Quotes:
Julian: When you live outside the law, you have to eliminate dishonesty.
Dancer: [as a dying Julian gasps something unintellible] Say something for the book!
Sandy McLain: How does it feel to make five G's in one day?::Julian: Dancer derives no particular feeling from it.::Sandy McLain: [Sarcastically] Oh, not too much!::Dancer: [With apparent disdain] I've been watching you. McLean. You've been comin' on big, I don't like that.::Sandy McLain: [Defensively] Look, I just...::Julian: Please, we prefer as little conversation as possible from outsiders. Dancer works better that way. You didn't know before - now you do.
Lt. Ben Guthrie: You know, one thing bothers me though.::Insp. Al Quine: What's that?::Lt. Ben Guthrie: Why a well-organized operation would have a junkie as a wheelman.::Insp. Al Quine: You know, that could be the mistake that nails 'em, Ben. Folsom's full of mistakes.::Lt. Ben Guthrie: Let's prowl the rest of this place and get out of here.::Insp. Al Quine: I'm in favor of that!
Lt. Ben Guthrie: [Sarcastically as he looks around Jenkins' cheap, unkempt apartment] Jenkins certainly had a great spot here for a Halloween party.::Insp. Al Quine: [Laconically] Yeah, no self-respectin' witch would bring a broom into this trap.
Julian: [Contemplating not murdering Bradshaw and her daughter] Are you that wise? I hope so for the sake of you both.::Dorothy Bradshaw: Yes, I'll do whatever you say.::Julian: I'm personally very pleased with your decision because in my profession there's one thing i dislike and that's hearing someone's last words. [Knowingly to Dancer] You know, famous last words.
Lt. Ben Guthrie: [Surveying the dead junkie's apartment] Looks like Warner was quite a traveler.::Insp. Al Quine: [Sardonically] And nothin' like the trip he just took.
Julian: [Closing steamroom door after being invited in by Warren] Steam!::Julian: Don't stay in there too long. It opens the pores.::Dancer: [Chuckling] Heh-heh. That's a yock!::Julian: [Disdainfully] A yock?::Dancer: O.K, O.K., That's amusing.::Julian: Better... nuch better. Yock's a crude word.
Philip Dressler: Well, it's unfortunate we have to meet under these awful circumstances, I know.::Insp. Al Quine: [Flatly] We meet a lot of people under unfortunate circumstances, Mr. Dressler.
Sandy McLain: [Referring to Dancer] I knew a guy like him once.::Julian: No, you didn't. There's never been a guy like Dancer. He's a wonderful, pure pathological study. He's a psychopath with no inhibitions.

Salisbury Cathedral 6 min with narration by David Oakes
Salisbury Cathedral is unique amongst medieval English cathedrals having been built in just 38 years (1220 - 1258) in a single architectural style, early English Gothic. The tower and spire (Britain's tallest) were added about 50 years later. The building itself is remarkable, a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who erected it.
But it is much more than a historical monument. It

Uriah Heep - Salisbury - with lyrics
Somewhere in your eyes that very special glow
Something drawing me to where I do not know
I never really thought that I would lose myself
Now I'm going faste...
Somewhere in your eyes that very special glow
Something drawing me to where I do not know
I never really thought that I would lose myself
Now I'm going faster than anybody else
You move without a sound and touch me with your hand
Just like the rain that fondles every grain of sand
This thing we're gonna do it's just for you and me
I'm gonna make it good, good as it can be, oh
Your kiss is sweeter now, your breath is getting warm
We must take our time and last it through 'til dawn
I wonder will it be oh, I expect it to
There have been other girls, no one else like you
I feel a power here, I never felt before
And I begin to see what drives us to want more
Oh, girl of all my dreams please tell me if I'm wrong
Because I've been blue but we belong, oh
As time passed and all too fast I just knew we couldn't last
And I guessed that the end was near at hand, oh yeah
Though we tried our love inside it just crumpled up and died
What went wrong I will never, never understand you tell me why
Alone again, how could you leave me?
Alone again I don't want to be
Alone again, yeah
There's a line in a rhyme I was going to send to you
It says, 'All that is to be will surely be'
So oh, though you had to go 'cause you needed someone new
Is there still a chance that you'll come back to me?
I want you back you see
Alone again, how could you leave me?
Alone again, how could you leave me?
Alone again, I don't wanna be alone again, yeah
Somewhere in your eyes that very special glow
Something drawing me to where I do not know
I never really thought that I would lose myself
But now I'm going faster than anybody else
You move without a sound and touch me with your hand
Just like the waves that fondle every little grain of sand
This thing we're gonna do it's just for you and me
And I'm gonna make it good just you wait and see, oh

Salisbury Cathedral is unique amongst medieval English cathedrals having been built in just 38 years (1220 - 1258) in a single architectural style, early English Gothic. The tower and spire (Britain's tallest) were added about 50 years later. The building itself is remarkable, a testimony to the faith and practical skills of those who erected it.
But it is much more than a historical monument. It is a living church and a place of prayer. As the Cathedral Church of the Salisbury diocese it is Mother Church of several hundred parishes in Wiltshire and Dorset. It is also a centre of pilgrimage for hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.
This short film is narrated by David Oakes, with photography and editing by Ash Mills. The organist was Daniel Cook playing Louis Vierne First Symphony Final mvt. #1

The Seychelles are a group of 115 islands, only a few inhabited, in the Indian Ocean that lie off the coast of East Africa, northeast of Madagascar.
The Seychelles were disputed between France and Great Britain during the age of colonialism, with Britain ending up in control in 1814 after the Napoleonic Wars. The islands achieved independence in 1976; however, free elections did not occur until 1993. The politics of this island group remain in something of a state of flux, although this should not bother the tourist seeking a relaxing beach vacation. .
Do in Seychelles
==============
Visit the beaches. Many of the beaches are untouched by man's influence and are refreshingly uncrowded. They offer clear blue skies and a tranquility you will rarely find. A hike along the coastline from Beau Vallon to Anse Major will take about 1.5-2 hours and your reward will be a small deserted beach that's fit for a king. The scenery along the hike is breathtaking. Not all beaches are suitable for swimming depending on the time of year, due to the seasonal winds. Do not ignore warning signs indicating that a beach is hazardous for swimming, no matter how it seems to you.
Vallee de Mai is a national park and world heritage site, home to amazing flora and fauna, including the world's largest seed: the coco de mer. Entrance fee: Free for residents, 315 rupees (~20Euros) for foreigners (Sept 2010).
Aldabra Atoll: The world's largest coral atoll that stretches about 22 miles east to west and encloses a huge tidal lagoon. Aldabra is the original home of the giant land tortoise and tiger sharks and manta rays can also often be seen here.
Watersports: The warm Indian Ocean waters make Seychelles the perfect place for the water enthusiasts. Explore on board a yacht, power boat, catamaran or sailboat. Windsurfing is also popular and the best time for this activity is usually around May then in October, at the start and end of the trade winds.
Scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing are also extremely popular and can be done almost anywhere in Seychelles. Baie Ternay is superb and easily acccessible by glass bottom boat tour from Beau Vallon beach - leave yourself an empty day and walk the beach for a 'last minute' booking - great deals can be bartered. Snorkeling (provided you have your own gear - some hotels lend masks, snorkels and fins to guests) is FREE and there are many great spots: off some of the small beaches at Glacis, past Mouse Island at Anse Royale, along the reef at Port Launay (near Ephelia Resort). Often spotted are a wide array of tropical fish, sea turtles, eagle rays and more!
Land Sports: Golf, tennis, squash, badminton, horseback riding, biking and hiking are some of the recreational activities available on the Seychelles Islands. Bike rentals and walking tours are great ways to sightsee and since distances are relatively short and the scenery is beautiful, walking is probably the best way to see the smaller islands (La Digue, Praslin), while walking along the main road can be quite intimidating as the roads are narrow and local cars/busses drive quite quickly. On Mahe it is not advised to ride bicycles, and there are no rental shops within sight. Bird watching is also popular and the islands are home to many of the worlds most treasured and rare species of animals. The best place to do so is Cousin Island which although only 1 km (0.6 miles) in diameter, is home to more than 300,000 birds, but many unique species can be found at ease on Mahe.

I took an amazing day trip from London to visit Bath, Salisbury Cathedral (http://www.salisburycathedral.org.uk/) and Stonehenge. I had the opportunity to take a private tour of the cathedral, including a trip up a winding staircase to the second level (clerestory), offering spectacular views of this incredible building. This space, along with other behind-the-scenes areas can be explored on the cathedral's Tower Tour (http://www.salisburycathedral.org.uk/visit/tower-tours), which includes a visit to the spire, offering incredible views of the surrounding countryside.
Check out Visit Wiltshire for great info about a visit to the area (http://www.visitwiltshire.co.uk/) and I used Executive Connection (http://www.executiveconnection.co.uk/) car service for a luxurious way to do the trip from London, complete with a driver who also served as a tour guide for the areas between our stops.

Salisbury Cathedral, England Travel - Salisbury Cathedral, formally known as the Cathedral Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, is an Anglican cathedral in Salisbury, England, considered one of the leading examples of Early English architecture.[1] The main body was completed in only 38 years, from 1220 to 1258.
The cathedral has the tallest church spire in the United Kingdom (123m/404 ft). Visitors can take the Tower Tour where the interior of the hollow spire, with its ancient wood scaffolding, can be viewed. The cathedral also has the largest cloister and the largest cathedral close in Britain (80 acres). The Cathedral contains the worlds oldest working clock (from AD 1386) and has one of the four surviving original copies of the Magna Carta (all four original copies are in England).[1] Although commonly known as Salisbury Cathedral, the official name is the Cathedral of Saint Mary. In 2008, the cathedral celebrated the 750th anniversary of its consecration in 1258.
It is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Salisbury, and seat of the Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt. Revd. David Stancliffe.

It is the Mother Church of the Diocese of Salisbury, and seat of the Bishop of Salisbury, the Rt. Revd. David Stancliffe.

London place name pronunciation can be tough, if you're thinking of travelling to London then you might get caught out by some of the strange pronunciations. So, I've put together this little guide to save you from looking foolish during your trip to London.
In this video we'll cover The River Thames, Leicester Square, Buckingham Palace and Greenwich in Central London. Plus, Derby, Birmingham, Norwich, Gloucester, Loughborough and Salisbury.

Travel Guide Spain /// Cáceres http://maartenkuijken.tumblr.com/
The Ciudad Monumental (old town) of Cáceres is truly extraordinary. Narrow cobbled streets twist and climb among ancient stone walls lined with palaces and mansions, while the skyline is decorated with turrets, spires, gargoyles and enormous storks' nests. Protected by defensive walls, it has survived almost intact from its 16th-century heyday. At dusk or after dark, when the crowds have gone, you'll feel like you've stepped back into the Middle Ages. Stretching at its feet, the lively and arcaded Plaza Mayor is one of Spain's finest public squares.
