  • Lara Jean Marshall played Lisa Atwood. Lara continued her acting career after The Saddle Club. She studied at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) at the University of Melbourne. Some of her work includes 'The Doctor Blake Mysteries' and the short film 'Penny'.

  • Brett Tucker played Max Regnery. Although Brett didn’t appear until season three, he is probably the most recognisable out of the whole cast. Having a successful career he has featured in 'Blue Heelers', 'McLeod’s Daughters' and 'Neighbours'. He is currently playing Harry Davis in the TV series 'Mistresses'.

Based on the books, The Saddle Club follows the lives of Stevie, Carole and Lisa, three aspiring equestrians developing their riding skills at Pine Hollow Stables.

The Saddle Club first aired in 2001 and finished in 2003. Back by popular demand, the show was renewed for a third season, however, the original cast were considered too old and replaced with new actors.
