The Submarines song from the album Honeysuckle weeks.
Lyrics to 1940 :
Somethings wrong when you regret
Things that haven't happened yet
But it's a glorious day when morning comes
Without the feeling of alarm
So rise, and shine
Nows the time to be alive
To stay awake with me a while, and smile
You couldn't sleep for the awful fright
That kept you up in bed last

Lyrics to 1940 :
Somethings wrong when you regret
Things that haven't happened yet
But it's a glorious day when morning comes
Without the feeling of alarm
So rise, and shine
Nows the time to be alive
To stay awake with me a while, and smile
You couldn't sleep for the awful fright
That kept you up in bed last
But curious shape shift in the dark,
They vanish with the sunrise spark
So rise, and shine
Nows the time to be alive
To stay awake with me a while, and smile

Another great, hard to find screwball comedy - this time from the early 1940's, with three beautiful ladies.
As you can probably tell, I favor old black & white movies from the 1930's and 1940's.
Once again, this movie is very rare. I've only seen it televised once these past many years and I feel very fortunate to be able to provide it here on my YouTube channel.
If you like falling asleep to old movies at night, this is a great one to play. Hope you enjoy it. Have Fun!

For more Free Films, check out http://www.FreeFilmFlix.com today!
In November, 1940, the newly completed Tacoma Narrows Bridge, opened barely four months before, swayed and collapsed in a 42 mile-per-hour wind. There were no casualties except a dog trapped in a car stranded on the bridge. A rescue was attempted (by the man with the pipe), but the frightened animal would not leave the car.
The site was declared a National Historic Landmark to discourage relic seekers and salvage operations.
This file is a composite of the good quality Internet Archive file and the soundtrack of a poor quality (heavily scratched and filled with abrasions) Castle Film entitled "The Movies Greatest Headlines," which is also in the public domain. I've edited the video to make it fit the sound. I also filtered the sound track to get rid of the hiss and to cut down on the tinny sound.

This series, broadcast in Britain in 2000, covers the fateful year of 1940 when British independence hung by a thread. From the evacuation of Dunkirk to victory in the Battle of Britain, the series contains some superb archive footage and - most of all - some wonderful interviews with people who were there, both on the fighting front, at home, and even in government. The film quality in some places is a little fuzzy, probably because it was uploaded from an old VHS, but it's worth sticking with in my opinion. Uploaded for educational purposes only. Be sure to watch Part 2, and 'The Other Side of Dunkirk' also available on my channel. Comments are restricted but welcome if they engage with the subject matter.

New York is the most populous city in the United States and the center of the New York Metropolitan Area, one of the most populous urban agglomerations in the world.
