Book Wench Comments: Couldn’t you wait until I was, like, fully centred before you took my picture? (Yes it’s about a belligerent teenage vampire.)

Dead Stuff With Big Teeth Comments: With this cover, it’s the little things. Such as ‘Her right hand has a weak grip on the handle.’ And ‘The bat on the pommel would make it hard to sheathe the blade.’ And ‘Goodness, is that MY face?’

Good Show Sir’s Art Direction: Like a day at the office… but with monsters… mushrooms… and a gun!

Many thanks to Erin!
Tom Noir’s Art Direction: Here it is, this is gonna blow your minds: a hot babe getting felt up in an open grave! But make it black-and-white so we can slip it past the censors. Put some bats in there too. OH! And make sure the bats have boobs.

E’s Art Direction: If you could work a lime green fur shawl and a jedi-master rip off in there, that’d be great.

Frank Comments: Saw this at the Friends of the Library sale where I volunteer, and remembered one of my brothers had a copy of it when I was very young. I remember being very creeped out by the image of the stuffing coming out of the open head. And they did it again on the back cover!

Brian’s Art Direction: What makes vampires scary? Exactly: it’s their lack of proportion. It’s their slightly big heads and taste for late-80s haircuts. Imagine a vampiress Bonnie Tyler. Get to it.

Many thanks to Brian!
Some artists define a generation: Picasso, Michelangelo, Paul Klee… I want you to be inspired by their works and create something for me. Think of these things: hookers, cats, bats, stereotype vampires, a real man with long cheesy hair holding his long sword. And to make it art, we place them all…. between worlds! Together, my friend, we will define the next generation!
