Why dangerous and Beautiful- Atlantic Ocean Road, Norway
"The Atlantic Ocean Road or the Atlantic Road (Norwegian: Atlanterhavsveien) is a 8.3-kilometer (5.2 mi) long section of County Road 64 which runs through an archipelago in Eide and Averøy in Møre og Romsdal, Norway. The fixed link passes by Hustadvika, an unsheltered part of the Norwegian Sea, connecting the island of Averøy with the mainland and Romsdalshalvøya peninsula. The road runs between the villages of Kårvåg on Averøy and Vevang in Eida. The road is built on several small islands and skerries, which are connected by several causeways, viaducts and eight bridges—the most prominent being Storseisundet Bridge."
The Atlantic Road zigzags across bridges and rock-fills from island to island right out at the ocean's edge. It is easy to park your car in one of the many lay-bys and walk a few metres to the smooth coastal rocks and some excellent fishing spots. A stone's throw or two to the west the shipping lane crosses the notorious waters of Hustadvika, concealing innumerable wrecks. Many people take a trip out here when the autumn storms start to rage - it is quite a sight when the big waves break beside (and sometimes across) the road. The road workers experienced 12 hurricanes during the construction of the Atlantic Road before it was opened in 1989. Around 1900 as many as 120 people lived on these windswept islands. They made their living from fishing and drying fish.

Dead Zones: Places Where No Animal Can Survive Found In Atlantic Ocean

www.undergroundworldnews.com
A team of German and Canadian marine biologists have for the first time ever witnessed so-called ‘dead zones’ in the Atlantic Ocean – places where no life can thrive, owing to there being almost no dissolved oxygen in the water.
Zones depleted of oxygen do exist in nature and have previously been discovered along populated coastal areas off the eastern and southern coasts of the United States and the Baltic Sea. But this is the first time such a place has been observed in the open ocean.
In a paper published in the journal Biogeosciences, researchers outline the existence of pockets of low-oxygenated patches of water in the Atlantic Ocean.
They are vast – sometimes 100 square miles in size. They travel constantly and are also seasonal. One of the biggest ever discovered forms each year in the Gulf of Mexico.
What makes these things tick is a hodge-podge of nutrients and microbes delivered from elsewhere. It’s a cyclical process: the nutrients are food for algae blooms, which in turn get devoured by microorganism. This creates waste, which is then eaten by other microbes. This process uses up a lot of oxygen, creating oxygen-free pockets.

I've always had a real interest in asteroids & comets & the effects they could have if they ever hit Earth. I guess the Chelyabinsk Meteor Event of 2013 sort of re-awakened my ongoing interest with the subject, which is why I decided to do this video.
I have created a fictional scenario & what the effect of this would be on our planet if this event occurred in the future. The scenario is of a 50 metre asteroid hitting the Atlantic Ocean. All the information I have used is factual & comes from sources that I have researched & found out from the internet myself. I used Dr Steven Ward's simulations of a 50 metre object hitting our planet & his website is at http://es.ucsc.edu/~ward/.
Most of the photos I have used I found on the internet. The music I have used is from the motion picture 'Avatar' & called 'The Bioluminescence of the Night'.
If you like this video please 'like', comment & subscribe to my You-Tube channel. To whomever it may concern please do not sue me I have done this purely for factual & entertainment purposes. Thank-you & Enjoy! :)

The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago in the Atlantic Ocean, just off Morocco in North Africa. Formed by volcanic eruptions and shaped by hot desert winds, they are comprised of 7 main islands.
When powerful seismic forces lifted these islands out of the ocean millions of years ago, they sculpted landscapes of unimaginable beauty. So spectacular are the Canary Islands that for centuries, it was believed that this archipelago formed the peaks of the legendary lost city of Atlantis.
Today, the Canary Islands are a magnet for sun seekers, beachcombers and adventurers from all over the world.
With, 160 miles of coastline, 150 beaches and a climate that feels like it is always spring, the island of Fuerteventura is a perfect place to slow down and relax.
A short ferry ride to the west of Fuerteventura is Gran Canaria - a place of ever changing climates and vistas.
This island abounds with otherworldly landscapes that have been inspiring visitors for centuries. Take a hike to Pilancones Natural Park. The spectacular plateaus and cool ravines in this area are around 12 million years old.
Tenerife, is the largest and busiest of the Canary Islands, receiving around 5 million visitors a year.
Or, choose to visit Lanzarote is the Canaries’ easternmost island and is sometimes called the “Island of 100 Volcanoes.”
Be humbled by Mother Nature’s destructive power on a tour of Timanfaya National Park. This region suffered a series of devastating eruptions in the 1700s and has remained largely unchanged ever since.
No matter which of these magnificent islands you choose, as the sun’s molten rays merge the ocean with the earth, you’ll realise this is a place where Mother Nature and history collide.
The mythical city of Atlantis may be a story, lost in the mists of time, but the Canary Islands are only a plane ride away. Whether you are searching for dramatic adventures or a sun-soaked vacation, this archipelago is alive with a powerful magic all its own.

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago situated in the Atlantic Ocean. This island is famous for stunning beaches, picturesque villages and year-round sunshine.
Just half an hour north of the international airport is Corralejo, one of the island’s largest resort towns and the perfect place from which to explore the Corralejo Dunes National Park.
At the island’s southern end is Morro Jable, a town famed for seafood restaurants and a picturesque lighthouse.
Gorgeous beaches run the length of the Jandia Peninsula, reaching all the way to Costa Calma. For something different, check out the pitch-black sands of Ajuy Beach.
Should you tire of Fuerteventura’s beaches, head inland to explore the island’s amazing volcanic landscapes and villages. Take the winding roads up to Mirador Morro Velosa on Mount Tegu for the best views on the entire island, then visit Puerto del Rosario, the island’s capital.
With it’s long Spanish history, Fuerteventura is also home to many romantic buildings and churches such as the parish church at La Oliva and the town hall in Pajara.
Cotillo is perhaps the most picturesque village on the entire island. Stroll the old harbour, which is still used by fisherman, and admire the original windmills.
In an archipelago acclaimed for beaches, Fuerteventura has been blessed with some of the biggest and most beautiful. Combined with its perfect weather and incredible landscapes, this is the perfect island to relax, recharge and reconnect with nature.

Travel video about destination Ireland.
Ireland is one of Europe’s most green and mysterious islands and everyone who visits this isolated island in the Atlantic Ocean is given a very warm welcome. Dublin is the capital of the Irish Republic and it is a city of musicians, poets and dreamers, as well as being a financial centre. Its many old buildings indicate its long and dramatic past. It was founded by the Vikings within a wonderful valley where the River Liffey flows into the Atlantic Ocean. After the Vikings, the Normans conquered the city and ruled over it for seven hundred years and under King Henry The Eighth Dublin became the capital of what was then a British colony. South west of Dublin is Kildare, the heart of Ireland’s horse racing. In 1902 the Irish national stud, Tully House, was founded there. Rich and eccentric Scottish brewery heir, Colonel William Hall-Walker, had the idea of a creating unique horse breeding scheme that would be based upon astrological calculation. The Wicklow Mountains are a natural paradise of mountains, swamps and lakes, beautiful valleys and a fascinating mountain landscape to the south of Dublin. Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown dates back to the twelfth century and is one of the most beautiful Cistercian ruins in Ireland. It was founded in around 1160 by Donal Mac Gillapatrick, the King Of Ossory. The Cistercians built the monastery in characteristic style and one of the stone sarcophaguses is said to contain the bones of Holy Nicolas who was buried there by the Crusaders. Although much of it has remained unspoiled, Ireland has undergone much change. It is a land of great natural beauty, healthy commercial success and excellent hospitality: a wild green island set in the wild Atlantic Ocean!

Travel video about destination Ireland.
Ireland is one of Europe’s most green and mysterious islands and everyone who visits this isolated island in the Atlantic Ocean is given a very warm welcome.Dublin is the capital of the Irish Republic and it is a city of musicians, poets and dreamers, as well as being a financial centre. Its many old buildings indicate its long and dramatic past. It was founded by the Vikings within a wonderful valley where the River Liffey flows into the Atlantic Ocean. Jerpoint Abbey near Thomastown dates back to the twelfth century. It is one of the most beautiful Cistercian ruins in Ireland.

Vacation travel video about destination Acores in Portugal.
The Azores islands are located between America and Europe and set amid the Atlantic Ocean, nine islands each with its own special landscape. São Miguel is Gateway to the Azores and the largest and most densely populated island of the Azores archipelago with steaming geysers, the opulent green of the tropics as well as numerous monasteries and settlements. Terceira is located in the middle of the archipelago. In the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries its natural harbour was an important port of call for numerous trading ships and Pacos Do Concelho, City Hall, indicates the city’s former prosperity. To the east of the island of Terceira is Serra Do Cume, a giant crater about ten kilometres wide. The interior of the crater consists of fields and pastures in which dairy cows graze peacefully. São Sebastião is probably the oldest settlement on the island and was where the first Portuguese settlers set foot ashore. Threatened by pirate attack, the people built fortified churches, decorated in Gothic splendour. Faial, the Blue Island, is one of the most visited islands in the archipelago and whose marina is well known throughout the world. It offers spectacular nature with a rocky coastline and volcanoes. Horta is the island’s capital and since 1976 has also been the seat of the Azores’ parliament. With their authentic nature and harmony, the Azores islands are still waiting to be discovered. A paradise set in eternal blue with islands that hold the secrets of nature and an abundance of local pride. Evergreen jewels set amid the Atlantic Ocean!

Barbados is the easternmost island in the Lesser Antilles. It is situated in the Atlantic Ocean, east of the other West Indies Islands.
The most important places to visit in Barbados are: Harrison's Cave (even on the hottest day in Barbados it's cool down below in this popular show cave, which is also a nice rainy-day option), Hunte's Garden (horticulturist Anthony Hunte has transformed a sink-hole in the middle of a rainforest into a lush and beautiful series of gardens that are open for tours that may include an encounter with Hunte himself), George Washington's House (George Washington really did sleep here -- he visited Barbados in his youth along with his brother, Lawrence, during his first foray outside what would later become (thanks to his leadership) the United States) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Barbados travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

St. Lucia is a sovereign island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea on the boundary with the Atlantic Ocean. Part of the Lesser Antilles, it is located north/northeast of the island of Saint Vincent, northwest of Barbados and south of Martinique.
The most important places to visit in St. Lucia are: St Lucia Volcano (is the only drive-in volcano in the world. There are several pots of boiling water that are above the normal boiling point and many colors at the surface as a result of sulfur, iron, calcium oxide, copper oxide, magnesium, carbon and other mineral deposited there), St. Lucia Beaches (there are several magnificent beaches in St Lucia. All you have to do sometimes is bring along your snorkel gear, play a few games or pull out a beach chair and frolic in the sun), St Lucia Hiking (you will have the opportunity to see the national bird, a breath taking view of the tallest mountain in St Lucia, mount Gimie and the forestry reserves) and many more.

Travel video about destination Bahamas.
Nassau is the capital of the island of New Providence which is one of the many islands of the Bahaman archipelago that extends for almost a thousand kilometres between Cuba and Florida in the Atlantic Ocean. New Providence is the commercial and political centre and is more commonly known as the Bahamas.Built between 1805 and 1813 in typical American southern style, the pink-coloured buildings of Parliament Square are the headquarters of the Bahamian government. In front of the white columned Neo-Classical parliament building is a noble statue of the English queen, Victoria, as a young girl. The colourful Caribbean Straw Market is a lively place. There are lots of fascinating things to see including skilful craftsmen who carve traditional objects from mahogany. Bags, baskets and hats made of straw are offered as souvenirs. Along the coast there are several caves in which pirates once hid their ill-gotten gains or argued over buried treasure. Cable Beach boasts a multitude of exquisite modern hotel complexes that cater for every need and several of them possess a casino. Naturally, each has its own lavish bathing areas and a vast choice of exciting entertainment. On a small hill on the western outskirts of Nassau is Fort Charlotte, today a popular tourist destination on the periphery of the city The Bahamas: the very name conjures up remote sandy beaches and turquoise blue water, romantic sunsets and tropical nights. A place where fantastic dreams become wonderful reality.

Travel video about destination Islas Canarias.
ISLAS CANARIAS, islands of happiness on the edge of the world, a sun-soaked paradise in the Atlantic Ocean, just off the mainland of Africa. LANZAROTE is the archipelago’s fourth largest island at the southern end of which is Playa Blanca, once a fishing village and today a harbour. Rugged beauty born of fire and water, a volcanic paradise. And La Geria is a well-known wine growing region. FUERTEVENTURA is the second largest island of the Canary archipelago. In the extreme north of the island is Corralejo that developed into a ferry port and, within a fewdecades, a bustling holiday resort. GRAN CANARIA is the third largest of the seven Canary Islands. Las Palmas is the capital of the island and metropolis of the Canary archipelago, colourful and multicultural, with a great history. The palm lined Plaza Santa Ana is the centre of Vegueta in which both spiritual and temporal power have existed since the time of the conquistadors. Santa Ana Cathedra, an imposing brown stone building whose twin towers dominate the old town, has for centuries been the largest religious building in the Canary Islands. TENERIFE is known as the island of eternal spring. Santa Cruz De Tenerife, north east of the island, is its capital, port and commercial metropolis with classical buildings and splendid monuments that indicate its colourful past. The Canary Islands - picturesque, subtropical sun-filled pearls set within the Atlantic!

Vacation travel video about destination Madeira in Portugal.
Funchal is the capital of the Atlantic island of Madeira and is situated in a natural, picturesque bay, surrounded by steep mountain slopes. With churches, palaces, mansions, museums and magnificent gardens, it is a city of both character and history. The Museum Of Religious Art is to be found in the former bishop’s palace. The sugar trade with Antwerp meant that paintings and other works of art could be used as payment. Madeira has long been famous for its wine, stored in wooden barrels to mature and then exported all over the world. In the old rooms of a former monastery, it is pressed, matured and celebrated. At the beginning of a valley, São Vicente lies hidden beyond the steep slopes of the northern coastline. The tastefully restored centre of the village contains a seventeenth century church with a Baroque interior. There are gilded carvings, tile pictures and paintings on the altar. At an amazing acute angle, the gondola from the mountain station below the village of Achadas Da Cruz travels three hundred metres down to the coast and back. This most beautiful Baroque church on the north coast was established in São Jorge. Its external simplicity gives little hint of its internal beauty: gilded wood carvings and illusionist paintings adorn the church and its altar. To the east of Madeira is the natural bay of Machico, the oldest settlement on the island. Today, Madeira’s third largest city extends from the coast to the hills of the wide and fertile valley of the Machico River whose inhabitants live from the cultivation of fruit, vineyards and fishing. Its extraordinary landscapes and exotic fragrances have been captivating visitors for centuries. Madeira, wild beauty amid the Atlantic Ocean!

Vacation travel video about destination Tenerife in Spain.
Tenerife is the largest of the seven Canary Islands, captivating, mysterious and vibrant, the ‘island of eternal spring’. It is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean and located just three hundred kilometres from the African continent.Santa Cruz De Tenerife, north east of the island, is its capital, port and commercial metropolis. The Capitania General, which once served as the seat of the island’s military governors, recalls the time of General Franco’s rule. In addition to the Canary’s flora and fauna, the abundant remains of an extinct culture is particularly interesting, the islands’ indigenous people, the Guanches. Well-preserved mummies, which have been found in numerous caves, document their mummification ritual. Puerto De La Cruz is located on the splendid north coast, a city where both old and new combine and with a fishing and harbour district that were founded around five hundred years ago. With its Neo Classical bell tower, the Francia De La Peña Church dominates among palms, oleander and hibiscus. Teide National Park contains solidified boulders of lava and pumice fields that originated from volcanic activity. A huge crater formed around five hundred thousand years ago when the primal Teide Volcano erupted repeatedly. An island born of fire and water where remarkable weather, mysterious volcanoes and deep blue sea determine everyday life and where vegetation and moon landscapes capture the attention. Tenerife is most certainly the priceless pearl of the Canary Islands.

Portugal. The 5 and half thousand square meters large southern part of the once proud colonial empire is Algarve, bathing all year in the sun. From the hilltops, moor forts look down on to the surroundings. In the old towns narrow roads lead up to the magnificent Manuel-style temples. The buildings are ornamented by Azulejos, moor painted tiles. The monuments and statues summon adventurers and explorers: Magellan and Vasco De Gama. The country is full of fishing villages, palm trees, vine arbours, olive tree orchards, and orange gardens. The Playa de Rocha and the other sandy beaches are surrounded by large cliffs, stone archs and lagoons. On the hill of Moniche we travel among pine trees and para oaks. From the lighthouse of the Saint Vincent cape we can only see the endless Atlantic Ocean, which the medieval man thought to be the end of the world.

Travel video about destination Golfe du Marbihan in France.
The Golfe Du Morbihan is situated on the south coast of Brittany and protects the region from the strong currents of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a fascinating coastal landscape with huge castles and extensive sand dunes.Influential and wealthy ship owners once settled here. They ran the East India Trading Company that earned high taxes for the French monarchy. The present day harbor makes it difficult to believe that it was once a busy centre of trade with the distant Orient. The town’s well preserved buildings indicate its former wealth and ferryboats travel to the village on the opposite side of the Lorient, which still boasts a splendid array of huge warehouses. The megaliths of Carnac are stone relics that are 1,000 years old and date back to the middle of the Neolithic Period. Although they have been analysed by scientists, they are nonetheless full of mystique as four long avenues of mighty stone known as ‘Alignments’ extend across 8 kilometres of scenic terrain. The enchanting medieval city of Auray is situated on a bend of the Rivière d'Auray that flows into the Golfe Du Morbihan. The city has earned its place in the history books of Brittany. Here, two families once fought to rule this land and a battle decided which one!The attractive charm of the Brittany landscape owes much of its allure to its picturesque old stone houses and idyllic bays. The Golfe Du Morbihan, with its numerous islands both large and small, is a French paradise set along the rugged Atlantic coast.

norwegian nature "The Atlantic Ocean Road or the Atlantic Road (Norwegian: Atlanterhavsveien) is a 8.3-kilometer (5.2 mi) long section of County Road 64 which runs through an archipelago in Eide and Averøy in Møre og Romsdal, Norway.

Miami is a city located on the Atlantic coast in southeastern Florida and the county seat of Miami-Dade County. The 42nd largest city proper in the United States, with a population of 408,568, it is the principal, central, and most populous city of the Miami metropolitan area, and the most populous metropolis in the Southeastern United States.
The most important places to visit in Miami are: Ocean Drive (the yearlong party atmosphere makes Ocean Drive the most exhilarating place in the United States), Art Deco Architecture (nowhere else in the world would you find such a concentration of colorful Art Deco style buildings), Vizcaya Museum and Gardens (a national historical landmark. It is a European style villa surrounded by lush gardens), Everglades (a unique natural environment. Get close and personal with alligators. Airboat rides are highly recommended), Beaches (some of the country's best beaches are here, and clearly the most fashionable) and many more.
If you want to save time and money, the most important Miami travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on http://bookinghunter.com, a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.
