I made this video to play around with my new camera: Samsung nx300. I wanted to see how it performed visually, handling, low light settings, depth of field, and clarity.
I'm just taking a walk around the city I live here in Korea. I live in Hopyeong, Namyangju area of Gyeonggi -do Korea. About 1 hour outside of Seoul by train!

Namyangju is a city in Gyeonggi Province, South Korea. To the east is Gapyeong County, to the west is Guri City, and to the north is Pocheon City.
Namyangju historical character: Jeong Yak-yong, also Jeong Yag-yong or Dasan[茶山](1762–1836), was a leading Korean philosopher during the Joseon Dynasty. He is widely regarded as the greatest of the Silhak thinkers, who advocated that the formalist Neo-Confucian philosophy of Joseon return to practical concerns. Jeong Yag-yong and his brothers were also among the earliest Korean converts to Roman Catholicism. Jeong was born, and also ended his days, in modern-day Namyangju, Gyeonggi province

Beberapa hari yang lalu aku dan beberapa teman Indonesia mengunjungi Slow Life Planet 2015. Acara ini diadakan oleh Organisasi Slow Life dengan tujuan untuk memperkenalkan visi mereka serta kebudayaan dunia kepada masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat Seoul.
Di video ini aku berbagi pengalaman mengamati berbagai kebudayaan mulai dari Sombrero milik Meksiko sampai Tarian dari suku Indian. Aku juga berkesempatan menikmati kuliner dari berbagai belahan dunia dan aku pengen mengajak teman-teman untuk menjelajahi stand-stand makanan yang sangat mengundang selera (dan mengancam dompet) selama berada di acara ini. Yuk kita ikutin! :)

Kembali lagi dengan Catatan Ontang di Korea, Kk.
Beberapa hari yang lalu aku mengunjungi salah satu kawasan bersejarah di Seoul, yaitu Kastil Gyeongbokgung. Dengan Harga Tiket yang hanya sebesar 3000 Won, kita bisa merasakan pengalaman kehidupan di masa-masa kerajaan Korea jaman dahulu. Bangunan-bangunannya masih kokoh berdiri meskipun usianya sudah ratusan tahun. Kawasan ini didirikan pada 1395 jadi bisa dibayangkan sendiri bagaimana panjangnya perjalanan kawasan Gyeongbokgung ini. Meskipun beberapa bagian telah mengalami renovasi, nuansa masa lalu masih sangat terasa di kawasan ini.
Kalau kamu datang di saat yang tepat, bakalan ada Tour Guide berbahasa asing (Jepang, China, dan Inggris) yang akan menjelaskan makna dan cerita di balik masing-masing bagian kawasan ini. Jadi kalau kamu mau main ke sini, pastikan kamu datang dimana tour ini dilaksanakan. Jadwal lengkapnya bisa dicek di web resmi Gyeongbokgung ( http://www.royalpalace.go.kr/html/eng/main/main.jsp ) .
Selain itu di kawasan ini juga terdapat National Folk Museum yang menjelaskan kehidupan rakyat Korea dari masa ke masa. Dan enaknya lagi, masuk ke sini gratis kalau sudah beli tiket masuk Gyeongbokgung-nya! Kurang enak apalagi coba!
