LATEST : The ASF 1986-2016 30th Anniversary
It was on this day in 1986 at 417 King St., Newtown (original Jura Books) the the ASF was founded. There were five people from Melbourne and seven people from Sydney including all four members of the Rebel Worker Group, George Hristov (Bulgarian exile) and Antonio Jimenez (Spanish exile).
From this day, the ASF enters its 31st year with five affiliates; 2nd Melbourne, 15th Brisbane, 17th Perth, 18th TWA (provisional) and 19th Canberra (provisional).
