Plot: An all-boys group from Allahabad's St. Joseph's College is thrilled when a new-comer from Mumbai, Vaishnavi, joins them. Most of the students' time is spent in college, then in coaching classes, and finally they return home to stern parents who want them to complete their homework and ensure they secure good marks and become doctors, engineers, and IAS officers. Some even go to the extent of forcing their children to take up Science instead of Arts - killing whatever talent and initiative their children may have. Unable to handle the pressure as well as convince his parents to let him take arts - Navneet Singh kills himself. Devastated by his death, his friends approach Advocate Sanjay to sue not only Navneet's but also their respective parents. The Police refuse to register a complaint, and Sanjay files this matter in a Trial Court naming the parents as well as the Government of India as defendants. Many other students approach him and add themselves as plaintiffs- bringing the total to over one Lakh nine thousand. The argument from the Government is that this is a personal issue, strongly supported by parents who assert that they only want a better future for their children. With the media and politicians taking an interest in this scenario - the debate taking place is how will an already overburdened and openly corrupt judicial system - that has matters pending for decades - will address - leave alone resolve - this issue within the students' lifetime.

This technique involved bowlers bowling the ball directly at the batsman's body, and resulted in many of the Australian team receiving numerous bruises and injuries, with batsman Bert Oldfield sustaining a cracked skull. The series generated much anger and resentment towards the English team within Australia and seriously damaged Anglo-Australian cricketing relations at the time.

Australian Selector (Aubrey): People are reluctant to part with their money, and they certainly won't do so, if they can't watch Bradman.::Australian Selector (Robertson): The game is more important than the individual. The old woman and her daughter hear these news and send Anya during a terrible snowstorm into the woods to collect the flowers. In the woods, Anya meets the Spirits of the Twelve Months and in reward for her kindness and good nature, the Spirit of April proposes helping the girl by presenting her with one hour of spring during which she can pick the flowers and return home safely. When this is done, the Spirit of January makes the girl promise that she will never tell anyone about this encounter, and the Spirit of April gives her one more gift, a magic ring that will summon the spirits' help should she ever be in trouble. Upon returning home, Anya is thanked by the queen for bringing her the flowers, but the young queen, who is no more than another orphaned girl of Anya's age, insists on knowing where the flowers came from. Anya then struggles between keeping her promise to the spirits or holding on to her own life.

Prime Minister's Question Time
Question Time in the House of Commons is an opportunity for MPs to question government ministers about matters for which they are responsible.
Prime Minister's Question Time, also referred to as PMQs, takes place every Wednesday that the House of Commons is sitting and gives MPs the chance to put questions to the Prime Minister.
In most cases, the session starts with a routine 'open question' from an MP about the Prime Minister's engagements. MPs can then ask supplementary questions on any subject, often one of current political significance.
Opposition MPs follow up on this or another topic, usually led by the Leader of the Opposition, Harriet Harman. Usually, she is the only MP allowed to come back with further questions.

A radio news presenter has suffered an on-air blunder she will never forget after accidentally announcing the death of Prime Minister David Cameron at the top of a bulletin following the death of iconic singer David Bowie.
Fiona Winchester was reading the 8.30am bulletin on British station Hearth FM when she mistakenly confused the names.
“David Cameron has died,” Winchester says before hastily backtracking to correct her error.
Bowie, 69, died on Monday following a secret 18-month battle with cancer.
Mr Cameron has paid tribute to the British artist, describing him as a pop genius and “master of reinvention who kept getting it right”.
Winchester has not publicly commented on her bumble, but listeners online haven’t let it slip by.
“I guess Fiona Winchester is having one of those Monday mornings,” one person wrote on Twitter.

An article about former prime minister Indira Gandhi's rule, published on the official website of Bihar government, has left the Congress red-faced after it described her reign worst than British in India. The write-up, while mentioning about contribution of Jay Prakash Narayan to modern Indian history, says, "It was he who steadfastly and staunchly opposed the autocratic rule of Indira Gandhi and her younger son, Sanjay Gandhi." "Fearing people's reaction to his (JP's) opposition, Indira Gandhi had him arrested on the eve of declaring National Emergency beginning June 26, 1975. He was put in the Tihar Jail, located near Delhi, where notorious criminals are jailed."

New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Reacting to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s decision to set up a joint investigation team to investigate the links of the Pathankot air base attackers with Pakistan, Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar has put the onus on the Indian Government to take the next step. Aiyar said if this is true then it is the first step but it is not the last step because we have been through this before. He added that a special court had also been set up at the time of 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Srikant Sharma lauded Islamabad’s initiative, saying the entire nation is upset over the Pathankot attack.
