S.i.2.G. were approached to create an animated B2B video for a UK railway company. This video is a shorter and more entertaining version of the final piece, a sort of Director's Cut, if you will. Their final video was over five minutes in duration and contained lots of internal company information, which I've removed from this one.

S.i.2.G. were approached to create an animated B2B video for a UK railway company. This video is a shorter and more entertaining version of the final piece, a sort of Director's Cut, if you will. Their final video was over five minutes in duration and contained lots of internal company information, which I've removed from this one.
Using a colour scheme from the company's branding and an artistic license I created 3D CGI models of parts of the railway infrastructure and a Class 375 Electrostar EMU train, which they actually run on their network. The animated trains were interspersed between each informative section, in order to liven-up and add breathing space.
The video was on a fast turnaround and needed to be completed within three weeks. We used a combination of the Adobe Creative Suite for editing and sound mixing and Autodesk 3D Studio Max from the 3D animation. The models were low poly and had basic Mental Ray textures with no UV coordinates or texture maps, as there simply wasn't enough time. This helped keep render times and costs to a minimum without compromising the stylish look.

From the temporary shutdown of ThePirateBay.org and Wikileaks.org at the DNS level to the shutdown of cell phone communications to prevent protests in Egypt and San Francisco, corporate communications infrastructures are obsolete for resistant communities. In contrast, people in resistance are imagining new post-digital futures. My work on the Transborder Immigrant Tool led me to Local Autonomy Networks (Autonets), which is being developed in collaboration with community based organizations in Detroit, Los Angeles and Bogotá, Colombia. Digital technology is the basis for an epistemology often referred to as "the digital" which is imbricated with western logics. To work towards post-digital networks is to participate in a decolonization of technology and to imagine possibilities that both precede and follow the digital. My intervention is to make a trans of color critique, taking inspiration from the queer of color critique, that rejects the binary logic of the digital and looks to oppressed communities for alternative logics.

She talks about Ecobank’s vision, which is to build a world class banking institution, to contribute to the development of Africa and also the financial integration of Africa.
According Rev Mrs Sappor, the success story of Ecobank Ghana, started with one branch, now the banks Head Office.
Today it’s the largest bank in Ghana with over 79 branches which is a feather in the cup of the bank. We have 195 ATM’s across, we have our VISA cards that can be used anywhere she shares.
She believes that Ecobank’s uniqueness has been due to the culture of the bank imbibed in its over 14000 workers across Africa.
“It’s the family, where everybody is important. We all are very comfortable and customers are put at the top being the most important thing for us”, she posited. Adding that the Bank's mission is to provide customers with services that are convenient, accessible, reliable and easy to use. It’s all about convenient; it’s all about making sure the customer gets what he or she wants and getting it at the right time”.
Ecobank also focuses on areas such as health, education, helping the under privileged and also job creation.

Hans is Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of CSR Europe and a regular speaker at national and international conferences.
