the most famous natural landmarks in the United States. The glowing landscape owed its original fame to the American film industry and several famous western classics were filmed amid its striking scenery. The splendour of the Mesa Verde, or ‘Green Table’, is well described by its name. The seemingly endless landscape reveals a broad and idyllic plain. Park Point is the highest vantage point, two thousand six hundred metres above sea level. The plateau is rich with forest and game and the Mesa’s oldest archaeological discoveries date back around twelve thousand years. Zion National Park attained its present day dimensions by 1939 and since then an increasing number of visitors have witnessed its magnificent rock formations. Despite, by American standards, its relatively small dimensions of six hundred square kilometres, the region consists of numerous diverse vegetation zones. Although the region’s flora is as diverse as the terrain upon which it grows, millions of years ago the area was a vast desert. The southern part of the Joshua Tree National Park is influenced by the hot and arid Sonora Desert. In contrast, in the higher altitudes of the north is the cooler Mojave Desert. In spring various desert flowers begin to blossom and the otherwise sandy brown scenery is transformed into a colourful and shining ocean of floral splendour.

A lucid dream is any dream in which one is aware that one is dreaming. In relation to this phenomenon, Greek philosopher Aristotle observed: "often when one is asleep, there is something in consciousness which declares that what then presents itself is but a dream". In a lucid dream, the dreamer has greater chances to exert some degree of control over their participation within the dream or be able to manipulate their imaginary experiences in the dream environment. Lucid dreams can be realistic and vivid. It is shown that there are higher amounts of beta-1 frequency band (13–19 Hz) brain wave activity experienced by lucid dreamers, hence there is an increased amount of activity in the parietal lobes making lucid dreaming a conscious process

Yosemite National Park covers nearly 1,200 square miles of mountainous terrain in the Sierra Nevada of California. From high peaks and deep canyons to ancient forests and quiet meadows, the diversity of the world is on display here. At Yosemite you can see the tranquillity of the High Sierra, the power of glaciers, giant sequoia groves, thundering waterfalls, clear streams and much more. Designated a World Heritage Site in 1984, Yosemite is also home to hundreds of wildlife and plant species. Two Wild & Scenic Rivers, the Tuolumne and Merced rivers, begin in the park and flow west to the Central Valley. Visitors experience the park's 800 miles of hiking trails and 282 miles of road.
Visitors fall in love with the park's many waterfalls, specifically 2,425-foot Yosemite Falls that ranks as the tallest in North America, flowing down into the scenic Valley meadows. Hikers take notice of the enormous granite mountains from the 8,842-foot Half Dome to the 13,114-foot Mt. Lyell-Yosemite's tallest peak. Glaciers, which John Muir sought out in California as well as Alaska, add into the mix with the Maclure and Lyell still intact.

Animals: Yosemite supports more than 400 species of vertebrates, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. Wildlife species typically found include mule deer, black bear, bobcat, gray fox, mountain kingsnake, Gilbert's skink, white-headed woodpecker, brown creeper, spotted owl, and a wide variety of bat species. Black bears in Yosemite are active both day and night. Most bears that rely on natural food sources are active during the day. However, those that get food from people are often active at night, when they can quietly sneak around and grab unattended food.
Plants: Move up or down in elevation and feel as though you are in another park. Vegetation changes from oak woodlands to chaparral scrublands to lower montane to upper montane to subalpine to alpine. Those who step into the alpine zone can see krummholz whitebark pines and perhaps a western juniper or mountain hemlock. Scientists study many individual plants, including the black oak, to understand its future challenges.
TRAVEL & TOURISM
Yosemite is open all year, though some areas of the park are inaccessible by car from approximately November through May due to snow.
Distances and Driving Times From: San Francisco/Bay area (195 mi, 4-5 hours); Sacramento (176 mi, 4 hours); Reno & Lake Tahoe (June through October, conditions permitting, 218 mi, 5 hours/All year, 315 mi, 8 hours); Los Angeles area (313 mi, 6 hours); San Diego area (441 mi, 8 hours); Las Vegas (June through October, conditions permitting, 642 km, 8 hours / November through May, 797 km, 8-10 hours)
Drivers can enter Yosemite National Park by several routes:
From the West and Most Scenic: CA Hwy 140
This route is by far the most scenic drive into Yosemite National Park and the best way to go if you're visiting for the first time. It's open most of the time and passes through the towns of Mariposa and Fish Camp. It's also a popular route for people driving to Yosemite from the San Jose area.
From the West: CA Hwy 120
Open most any time, this route goes through Oakdale and Groveland and is often used by visitors from the San Francisco Bay area and northern California. It passes through fruit and almond orchards, small agricultural towns, fruit stands and ranches in the rolling foothills before ascending sharply up the Priest Grade to Big Oak Flat and the old gold mining town of Groveland.
From the South: CA Hwy 41
From US Hwy 99 at Fresno, Hwy 41 runs north and west toward Yosemite's South Entrance, which takes you through the towns of Oakhurst and Fish Camp and into the park near the Mariposa Grove of giant sequoias and Wawona.
From the East: CA Hwy 120 and Tioga Pass

From the East: Other Mountain Passes
Other mountain passes that can get you across the Sierras near Yosemite include the Sonora Pass (CA Hwy 108), Monitor Pass (CA Hwy 89) and Ebbetts Pass (CA Hwy 4). Snow may also close these routes in winter, but they are sometimes open when Tioga Pass is still snow-clogged.

I'm hanging out here at Jafrum, home of the motorcycle gear experts, and today we're taking a quick look at a few motorcycle jacket values that have stood the test of time, and a couple new models. All of them are incredible jackets for the money and all of them available at Jafrum.com.
These are a few jackets that I've found to be packed with quality and features, but aren't going to break the bank; a Bang for Your Buck Buying Guide if you will. The first jacket I want to show you is what I like to call a kitchen sink jacket. The Tour Master Sonora Air is a three quarter length, three layer, all season bargain that has every feature you could want other than a kitchen sink. It's like an intake Air on steroids. This mesh shelled jacket comes in a multitude of sizes including talls, and three color ways including all black, this gunmetal and black, and a high viz yellow version. The closure features a lightweight yet heavy duty nylon two way zipper with a hook and loop retainer, and the collar has a ridge of soft fabric around the edge to eliminate irritation. There are four pockets on the front including two on the sternum and two down near the waist. The jacket is highly adjustable with hook and loop straps at the waist and snap style stretchy adjusters on the sleeves. There is high viz piping running down the edges on the front with more reflective piping and panels on the sleeves and across the back. The Sonora is equipped with CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows with a foam pad in the back... Unzipping the jacket exposes the real value. The mesh shell of the Sonora hides a removable waterproof liner and a removable quilted thermal liner inside the waterproof one. Both liners are equipped with pockets so you have ample storage capacity no matter which liner or liners you are using. The two liners have the same zipper dimensions so you can use the shell with either liner, making this one of the most versatile jackets you can buy.
The next jacket in our Bang for The Buck Lineup is the Scorpion Tornado. The Tornado is actually no longer a part of Scorpion's current lineup. We like this jacket so much that when we found out Scorpion was discontinuing it, we bought as many as we could. We have them in good supply and we're passing the savings on to you. The tornado is available in sizes small thru 2x with accent colors of white, blue, and red. The shell of the Tornado is constructed using a 600 denier water resistant nylon with ballistic polyester panels in the shoulders and arms. The main closure features a lightweight nylon zipper with an ergonomic pull tab. Adjustability is plentiful and can be found in the form of these hook and loop adjusters at the waist and on the sleeves. The front features two zippered vents to keep you cool and two hand warmer pockets for added storage. The back of the jacket features two more zippered vents for drawing hot air out of the jacket as well as high vis panels in the shoulders and piping across the back. Unzipping the jacket reveals a full sleeve quilted thermal liner with a moisture absorbent panel in the pack and a slit for accessing the interior pocket of the shell. Hey everyone, sorry for the lack of updated lately, I have been very busy in the last few weeks, and I couldn't find the time to complete my new sheet.
But today, I finally managed to complete it! Here's my piano cover of Unravel - the opening song of Tokyo Ghoul!
There are countless piano covers of Unravel on youtube already, but only very few of them are full versions and until today, I couldn't find a piano sheet of the full version yet - that's why I decided to make a full piano cover. I might be a bit late to the party, but better late than never.
Anyway, unravel.
I am pretty sure it's been a while since I made a transcription with such a high difficulty level. It belongs to my top 3 most difficult transcriptions I ever made, right after "My Dearest" and "Kuusou Mesorogiwi", mainly because of the very fast speed and the fast jumps in the left hand.
This piece also requires very good hand coordination, because there are many complicated rhythms in this sheet.
It took me longer than usual to learn this piece, but I think it's worth the effort, especially the "guitar-riffs" in the beginning sounds great on the grand piano.
Another fun fact: This is one of my few transcriptions, which is 99,9% completely true to the original song. I decided to not add any 'original material' because the song is amazing enough on its own.
Well then, that would be everything from me!
My next upload will be Kancolle related!
