In 2013, Bangladesh continued to prove itself a resilient nation. The country achieved significant development results towards sustainable development pathways, inclusive and effective democratic governance and managing risks. UNDP, working in partnership with the government, development partners, and the people of Bangladesh, played key roles in many of its successes, helping to improve the lives and livelihoods of poor people across Bangladesh.
