Plot: Our story takes place at the end of the 1960s. This is the time of the collapse of the ideals of a more just and honorable life brought into prominence by students worldwide in the great rebellion in 1968 and of the beginning of the end of an equally grand illusion called Yugoslavia. Andjelko is the principal of a middle school in a small Bosnian place Dubica. He believes in Yugoslavia and worships its leader Josip Broz Tito. Andjelko, however, has one serious fault: he is a forger, he makes forged school diplomas. He does not do this out of self-interest, but because he is a staunch philanthropist. One day, a neighbor for whom Andjelko forged the leather-working school diploma, in order to take revenge on the local veterinarian, reports to the police that this one too has Andjelko's diploma. Our hero is, therefore, forced to flee to the big city. He lives there illegally, at the harborers of outlaws for whom he once forged diplomas. But one day, Andjelko runs into his schoolmate Suljo, who is a member of the National security. Suljo arrests Andjelko and this one ends up in jail.

Plot: The story of a ten years old boy who, as most of the children in Yugoslavia of the fifties can hardly imagine his life without the great national leader - marshal Tito. In his school, he wins the contest for the best Tito's composition. His reward is the participation in "Tito's native land" march. He claims in his work that he loves Tito more than his Dad and Mom, which makes them desperate. He does not understand what is so confusing and weird in his love towards the leader. This march will be a difficult temptation for him. Unaccustomed to nature, walks and independent living, harassed by the teacher, Stalinist, he fails, gets lost in the mountain and his life changes.

Josip Broz Tito of Yugoslavia is Still No.1 in Balkan?
There has never been a leader from the west Balkans who has been so prominent in world affairs as Josip Broz Tito. To compare, just look at any political figure today and they are not even near of being anywhere in sight of what Tito was. It’s almost hard to imagine that a leader from the former Yugoslav republics got the red carpet in USA, Soviet. A leader who met all the important leaders and wh

Od godine 1937. njen organizacijski, a zatim i glavni tajnik (u nazivlju partije: organizacioni i generalni sekretar). Organizator i neprikosnoveni vođa Narodnooslobodilačkog rata 1941.-1945..
Godine 1907.-1910. uči bravarski zanat i pohađa šegrtsku školu. Upisuje se u Savez kovinarskih radnika, i time također postaje i član Socijaldemokratske stranke Hrvatske i Slavonije.
Uči ruski i čita mnoga djela ruskih klasika, naročito romane Tolstoja, Turgenjeva, Kuprina i drugih.
Srpnja 1918. Omsk osvaja Češka legija.

Dobio je i upalu pluća i jedva preživio. Uči ruski i čita mnoga djela ruskih klasika, naročito romane Tolstoja, Turgenjeva, Kuprina i drugih.
Srpnja 1918. Omsk osvaja Češka legija.

Marshal Josip Broz Tito (born Josip Broz; Serbo-Croatian pronunciation: [jɔ̌sip brɔ̂ːz tîtɔ]; Cyrillic: Јосип Броз Тито; 7 May 1892[nb 1] -- 4 May 1980) was the leader of the Yugoslav Partisans, Europe's most effective anti-Nazi resistance movement[8][9] and a Yugoslav revolutionary and statesman, serving in various roles from 1945 until his death in 1980.[10] While his presidency has been criticized as authoritarian,[11][12][13] Tito was "seen by most as a benevolent dictator"[14] due to his successful economic and diplomatic policies and was a popular public figure both in Yugoslavia and abroad.[15] Viewed as a unifying symbol,[16] his internal policies successfully maintained the peaceful coexistence of the nations of the Yugoslav federation. He gained international attention as the chief leader of the Non-Aligned Movement, working with Jawaharlal Nehru of India, Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt and Sukarno of Indonesia.[17]
He was General Secretary (later Chairman of the Presidium) of the League of Communists of Yugoslavia (1939--80), and went on to lead the World War II Yugoslav guerrilla movement, the Partisans (1941--45).[18] After the war, he was the Prime Minister (1943--63), President (later President for Life) (1953--80) of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia (SFRY). From 1943 to his death in 1980, he held the rank of Marshal of Yugoslavia, serving as the supreme commander of the Yugoslav military, the Yugoslav People's Army (JNA). With a highly favourable reputation abroad in both Cold War blocs, Josip Broz Tito received some 98 foreign decorations, including the Legion of Honour and the Order of the Bath.
Josip was born as the seventh child to Croat father Franjo Broz and Slovene mother Marija Javoršek in the village of Kumrovec in Croatia. Drafted into military service, he distinguished himself, becoming the youngest Sergeant Major in the Austro-Hungarian Army.[19] After being seriously wounded and captured by the Imperial Russians during World War I, Josip was sent to a work camp in the Ural Mountains. He participated in the October Revolution, and later joined a Red Guard unit in Omsk. Upon his return home, Broz found himself in the newly established Kingdom of Yugoslavia, where he joined the Communist Party of Yugoslavia (KPJ).

Marshall Tito was a man who accomplished many things. He led the resistance against the Nazi occupation throughout World War II, established independence from the USSR in 1948, and formed a way of communism (Titoism) that actually succeeded in keeping Yugoslavia its own country, keeping Yugoslav people prosper with steady progress... Where Stalin and Mao failed, Marshall Tito succeeded and made history. He will always be remembered as theYugoslavian leader who succeeded with communism...

Josip Broz, genannt Tito (l'Empreinte de Tito)

There has never been a leader from the west Balkans who has been so prominent in world affairs as Josip Broz Tito. To compare, just look at any political figure today and they are not even near of being anywhere in sight of what Tito was. It’s almost hard to imagine that a leader from the former Yugoslav republics got the red carpet in USA, Soviet. A leader who met all the important leaders and when he died had a massive, and perhaps the biggest, burial ceremony. Back then people had something whereas today each republic is struggling.
For good or worse, one cannot say anything else. Tito is still the number 1 man. But remember he is also a natural born thug and has a dark history.
Here's a slide of photos just to show you what and where Yugoslavia was back then when he ruled. You can see Kennedy, Nixon, Soviet leaders and generally a bunch of dictators. Also the Swedish and British royalty... etc etc.
Just to mention Đuro Pucar, who plays chess with Tito in the video (0:20), gave away a part of Bosnia & Herzegovia after WWII while being drunk. It was Sutorina and is still debated today since Montenegro who got it doesn't have any legal right to it. Other than a drunk mans scribble on a piece of paper.
Worth mentioning is that Tito wasn't an angel but Yugoslavia as such could have had still been around. If it had managed a stable development and earlier integration with the EU and the west.

Serbian authorities say that Jovanka Broz, the widow of ex-Yugoslav communist leader Josip Broz Tito, will be buried with military honours at the same complex where her late husband's tomb is located.
A government committee said on Monday that the funeral will be held at noon on Saturday.
It says the military honours were assigned because of Broz's role in World War II anti-Nazi movement.
Jovanka Broz, who was married to Tito for nearly 30 years but lived in isolation as the federation he had built broke apart, died on Sunday. She was 88.
"She was an incredible and caring woman. A woman who would always give good advice. A good listener when we had some problem. And a woman who really deserved high honours for everything she did during their marriage," said Tito's grandson, Joska Broz.
Broz was wounded twice while fighting with the Partisan communist resistance movement, led by Tito, that fought the Nazi occupiers of Yugoslavia during World War II.
Broz fought in the first female brigade of the guerrilla group.
She first became Tito's personal secretary after the war before becoming his wife in 1952.
The couple did not have children.
Tito died in 1980, and the six-member federation fell apart in early 1990s in a series of ethnic conflicts.
Seven independent nations emerged after warfare that left about 100,000 people dead and millions homeless.
Following Tito's death, his successors accused Broz of ambitions to take over the country and placed her under house arrest.
Broz said she was kicked out of her residence, which was ransacked and her personal belongings impounded.
Later, as Tito's personality cult crumbled and his once-glorified role in Yugoslavia's history came under scrutiny, Broz mostly remained in isolation.
In a rare interview in 2001, she told the Blic newspaper that she lived in a Belgrade house without heating and often no electricity, and that she had no income or property to support herself.
She did not hold valid Serbian identity documents until 2009, when a pro-democracy Serbian government moved to improve her status.
