Templeton Jr. Christopher Long President Christopher Long is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and is a graduate of George Mason University. Prior to rejoining ISI in April 2011, he served as Managing Director of a global investment bank and asset management firm, as Chief Executive Officer and co-owner of hedge fund advisor Endowment Capital Group, L.P., and Chief Operating Officer of Friess Associates, LLC, and Treasurer of its Brandywine Funds. Mr. Long has served on a number of boards, including the Library of Congress Trust Fund, Philadelphia Society, Council for National Policy, Wilmington Renaissance Corporation, Saint Edmond’s Academy, and Marion T. Academy Charter School. Mr. Long resides in Greenville, Delaware, with his wife, Sheila, and their children.	Nick Reid Nick Reid Executive Vice President Nick Reid Executive Vice President Nick Reid is Executive Vice President for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. He is a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University and also holds a certificate in management from Georgetown University. Prior to joining ISI, Nick was the Director of Major Gifts at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., where he held several other positions, including Deputy Director of U.S. Senate Relations and State Relations Project Coordinator. Nick also served for two years as press secretary to Congressman Jim Ryun (R-KS) and was the 2006 GOP candidate for the U.S. Congress in Wisconsin’s Seventh Congressional District. Nick is an ordained subdeacon in the Orthodox Church, and he and his wife, Elizabeth, reside in Wilmington, Delaware, with their five children.	Jeffrey Nelson Jeffrey Nelson Senior Vice President, Educational Program Journals John Lukacs, Rekindling the Lamps of Civilization Jeffrey Nelson Senior Vice President, Educational Program Jeff Nelson is Senior Vice President, Educational Program, for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, in which capacity he serves as the Institute’s Chief Academic Officer. He holds a B.A. from the University of Detroit, an M.A. from Yale University Divinity School, and a Ph.D. in American history from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. He first joined ISI in 1991 and served as editor of the Intercollegiate Review and founding editor and publisher of the Institute's press, ISI Books. Prior to returning to ISI in 2009, he was president of the Thomas More College of Liberal Arts and served on ISI's board of trustees. Dr. Nelson serves as vice chairman of the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal and secretary of the Edmund Burke Society of America. He is the editor of several books, including Redeeming the Time by Russell Kirk, American Conservatism: An Encyclopedia, The Political Principles of Robert Taft by Russell Kirk and James McClellan, Perfect Sowing by Henry Regnery, and Remembered Past by John Lukacs. He is a graduate of Georgetown University. Prior to joining ISI in 2008, he served as senior editor at Random House's Crown Forum division and as an editor at Regnery Publishing. He began his career working for syndicated columnist George F. Will. Mr. Donahue serves on the board of directors of First State Montessori Academy, a charter school in Wilmington, Delaware. He lives in Wilmington with his wife and two children.
Paul Rhein Paul Rhein Vice President, Operations Paul Rhein Vice President, Operations Paul Rhein is the Vice President of Operations at the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. He graduated with a degree in economics from the University of Detroit Mercy and completed graduate work in distance education technology at the University of Maryland. A former Coast Guard volunteer, he is active in his parish and in the Delaware Saengerbund, the area's German historical society. Mr. Rhein lives in Northern Delaware, with his wife and their young boys. Prior to joining ISI, he worked for a top 25 CPA Firm specializing in nonprofit audit, advisory and tax services. He is a graduate of Wilmington University and is a current member of the Delaware Society of CPA's.	Joshua Owens Joshua Owens Director of Leadership Development Joshua Owens Director of Leadership Development Josh Owens is Director of Leadership Development for the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. He holds an MA in history from Liberty University, an advanced graduate certificate in education policy from the University of Massachusetts, and a BS in business administration and religion from Cairn University. Prior to joining ISI, he served as the manager of online curriculum and academic programs at the Institute for Humane Studies at George Mason University, and as the associate director for university strategic planning and assessment at Liberty University. He lives with his wife and two children in Hockessin, Delaware. Jacob attended DePauw University for his undergraduate studies and completed his graduate coursework in Journalism at Ball State University. While at Ball State, he served as Editor in Chief of The Phoenix and as a graduate assistant for the Department of Journalism. Jacob has been involved in Indiana politics since his days as an undergrad and briefly worked for both the Indiana House Republican Caucus and the Indiana Republican State Committee before deciding to attend graduate school. A native of Illinois, Jacob currently lives in Newark, Delaware.

Regnery Alfred S. Regnery Former Publisher, The American Spectator Alfred S. Regnery has served on the ISI board since 2002. He is the former publisher of The American Spectator, a monthly journal of politics and culture. Previously he was the president and publisher of Regnery Publishing, Inc., the firm founded in 1947 by his father, Henry Regnery, who was formerly Chairman of the ISI Board. Mr. Regnery served in the Department of Justice during the Reagan Administration, as counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee and has practiced law in Washington and in the Midwest. He is a graduate of Beloit College and the University of Wisconsin Law School.	Patricia Herbold Vice Chairman Patricia Herbold	Charles L. Copeland Charles L. Copeland Secretary-Treasurer Charles L. Copeland Charlie Copeland is President of Associates International, Inc, an internationally-recognized direct marketing company located in Wilmington, Delaware. Charlie has been President of Associates since 1994 and has grown the company from a small 9-person company to be one of the largest of its kind in the nation. Prior to joining AGS Charlie worked in various Information Systems positions with the DuPont Company for over 7 years. He finished his career at DuPont as an Area Manager of Data Center Operations at the DeLisle, Mississippi Chemicals and Pigments plant. From 2002 through 2008, Charlie served as a Delaware State Senator and Senate Minority Leader representing Brandywine Hundred, Greenville, Centreville and Hockessin. During his service, Charlie was a lead voice for government accountability, education reform, and criminal justice reform. In November of 2008 he ran, unsuccessfully, for Lieutenant Governor. Currently, Charlie serves as President of the Board of the Challenge Program, a non-profit, which he co-founded, that trains at-risk youth in the City of Wilmington in construction skills; Board Chair of the Delaware Academy of Public Safety & Security, a Charter High School in the City of Wilmington; President of the Board of SURJ, a non-profit focused on criminal justice reform; Board Chair of the Longwood Foundation; a Rotarian since 1995; and Vice President of the board of the Mt. Cuba Center which has protected over 2,500 acres of open-space in the region in the last 2 years. Charlie holds both a bachelor of science degree in Computer Science & Physics and an MBA with a focus in Finance from Duke University. Allen is an international business consultant in Washington, D.C., and Senior Counselor to APCO Worldwide, Washington. He is a Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution, and Peace, Stanford University, and is a Member of the Advisory Board, Center for Strategic & International Studies, Washington; a Member of the Board of Trustees of The Intercollegiate Studies Institute; a Member of the Council on Foreign Relations; a Member of the Advisory Board, The Nixon Center, Washington; an Honorary Fellow in Politics and Fellow of St. Margaret's College at The University of Otago, New Zealand; and Co-Chair of The U.S. Committee for Human Rights in North Korea. From 2001-2007, he was a Member of the Defense Policy Board, Department of Defense, which advises the U. S. Secretary of Defense. During the first year of the Reagan Administration he served as Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs (National Security Advisor) and was Mr. Reagan's Chief Foreign Policy Advisor from 1977 to 1980. He was Deputy Assistant to the President of the United States and Deputy Executive Director of the Council on International Economic Policy, The White House. In 1968 he was Chief Foreign Policy Coordinator for the campaign of Richard Nixon, and was appointed by the President as Senior Staff member of the National Security Council. Mr. Allen holds BA and MA degrees from the University of Notre Dame, and studied at the Universities of Freiburg and Munich in Germany. He has received honorary doctorates from Pepperdine University, Hanover University, and Korea University. He was Senior Policy Advisor to the 1976, 1980, and 1984 Republican Platform Committees, and directed the International Cooperation Fund's 1984 and 1988 political convention activities. He has been a member of the Republican National Committee's Advisory Council on National Security and International Affairs, as well as Chairman of its Subcommittee on Intelligence. He has published numerous books and articles including National Security: Political, Military and Economic Strategies in the Decade Ahead (1963); East-West Trade: Its Strategic Implications (1964); Peace or Peaceful Coexistence? (1966); Democracy and Communism: Theory and Action (1967); The Yearbook on International Communist Affairs (1969); and other policy writings appearing in national and international newspapers, journals and national magazines. His major areas of interest include national security and foreign policy, trans-Atlantic relations, Asia, international trade and economic policy. He is a frequent commentator and panelist on national network public policy programs in this country and abroad, and lectures widely at academic and civic institutions and events. He and his wife, Patricia Mason Allen, have seven children and twenty-two grandchildren. They live in Denver, Colorado and The Gibbston Valley near Queenstown, South Island, New Zealand.

Dr. Arnn is on the board of directors of The Heritage Foundation, the Henry Salvatori Center of Claremont McKenna College and The Claremont Institute. Dr. Arnn is also a professor of politics and history at Hillsdale. He teaches courses on Aristotle, Winston Churchill and the American Constitution. Campbell Professor Emeritus of Economics, Louisiana State University William F. Campbell taught economics for 32 years at Louisiana State University. He became a Professor Emeritus of Economics in 1998. He has served as the Secretary of The Philadelphia Society since 1995. President Ronald Reagan appointed him to the National Graduate Fellowship Board from 1985-1990. In 1988 Professor Campbell was a Bradley Scholar at the Heritage Foundation. In that same year he joined the Board of Trustees of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. From 1991-1995 Professor Campbell served as President of the Association of Christian Economists. He is a member of the Mont Pelerin Society. Professor Campbell has published numerous scholarly articles in publications ranging from the American Economic Review, History of Political Economy, to Modern Age and The Intercollegiate Review. He has contributed scholarly introductions to two books by Wilhelm Roepke, The Social Crisis of Our Time and The Moral Foundations of Civil Society, both published by Transactions Press. He curated two exhibitions of Prints and Books for Louisiana State University: Friends of Adam Smith, 1992 ; Whigs, Tories, and Classical Republicans: 1640-1760, 1993. In his association with St. James Episcopal Church, he was President of the Center for Spiritual Formation, and has produced numerous videos for the adult Christian Education program that use art, music, and ideas to express the riches of Christian history. Feulner is Former Chairman of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute and Former President of the Heritage Foundation, Washington’s leading public policy organization. In 1989 President Reagan conferred the Presidential Citizens Medal on him as "a leader of the conservative movement." Dr. Feulner was a consultant for Domestic Policy to President Reagan and a member of the President’s Commission on White House Fellows. He has also served as the Executive Director of the Republican Study Committee in the U.S. House of Representatives; United States Representative to the United Nations Second Special Session on Disarmament (with the rank of Ambassador) where he delivered the final United States address to the General Assembly; and also served on the Executive Committee of the Presidential Transition during the transition from the Carter administration to the Reagan administration. He currently serves as Treasurer and Trustee of The Mont Pelerin Society; Member of the Board of the National Chamber Foundation; member of the Board of Visitors of George Mason University; a Trustee of the Acton Institute and the International Republican Institute. Dr. Feulner has also received degrees and honorary degrees from universities all over the world including Pepperdine University, and University of Edinburgh, where he received his Ph.D. He is the author of five books, has contributed to ten others, and has a weekly column that appears in major newspapers nationwide.

Gleba is President, Treasurer and Trustee of the Sarah Scaife Foundation and of The Carthage Foundation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Prior to joining the Foundations, Mr. Gleba was a lawyer, practicing first with Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP in Pittsburgh and then with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Pittsburgh and Jakarta, Indonesia. His practice areas involved various aspects of corporate law. Mr. Gleba received his JD cum laude and MBA with high honors from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and his BS in Industrial Management with University Honors from Carnegie Mellon University, also in Pittsburgh. She advises other think tanks on ways to advance their policy prescriptions and builds support for Heritage’s policy research agenda “beyond the Beltway.” Wagner organizes Heritage’s annual Resource Bank meeting, a gathering of hundreds of conservative groups from across the nation and around the world to meet and discuss strategy. She also oversees the publication of a quarterly magazine, The Insider, and its online companion site, InsiderOnline.org. In addition to her Heritage duties, Wagner serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of Dallas and Intercollegiate Studies Institute. She is a director of State Policy Network, the Foundation for Government Accountability and the Dominican Foundation. And, she serves on the advisory boards of the Benjamin Rush Society, the National Civic Arts Society, Talent Market and the Adriatic Institute for Public Policy in Croatia. T. William Boxx T. William Boxx T. William Boxx Chairman and CEO T. William “Bill” Boxx is Chairman and CEO of the Phillip M. McKenna Foundation, a private grant-making foundation based in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. He previously worked in government affairs and corporate services for Kennametal Inc. and in social services for the state of Arkansas. In addition to serving on the board of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute, he was also a founding member of its National Civic Literacy Board. At Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, he serves on the Council of Advisors of the Alex G. McKenna School of Business, Economics, and Government, which he helped found, and he is a Senior Fellow of the Center for Economics and Policy Education, which he also helped found. He has also served on Saint Vincent’s board of directors. Mr. Boxx is a founding trustee and serves as Chairman of the Commonwealth Foundation for Public Policy Alternatives in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is on the board and is Chairman of the Education Committee of Pennsylvanians for Effective Government, also in Harrisburg. He serves on the board of the Henry Salvatori Center at Claremont McKenna College in California. Mr. Boxx has written articles and coedited books on political and moral-cultural topics, including Public Morality, Civic Virtue, and the Problem of Modern Liberalism and Toward the Renewal of Civilization: Political Order and Culture, both published by Eerdmans. Burnley IV Mr. Burnley served as the U.S. Secretary of Transportation from 1987 to 1989 and is one of the nation’s foremost authorities on transportation law and policy. He also served as Deputy Secretary of Transportation from 1983 to 1987 and was General Counsel of the Department in 1983. Prior to his years with the USDOT, Mr. Burnley served as Associate Deputy Attorney General for the Justice Department and as Director of the VISTA Program in the early 1980s. Mr. Burnley maintains active civic and corporate board affiliations, including several tied to his transportation work. He served on the Board of Directors of Infrasoft, Inc., which produces software for the engineering industry, and of MTA Safety Training Systems, a company involved in truck driver training, until the recent sales of the companies. He is a Trustee and former Chairman of the Jamestown Foundation. Earlier in the administration he held the position of Counselor to the Attorney General. He also served as Vice Chairman of the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board from 1989 to 1992.

He became the country’s youngest editor of a daily newspaper when he took the helm of the Indianapolis News at the age of twenty-six. Mr. Evans wrote countless articles and essays for various publications, and he was the author of several books, including Blacklisted by History: The Untold Story of Senator Joe McCarthy and His Fight Against America’s Enemies and The Theme Is Freedom: Religion, Politics, and the American Tradition. He served as an ISI lecturer and trustee for decades and was the recipient of ISI’s highest honor, the Charles H. Hoeflich Lifetime Achievement Award.	Charles H. Hoeflich† Charles H. Hoeflich† Charles H. Hoeflich President Emeritus Charles H. Hoeflich, President Emeritus of the Univest Corporation, was a founding member of ISI’s board. Mr. Hoeflich served as secretary and treasurer of ISI’s board of trustees from 1953 to 1999. For fifty years, he has labored as a moral, financial, and practical guiding light to ISI and its leadership. For this reason, ISI named its highest award, the Charles H. Hoeflich Lifetime Achievement Award, in recognition of his immeasurable contributions to the Institute.

As Chairman of the Domestic Policy Council and the National Drug Policy Board, and as a member of the National Security Council, he played a key role in the development and execution of domestic and foreign policy. During the 1970s, Mr. Meese was Director of the Center for Criminal Justice Policy and Management and Professor of Law at the University of San Diego. He earlier served as Chief of Staff for then-Governor Reagan and was a local prosecutor in California. Currently, Mr. Meese serves as the Ronald Reagan Distinguished Fellow in Public Policy as well as the Chairman for the Center for Legal and Judicial Studies at The Heritage Foundation in Washington, DC. He is also a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Hoover Institution, Stanford University. He earned his B.A. from Yale University and his J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.	E. He was credited with building up ISI's national campus infrastructure and establishing two of the Institute's most influential endeavors: The Intercollegiate Review and the Richard M. Weaver Fellowships. In addition to his work at ISI, in 1981 Mr. Milione was appointed to the Board of Foreign Scholarships by President Reagan and served on the Advisory Panel on International and Cultural Exchange of the United States Information Agency. As president emeritus, Mr. Milione served on the ISI Board of Trustees and on the Weaver Fellowship selection committee.	Robert H. Miller† Robert H. Miller	Thomas Pauken Thomas Pauken Thomas Pauken Tom Pauken has a longtime involvement in politics and public affairs. From 1994 to 1997, he served as State Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas. Previously, he was Director of ACTION, an independent federal agency, from 1981 to 1985. He also was on the White House Counsel’s staff during the Reagan Administration. He served in the Nixon Administration from 1970 to 1971 as Associate Director of the White House Fellowship Program and as White House Staff Assistant. Mr. Pauken’s military service included a tour of duty in Vietnam as a military intelligence officer. He was a National Chairman of the College Republicans from 1965 to 1967. Mr. Pauken received a bachelor of arts from Georgetown University and a J.D. from Southern Methodist University Law School. He is the author of The Thirty Years War: The Politics of the ‘60s Generation. He has been a newspaper columnist, talk show host, and president of a radio station. Mr. Pauken currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Conservative Union and the Rockford Institute.

Mr. Regnery is the author ofMemoirs of a Dissident Publisher (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1979) and Creative Chicago: From The Chap-Book to the University (Chicago Historical Bookworks, 1993).	Wayne H. Valis Wayne H. Valis Wayne H. Valis President and Founder Wayne Valis is President and Founder of Valis Associates, an independent public policy consulting and advocacy company that specializes in political representation, economic development, and business arrangements. Prior to founding Valis Associates in 1983, Mr. Valis served three U.S. Presidents: Nixon, Ford, and Reagan. From 1981-83, he served as Special Assistant to President Reagan for liaison with business, working on the Economic Recovery Program. He later assisted then-Vice President George Bush on regulatory reform issues. In 1995, Valis helped create and served on the executive committee of the Cheney for President Exploratory Committee. From 1973-74, he was Staff Assistant to President Nixon, and from 1974-1977, he was Director of Planning and Research, Office of Public Liaison for President Ford. During 1972-73, and again from 1977-1981, Mr. Valis served at the American Enterprise Institute. Prior to 1972, Mr. Valis was editor of The Intercollegiate Review. He has written numerous articles and reviews, as well as a book, The Future under President Reagan. He earned his bachelors degree in political science from Rutgers University. She has also served as an advisor to several civic organizations, including: Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, the Cleveland Clinic of Florida, and the Board of The Orleans. Since 1992, she has been a Co-Chairman of the Heritage Legacy Society, a group of supporters who make gifts through their estates so the Heritage Foundation will be a permanent voice in Washington. Marion's late husband, Preston "Dick" Wells, was a long time trustee of several organizations. She continues his legacy as a stalwart advocate of conservative principles in America
Preston A. Wells, Jr.† Preston A. Wells, Jr.† Preston A. Wells, Jr. Preston "Dick" Wells was a true hero. Serving as a Marine in World War II, he fought valiantly at Iwo Jima. As Manager of Engineering and Production for Quaker Oats and co-founder of the Las Olas Company of Palm Beach, Florida, he was an exemplary businessman, whose prosperity never surpassed his virtue. As a friend of the conservative movement, Dick Wells served as a trustee of the Heritage Foundation. In 1996, he became an ISI Trustee, and in 2002 Chairman of the ISI Board. He was an enthusiastic supporter of ISI’s many programs for the young, and was a pioneer in helping to establish ISI’s Honors Program. In his memory, ISI has named Preston "Dick" Wells a permanent honorary trustee.
