This Land can mean several things:
Sixology (Chinese: JJ陸) is Singaporean Mandopop Singer-songwriter JJ Lin's sixth Mandarin studio album. It was released on 18 October 2008 by the Ocean Butterflies Music and contains 14 tracks. It is called this because it is his sixth album. There are three versions for this album. The song "主角" is popular in China, with many performances recently and concerts in many cities.
The album was awarded one of the Top 10 Selling Mandarin Albums of the Year at the 2009 IFPI Hong Kong Album Sales Awards, presented by the Hong Kong branch of IFPI.
Land, released in 1983 on Jive Records, was The Comsat Angels' fourth album. The album was reissued on CD in 2001 with five B-sides as bonus tracks for Jive's "Connoisseur Collection".
The song "Independence Day," originally from their debut album, Waiting for a Miracle, was rerecorded for Land. "Will You Stay Tonight" and "Independence Day" received a reasonable amount of airplay and charted in the UK at No. 81 and No. 71, respectively. "Island Heart" was also released as a single.
Land was the first of two albums for the Jive label and was viewed as a major departure from the Comsats' first three albums. Frontman Stephen Fellows looked back in a 2006 interview: "We made more commercial albums in the mid-'80s because the record company wanted us to do so. We were happy to find a new label after the commercially not-so-successful first albums." He regretted the result, but their options seemed limited because of the pop music world at the time. "Indie didn’t really exist, so we had no choice. But in retrospect we should have [stuck] to our early sound." Bass player Kevin Bacon put it this way: "The demos we did for Land were really good. It was a weird time for us – we felt deflated after being dropped after three albums by Polydor. Eighties pop values were rife; we didn’t naturally fit in, but were all into being popular (pop) and felt we could achieve it in a more damning way. We didn’t think Land was crap at the time, we just didn’t think it was us."
Patricia Lee "Patti" Smith (born December 30, 1946) is an American singer-songwriter, poet and visual artist who became a highly influential component of the New York City punk rock movement with her 1975 debut album Horses.
Called the "punk poet laureate", Smith fused rock and poetry in her work. Smith's most widely known song is "Because the Night", which was co-written with Bruce Springsteen. The song reached number 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1978. In 2005, Patti Smith was named a Commander of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture, and in 2007, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. On November 17, 2010, she won the National Book Award for her memoir Just Kids. The book fulfilled a promise she had made to her former long-time roommate and partner, Robert Mapplethorpe. In Rolling Stone magazine's list of 100 Greatest Artists published in December 2010, she was in 47th place. She is also a recipient of the 2011 Polar Music Prize.
Debil ("Moronic") is the first full-length studio album by Die Ärzte, released in 1984, following the EPs Zu schön, um wahr zu sein! and Uns geht's prima.... The songs "Paul" and "Zu spät" were released as singles, without being successful initially. However, a live version of "Zu spät" was released as a single from the live album Nach uns die Sintflut in 1989 and became a moderate hit in Germany.
In 1987, the Bundesprüfstelle für jugendgefährdende Medien (Federal Department for Media Harmful to Young Persons) put the songs "Claudia hat 'nen Schäferhund" and "Schlaflied" on the List of Media Harmful to Young People, with the effect that they could not be sold to minors, nor publicly advertised or displayed. This ban was lifted in 2004, which led to the subsequent reissue of the album (see below).
Following a reevaluation of the record by the BPjM, Debil was reissued on 21 October 2005 as Devil with slightly altered cover art and additional tracks.

Paul (Cornish: Breweni) is a village in Cornwall, England, United Kingdom. It is in the civil parish of Penzance. The village is two miles (3 km) south of Penzance and one mile (1.6 km) south of Newlyn.
The village of Paul should not be confused with the civil parish of Paul, which lies west of the village and does not include the village of Paul.
Like many Cornish communities Paul has its own community celebration. Paul Feast is held on the Sunday nearest 10 October every year when the village is decorated and a civic service takes place on the Sunday of the feast itself led by the Mayor of Penzance.
Much of the history of Paul is connected with its parish church. The church itself is said to have been founded in 490, a very uncertain date and not documented, by Paul Aurelian, a Welsh saint known in Brittany as Paol Aurelian in Breton. There is no historical evidence to support his ever coming to West Penwith. He was founder of the cathedral at Saint-Pol-de-Léon, the city named after him. However this church could have been dedicated to Paul the Apostle, or Paulinus of York, there is no documentary evidence to prove any of these three Saint Pauls was the original dedicatee of the church. It was only named 'St. Pol-de-Leon' in 1907 and is probably connected with Henry Jenner who (with W C Borlase) opposed alleged 'Englishness' and stamp consistent spelling of Cornish place names on OS maps.
Paul (died 593) was the father of Maurice, Byzantine Emperor. He served as head of the Byzantine Senate.
According to Evagrius Scholasticus, Maurice and his family could trace their lineage from "elder Rome". The future Emperor had been born in Arabissus, Cappadocia. The family's hometown was in the vicinity of modern Elbistan. The town was relatively insignificant for centuries. Justinian I had increased its importance, turning it to a recruiting centre and staging area for his forces. It was part of a military route starting from Caesarea Mazaca (modern Kayseri) and proceeding to Comana and Melitene.
The primary source about Paul is the "Ecclesiastical History" of John of Ephesus. It reports: "At the beginning of his reign, the king sent for his father, an old man named Paul, and his mother, and his brother, whose name was Peter, and his two sisters, one of whom was a widow, and the other the wife of Philippicus. ... And next he made his father head of the senate, and chief of all the patricians, and gave him and his son Peter, the king's brother, the entire property of the great patrician Marcellus, brother of the late king Justin, which was not much less than the royal demesnes themselves, with his houses and landed estates, and gold and silver, and his wardrobe, and every thing that he had everywhere without exception.". And next he gave his father and mother another house near the church (of S. Sophia) and his own palace. John continues to detail the honours bestowed by Maurice to his extended family, placing special focus on Domitian, Bishop of Malatya. While mentioning Domitian as a kinsman of Maurice, John does not specify the exact relation of the Bishop to Maurice or to Paul.Theophanes the Confessor records the death of Paul in 593.

This is the A Side of ‘The Comsat Angels,’ second EP ‘Total War,’ (March 1980) though the first release on Polydor. Two of the tracks would go on to feature on their first LP ‘Waiting For A Miracle.’ The title of this track is listed as ‘Total War Girl,’ on the sleeve. At this stage, The Comsat Angels had tried performing under three other names Mr Tibbetts, Skylids and Radio Earth before settling on the J.G. Ballard inspired ‘The Comsat Angels.’ Although as Fellows admits not a great story, it was a great name. The line up of the band remained nearly the same for each of the incarnations. As Radio Earth, they supported Pere Ubu in Newcastle in 1978. They were forced to re-evaluate what they were doing. Fellows commented that they ‘realised what we were doing was fundamentally bad - need...
The rather lovely 'And All The Stars' performed by English post-punk group The Comsat Angels. A sweet and simple song, but still, so very moving. Taken from the album, 'MY MINDS EYE' (1993). LISTEN LOUD. Stephen Fellows - vocals & guitar. Andy Peake - synthesizer. Kevin Bacon - bass. Mik Glaisher - drums.
This is the B Side of ‘The Comsat Angels,’ first new release of 1981. One of the great tracks to never make an album and overlooked on re-releases. However, Fellows did comment on it for the compilation LP Enz. He said this is when they began recording the drums through the lift shaft which created a sound ‘a bit like World War III, this is what we wanted at the time.’ This song was the first in which they used this recording technique. This track has been released most recently on Edsel Records deluxe release of 'Sleep No More.' Also on said release is the Peel Session version of the song. I do not own any of this music and am only posting it to spread The Comsat Angels' music, if the owners would like this video removed, please contact me.
This is the fourth track on the first side of 'The Comsat Angels,' second album 'Sleep No More.' This track has been released most recently on Edsel Records deluxe release of 'Sleep No More.' Also on said release is the Richard Skinner Show version of the song as well as the EP version of the song. I do not own any of this music and am only posting it to spread The Comsat Angels' music, if the owners would like this video removed, please contact me.
This is the third track on the first side of 'Sleep No More.' This track has been released most recently on Edsel Records deluxe release of 'Sleep No More.' Also on said release is the Peel Session version of the song, a version recorded for the Richard Skinner Show as well as an early demo. This Land can mean several things:
This land is your land, this land is my land
From Love Canal to Three Mile Island
From the Livermore labs to the offshore rigs
This land was made for you and me
As I was walking the strip mined valley
Into the city, the piss-soaked alley
I felt kinda sickly, kinda Love-Canal-ly
This land was made or you and me
This land is your land, this land is my land
But tell the truth, man it's call the landlord's land
Wants money in his hand, or he'll call the policeman
This land was made for you and me
This land is your land (well, it's not MY land)
This land is my land (it was once the Indian's land)
From California (where they got smog, man)
To the New York Island (you'll get mugged or murdered)
From the Redwood Forrest (pool decks and patio furniture)
To the Gulf Stream water (hold your nose)
This land was made for you and me
You ask how we can do this to Woody, man
We know he'd understand and mourn the poison land
With head held in dismay at Prince William's death-bay
