Nzimande repeated free tertiary education is for the poor
Higher Education Minister Blade Nzimande has repeated government's stance that free tertiary education is for the poor.
Those who can afford it, will have to pay. He briefed Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Higher Education. Free education will cost an additional 37 billion rand between now and 2019.
