PLC Programming Tutorial for Beginners_ Part-2

In this lesson we will learn how to write a PLC program using an "S7 300” PLC and “STEP 7” software.
We have two pumps which are being used to transfer two separate liquids into this tank.Inside the tank there are two level switches installed in the lower and upper parts of the tank respectively.
There is also an electrically powered mixer inside the tank which starts working for a defined period of time, mixing the two liquids together after the tank has filled.
We also have a discharge valve in the bottom of the tank which controls the draining of the liquid from the tank.
When the level of the liquid drops to the level of the switch's position the contact closes, sending a 24 volt DC signal to the PLC input.
We want to write the program so that when the level of the liquid reaches this minimum, the pumps will be activated and begin filling the tank with the liquids.
The pumps continue filling the tank until the level reaches its maximum at the higher level switch. When this happens the open contacts in the switch will be closed and another 24 volt signal will be sent to the PLC input telling us that the tank is full.
When this signal has been sent, first the pumps should shut down so that no more liquid enters the tank, and then this mixer should be turned on.
We want the mixer to operate for seven seconds, mixing the liquids that have been pumped into the tank.
After seven seconds the mixer should automatically shut down and this discharge valve should open.
With the valve open the liquid will be discharged from the tank and transferred to another location within the factory to be processed.
When the level of the liquid in the tank drops to the minimum set level of the lower switch, the switch contacts will close again thus starting a repeat of the cycle!

In this lesson we will learn how to write a PLC program using an "S7 300” PLC and “STEP 7” software.
We have two pumps which are being used to transfer two separate liquids into this tank.Inside the tank there are two level switches installed in the lower and upper parts of the tank respectively.
There is also an electrically powered mixer inside the tank which starts working for a defined period of time, mixing the two liquids together after the tank has filled.
We also have a discharge valve in the bottom of the tank which controls the draining of the liquid from the tank.
When the level of the liquid drops to the level of the switch's position the contact closes, sending a 24 volt DC signal to the PLC input.
We want to write the program so that when the level of the liquid reaches this minimum, the pumps will be activated and begin filling the tank with the liquids.
The pumps continue filling the tank until the level reaches its maximum at the higher level switch. When this happens the open contacts in the switch will be closed and another 24 volt signal will be sent to the PLC input telling us that the tank is full.
When this signal has been sent, first the pumps should shut down so that no more liquid enters the tank, and then this mixer should be turned on.
We want the mixer to operate for seven seconds, mixing the liquids that have been pumped into the tank.
After seven seconds the mixer should automatically shut down and this discharge valve should open.
With the valve open the liquid will be discharged from the tank and transferred to another location within the factory to be processed.
When the level of the liquid in the tank drops to the minimum set level of the lower switch, the switch contacts will close again thus starting a repeat of the cycle!

Hello people,
Here we are in yet another interesting task.
Today's task is:
We have a 3 cylinder.
We use limit switches and reed sensors.
Push button S1 = Start (Start Process)
Sensor S2 = Sheet metal (subject on position sensor is turned on)
We have 3 double acting cylinder.
All 3 pistons cylinder A, B and C are in the retracted position.
Limit switches cylinder A = A0 and A1.
Reed sensors cylinder B = B0 and B1.
Limit switches cylinder C = C0 and C1.
The condition to start the process:
logical unit give S2, A0, B0 and C0 and pressing S1, process
begins.
Piston cylinder A comes out and tightens sheet metal.
Piston cylinder B comes out and form the sheet metal.
Piston cylinder B returns to the starting position.
Piston cylinder C comes out and form the sheet metal with another tool.
Piston cylinder C returns to the starting position.
Piston Cylinder A returns to the starting position.
After we took out sheet metal, sensor S2 will not working. So it will give logical zero.
The process is complete!
To reboot it is necessary to set a new Sheet Metal on the table for forming and press S1.

Evo nas u još jednom zanimljivom zadatku.
Današnji zadatak je:
Imamo 3 cilindra.
Korisitmo se graničnim prekidačima i Reed senzorima.
Tipkalo S1 = Početak (Pokretanje procesa)
Senzor S2 = Lim (Predmet je na položaju, senzor je upaljen)
Imamo 3 dvoradna clindra.
Sva 3 klipa cilindra A, B i C su u uvučenom položaju.
Krajnje sklopke (ili granični prekidači) cilindra A = A0 i A1.
Reed senzori cilindra B = B0 i B1.
Krajnje sklopke (ili granični prekidači) cilindra C = C0 i C1.
Uvjet za početak procesa:

Klip cilindra A izlazi i zateže lim.

Nakon što smo izvadili lim, S2 senzor neće raditi. Dakle, to će dati logičku nulu.

The Complete PLCLearn series includes all of the lectures that you would receive if you attended the best PLC training and a few unique to our program. The center piece of the series is a collection of three lab project manuals. Together, they provide projects to exercise the entire set of 71 instructions available for use with the demo PLC. We try to include some of the less obvious behavior of these instructions along with the obvious. As a companion to the lab project manuals, commentaries on each lab project are available on YouTube and on disks. The manuals have divided the projects into "Basics", "Advanced I" and "Advanced II". An "Information" disk is available and it contains hardware and software manuals as well as demo software and miscellaneous documents and guides that will assist you on the job.
