The Spider is an American pulp-magazine hero of the 1930s and 1940s.
The Spider was created in 1933 by Harry Steeger at Popular Publications as direct competition to Street and Smith Publications' vigilante hero, the Shadow. Though similar, The Spider was millionaire playboy Richard Wentworth, who had served as a Major in World War I, and was living in New York City unaffected by the financial deprivations of the Great Depression. The ninth pulp has him as the last surviving member of a rich family.
Wentworth was easily identified as The Spider by his enemies in a number of earlier novels and was arrested by the police but quickly escaped, adopting a disguise and associated alias Tito Caliepi, donning make-up, a wig of lank hair, a black cape, and slouch hat. Later in the pulp series, vampire-like makeup appeared and then a face mask with grizzled hair; a hunchback was then added to terrorize the criminal underworld with The Spider's brand of violent vigilante justice. (Actor and comedian Harold Lloyd previously had used a similar mask, lank hair wig, and hunchback in the comedy film Dr. Jack (1922)). Caliepi sometimes begged, utilizing Wentworth's talent with a violin.
The following are characters from the television show Thumb Wrestling Federation.
Originally a rebellious wrestler from a bad environment, Vini was once part of a rowdy gang that oppresses anyone inferior in their vicinity, he is the protagonist of the cartoon series. Upon entering a gym, Vini rejuvenated himself and became devoted in protecting defenceless individuals. He then founded the Mighty Dexteras and became its leader. He's signature move is the Vini Vidi Vada Voom. With it, he strikes the opponent left and right three times before pinning them. He was active in the first and second season but didn't participate in the third. His name is somewhat based on Veni Vidi Vici, the Latin version of Julius Caesar's quote. He is voiced by Wayne Grayson.
Hometown Huck is a fighter from Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to his wrestling career, Huck helps others or called numbers at bingo games. When entering the arena, he has a way of greeting other by calling out names of places (e.g. countries or cities). Huck, along with Vini Vidi Victory, also serves as a judge for newcomers who wish to join the The Mighty Dexteras he's voiced by Christopher Kromer. His signature move is the Hometown Shuffle. he winds up and then lands blows on the opponent in a fanciful way every time his fans utter the name of the move, and then ultimately pinning the opponent. In a match against Bucks Gazillion, it is shown that Huck can't perform the Hometown Shuffle without fan support (Bucks silenced them by giving ice cream, thus resulting Huck's defeat). He was the winner of the inaugural TWF tournament.

"Itsy Bitsy Spider" (also known as "Incy Wincy Spider" and several other similar sounding names) is a popular nursery rhyme and fingerplay that describes the adventures of a spider as it ascends, descends, and reascends the downspout or "waterspout" of a gutter system (or, alternatively, the spout of a teapot or open-air reservoir). It is usually accompanied by a sequence of gestures that mimic the words of the song. Its Roud Folk Song Index number is 11586.
A commonly used version uses these words and gestures:
Other versions exist. The version in the video above, for example, says went instead of climbed.
The song can be found in publications including an alternate version in the book, Camp and Camino in Lower California (1910), where it was referred to as [the classic] "Spider Song". It appears to be a more different version of this song using “blooming, bloody” instead of just "itsy bitsy". It was later published in one of its several modern versions in Western Folklore, by the California Folklore Society (1948), Mike and Peggy Seeger's, American Folk Songs for Children (1948), and The Growing Family: A Guide for Parents by Maxwell Slutz Stewart (1955). In 2013 Maziar Bahari's company Off-Centre Productions created an animated version of the song featuring an animated mouse character called Journo.

It's the spider season for giant jumping attacking spiders. This massive spider was highly active and very fast moving, possibly it's spider breeding season. Mum helped keeping an eye on the big spiders movements while I set up the GoPro camera to my Dyson DC59 stick vac. It's the first big spider my DC59 cleaner has captured in my spider infested home. Record Summer rain in Sydney has possibly driven the spiders into my home looking for dry shelter. I have no problem with these spiders living outside but once they are in my home they are considered a pest. These spiders have killed humans via road accidents caused by spider fright. Just a cold hard fact that most people seem to ignore. In nature there is an amazing natural killer of these spiders. They are Spider Wasps and I have an amazi...

I have fought a Grizzly Bear,
Tracked a Cobra to its lair,
Killed a Crocodile who dared to cross my path,
But the thing I really dread
When I've just got out of bed
Is to find that there's a Spider in the bath.
I've no fear of Wasps or Bees,
Mosquitoes only tease,
I rather like a Cricket on the hearth,
But my blood runs cold to meet
In pyjamas and bare feet,
With a great big hairy spider in the bath.
I have faced a charging Bull in Barcelona,
I have dragged a mountain Lioness from her cubs,
I've restored a mad Gorilla to it's owner,
But I don't dare face that tub ...
What a frightful looking beast -
Half an inch across at least -
It would frighten even Superman or Garth!
There's contempt it can't disguise,
In the little beady eyes,
Of the Spider sitting glowering in the bath.
It ignores my every lunge
With the backbrush and the sponge;
I have bombed it with 'A present from Penarth'.
It just rolls into a ball,
Doesn't seem to mind at all,
And simply goes on squatting in the bath.
For hours we have been locked in endless struggle,
I have lured it to the deep end by the drain.
At last I think I've washed it down the plughole,
Here it comes a-crawling up the chain!
Now it's time for me to shave,
Though my nerves will not behave,
And there's bound to be a fearful aftermath.
So before I cut my throat,
I shall leave this final note;
