One of the UFC’s top Australian prospect will return to action in Brisbane. The promotion has announced that Jake Matthews will take on Johnny Case at UFC Fight Night 84, which takes place March 20 at the Brisbane Entertainment Center in Brisbane, Australia.

After going 6-0 the Australian local circuit, Matthews signed with the UFC in 2014. He won his first two bouts over Dashon Johnson and Vagner Rocha. Matthews tasted defeat for the first time in 2015 when he submitted to James Vick. However, he recently got back on track with a second-round stoppage victory over Akbarh Arreola at UFC 193.

Case joined the UFC in 2014 on the back of an eight-fight winning streak. He has since continued his winning ways. He is now 4-0 in the Octagon with victories over Kazuki Tokudome, Frankie Perez, Francisco Trevino and Yan Cabral. The Iowa native has not tasted defeat since falling to Rick Glenn in 2010.

In the main event of UFC Fight Night 84, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir returns to action against former K-1 World Grand Prix champion Mark Hunt. Also on the card, Hector Lombard returns from suspension and faces Neil Magny.
