Some people were unhappy with how Fallout 4 turned out, missing the features that were introduced by Fallout: New Vegas before being dropped again.
(We weren't - we loved it.)
Some of those people, however, are part of the modding community. As such we're starting to see the trickle of lost features returning through fan-made modifications.
Traits and More, by Cirosan, brings back the double-edged traits of New Vegas. These operate differently to perks - instead of just giving you an outright bonus, traits give something but take something else away.
As such, there's a bit more strategy to choosing them and a bit more risk in blindly upgrading your character.
The mod is available over on the Fallout 4 Nexus, and obviously it is free. And - at least for the time being - PC-only.
