http://www.bbc.co.uk/bbctrust/who_we_are/trustees/code_of_practice.html
Pay and time commitment
Trustees' fees are set by the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. The Chairman's fee is set at £110,000 a year and the Vice Chairman's at £77,005 a year. Fees for the Trustees for the UK nations are set at £41,070 a year and for other Trustees at £35,935 a year. The Chairman is expected to spend a minimum of 3-4 days a week on Trust business, and the Vice Chairman a minimum of 2.5 days. Other Trustees are expected to spend a minimum of 2 days a week on Trust business.
Non-infringing uses Article 10 of the Berne Convention mandates that national laws provide for limitations to copyright, so that copyright protection does not extend to certain kinds of uses that fall under what the treaty calls "fair practice," including but not limited to minimal quotations used in journalism and education.[47] The laws implementing these limitations and exceptions for uses that would otherwise be infringing broadly fall into the categories of either fair use or fair dealing. In common law systems, these fair practice statutes typically enshrine principles underlying many earlier judicial precedents, and are considered essential to freedom of speech.[
Copyright Disclaimer Under Section 107 of the Copyright Act 1976, allowance is made for fair use for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, and research. Fair use is a use permitted by copyright statute that might otherwise be infringing. Non-profit, educational or personal use tips the balance in favor of fair use.

King Abdullah of Jordan addresses the European Parliament today – the same Jordan found by Amnesty International to use torture to get confessions and execute people after unfair trials. King Abdullah was also linked to 3 HSBC Swiss accounts containing tens of millions. The BBC backs his anti-Syrian rhetoric, but what could the reason be? Chair of the BBC Trust, Rona Fairhead, will address the Public Accounts Committee at 3:15 today, over her role on the board of HSBC. Jeremy Heywood, who oversaw the smashing up of computers at the Guardian, is also giving evidence at a committee in Parliament today – perhaps he could give her some help on how to cover her tracks?

BBC Trust has ignored so far my philosophy to change the rap ideology that is full of violent messages and hatred.
Bbc Trust told me on the phone during October 2015 that they will read and respond to my Open Letter that was written for them and that was posted on WordPress and sent to them via post.
But BBC Trust on November 2015 showed clearly that they are hypocrites and that they are what I call 'Sloth-ism' that means to spread evil and violence and pretend to be the good the just and the wise. Because BBC Trust told me that we neither did read the Open Letter nor do we want to read it. They gave up responsibility of being at the Top of BBC and thus blessed BBC 1Xtra for spreading terror.
God bless the terror that they spread and their evil power. Long lives BBC Trust, Long Leaves Hypocrisy.

VIOLENCE
You will have to go deep into man. From where comes this violence? From where comes this exploitation? From where come all these ego-trips? From where? They all come from unconsciousness. Man lives asleep, man lives mechanically. That mechanism has to be broken, man has to be re-done. That is the religious revolution that has not been tried.
A totally different attitude is needed: the attitude of love. Christ brings love to the world. He destroys law, the very basis of it. That was his crime; that's why he was crucified -- because he was destroying the whole basis of this criminal society; he was destroying the whole foundation rock of this criminal world, the world of wars, and violence, and aggression. He gave a totally new foundation stone.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Fairhead’s statement comes amid a government review of the Royal Charter of the BBC, which governs the broadcaster and its activity. The review takes place every 10 years, with the current charter due to expire at the end of 2016.
"The public see a need for independent scrutiny and regulation, but they want this done by a separate body representing license fee payers, not by politicians," the chair of the BBC Trust was quoted as saying by The Independent.
Fairhead noted that the broadcaster’s independence had needed protection from the government’s involvement for decades amid "a growing tendency" for select committees to ask BBC executives about certain editorial decisions in detail.
"We believe that this charter review gives us a chance to codify the relationship between the BBC and the state, and the BBC and its public, so that the terms of engagement are clear, the processes transparent, and the BBC can be seen to be both accountable and independent," Fairhead said.
She said the broadcaster was facing tighter and tighter funding constraints and great external challenges.
Fairhead stressed that the public could play a vital role in deciding the future of the BBC, encouraging people to use any opportunity to have their voice heard "loud and clear."
In July, UK Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne pushed the cost of providing free television licenses to over-75s, at an estimated cost of $1 billion, onto the broadcaster as part of a broader plan to cut budget spending on benefits by almost $19-billion.
The BBC agreed to absorb the cost of free TV licenses for people over 75, which will equal almost one fifth of the annual revenue generated through license fees. The BBC derives much of its funding from license fees, paid by every television owner in the United Kingdom.

Officials: Iran nuclear deal fuels Middle East arms race, boosts Russia’s influence
The newly announced Iran nuclear deal and the negotiations leading up to it already are fueling an all-but-declared nuclear arms race in the Middle East, according to current and former government officials who say the situation also creates an opening for Russia to exert more influence in the region.
"We have given Iran the path it has been seeking for almost 35 years. The other states in the region are not going to sit idly by, which is why in effect the nuclear arms race is already underway," former U.N. Ambassador and Fox News contributor John Bolton said, adding that Iran and other nations have used civilian nuclear energy programs as cover for covert enrichment programs.
The Obama administration announced the deal along with other world powers early Tuesday morning. The terms call for suspending and curbing components of Iran's nuclear program in exchange for valuable sanctions relief.

Of all the wonders of the human body, there's one more mysterious than any other. Blood: five precious litres that keep us alive. Yet how much do we really know about this sticky red substance and its mysterious, life-giving force?
Michael Mosley gives up a fifth of his own blood to perform six bold experiments. From starving it of oxygen to injecting it with snake venom, Michael reveals the extraordinary abilities of blood to adapt and keep us alive. Using specialist photography, the programme reveals the beauty in a single drop. Michael even discovers how it tastes when, in a television first, he prepares a black pudding with his own blood.

Alex Riley thinks he's immune to brands. When it comes to fashion, technology and food brands he just goes for the cheapest and what works for him. He's convinced he's not seduced by the advertising, celebrity endorsements and hype which surrounds the big global brands. So how did that pair of Adidas trainers get in his wardrobe? And how did that can of Heinz Baked Beans make it into his shopping trolley? And why does he have a Nokia mobile phone in his pocket rather than any other make?
With the help of marketeers, brain scientists and exclusive access to the world of the superbrands Alex sets out to find out why we buy them, trust them, even idolise them. Programme created by the BBC
