Daily Life’s Women of the Year recognises and celebrates women who have taken a bold, public stand on the issues that matter most to Australian women. These aren’t only high profile faces, but also activists, scientists, journalists, business leaders and everyday citizens who have sparked social change in the past 12 months.
This year, we are excited to partner with ANZ, whose commitment to supporting women has led to a raft of initiatives aimed at creating a more equal future.
The 2015 Woman of the Year winner is Human Rights Commission President Gillian Triggs, who was recognised for her unwavering strength and commitment to protect the rights of asylum seekers and refugees.
