Fouchon (Lance Henriksen) and his men follow Chance's trail to the cabin of Uncle Douvee (Wilford Brimley), who has a few surprises up his sleeve.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
John Woo's first Hollywood feature stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Chance Boudreaux, a down-and-out Cajun merchant seaman, who, after saving a young woman, Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler), from a gang of thugs on the streets of New Orleans, agrees to help her search for her father (Chuck Pfarrer), a homeless Vietnam vet. They locate local businessman Randall Poe (Elliott Keener), for whom the vet had been working, and learn that her father has become a victim of wealthy sportsman Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen), who, along with his cronies, hunts homeless men as a form of recreation. After Fouchon finds out that the girl is investigating the murder of her father, he arranges for she and Chance to be ambushed, but they manage to escape into the backwoods of Louisiana -- his stomping grounds. Realizing he needs to regroup, Fouchon assembles a private army to invade the bayous. They track the pair to the rustic cabin of Chance's Uncle Douvee (Wilford Brimley), and the real fireworks begin.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
Navy special operations forces go to the Middle East to free a helicopter crew taken captive by terrorist Ben Shaheed (Nicholas Kadi). After learning that Shaheed has killed a hostage and acquired missiles on the black market, Lt. James Curran (Michael Biehn) and Lt. Dale Hawkins (Charlie Sheen) consult with a reporter who is an expert on Shaheed and his motives. As Shaheed embarks on his plan to violently derail regional treaty talks, the special operations forces make their move.

Chuck Pfarrer
Charles Patrick "Chuck" Pfarrer, III (born April 13, 1957, Boston, Massachusetts) is an American novelist, screenwriter, and former U.S. Navy SEAL from Biloxi, Mississippi.
Biography
Pfarrer was born in Biloxi, Mississippi, the son of Charles Patrick Pfarrer, Jr., a career naval officer, and Joan Marie Pfarrer, a registered nurse.
He graduated from Staunton Military Academy, and studied Clinical Psychology at California State University at Northridge and the University of Bath in the United Kingdom. Pfarrer went through Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training (BUD/S) in 1981 and spent 8 years as a Navy SEAL. He served as a military advisor in Central America, trained NATO forces in Europe and the Mediterranean, undertook duties in the Middle East, notably in Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. As executive officer of the SEAL Team assigned to the Multi-National Peacekeeping Force, he witnessed the 1983 Marine barracks bombing in Beirut. Pfarrer was one of the SEAL Team leaders responsible for the apprehension of Abu Abbas and the hijackers of the cruise ship Achille Lauro. Pfarrer ended his service as Assault Element Commander at the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group (DEVGRU), formerly known as SEAL Team 6.

Hard Target
Hard Target is a 1993 American action film directed by Chinese film director John Woo in his American directorial debut. The film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Chance Boudreaux, an out-of-work Cajun merchant seaman who saves a young woman, named Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler), from a gang of thugs in New Orleans. Chance learns that Binder is searching for her missing father (Chuck Pfarrer), and agrees to aid Binder in her search. Boudreaux and Binder soon learn that Binder's father has died at the hands of wealthy sportsman Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen) who hunts homeless men as a form of recreation. The screenplay was written by Chuck Pfarrer and is based on the 1932 film adaptation of Richard Connell's 1924 short story, The Most Dangerous Game.
Hard Target was Woo's first American film and was also the first major Hollywood film made by a Chinese director. Universal Pictures was nervous about having Woo direct a feature, and sent in director Sam Raimi to look over the film's production and to take Woo's place as director if he were to fail. Woo went through several scripts finding mostly martial arts films with which he was not interested. After deciding on Chuck Pfarrer's script for Hard Target, Woo wanted to have actor Kurt Russell in the lead role, but found Russell too busy with other projects. Woo then went with Universal's initial choice of having Jean-Claude Van Damme star. Woo got along with Van Damme during filming and raised the amount of action in the film as he knew that Van Damme was up for it.

Osama bin Laden
Osama bin Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden (/oʊˈsɑːmə bɪn moʊˈhɑːmᵻd bɪn əˈwɑːd bɪn ˈlɑːdən/; Arabic: أسامة بن محمد بن عوض بن لادن, usāmah bin muḥammad bin 'awaḍ bin lādin; March 10, 1957 – May 2, 2011) was the founder of al-Qaeda, the organization that claimed responsibility for the September 11 attacks on the United States, along with numerous other mass-casualty attacks against civilian and military targets. He was a Saudi Arabian, a member of the wealthy bin Laden family, and an ethnic Yemeni Kindite.
Bin Laden was born to the family of billionaire Mohammed bin Awad bin Laden in Saudi Arabia. He studied at university in the country until 1979, when he joined mujahideen forces in Pakistan fighting against the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. He helped to fund the mujahideen by funneling arms, money and fighters from the Arab world into Afghanistan, and gained popularity among many Arabs. In 1988, he formed al-Qaeda. He was banished from Saudi Arabia in 1992, and shifted his base to Sudan, until U.S. pressure forced him to leave Sudan in 1996. After establishing a new base in Afghanistan, he declared a war against the United States, initiating a series of bombings and related attacks. Bin Laden was on the American Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) lists of Ten Most Wanted Fugitives and Most Wanted Terrorists for his involvement in the 1998 U.S. embassy bombings.

FILM DESCRIPTION:
John Woo's first Hollywood feature stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Chance Boudreaux, a down-and-out Cajun merchant seaman, who, after saving a young woman, Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler), from a gang of thugs on the streets of New Orleans, agrees to help her search for her father (Chuck Pfarrer), a homeless Vietnam vet. They locate local businessman Randall Poe (Elliott Keener), for whom the vet had been working, and learn that her father has become a victim of wealthy sportsman Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen), who, along with his cronies, hunts homeless men as a form of recreation. After Fouchon finds out that the girl is investigating the murder of her father, he arranges for she and Chance to be ambushed, but they manage to escape into the backwoods of Louisiana -- his stomping grounds. Realizing he needs to regroup, Fouchon assembles a private army to invade the bayous. They track the pair to the rustic cabin of Chance's Uncle Douvee (Wilford Brimley), and the real fireworks begin.

Navy special operations forces go to the Middle East to free a helicopter crew taken captive by terrorist Ben Shaheed (Nicholas Kadi). After learning that Shaheed has killed a hostage and acquired missiles on the black market, Lt. James Curran (Michael Biehn) and Lt. Hard Target is a 1993 American action film directed by Hong Kong film director John Woo in his American debut. The film stars Jean-Claude Van Damme as Chance Boudreaux, an out-of-work Cajun merchant seaman who saves a young woman, named Natasha Binder (Yancy Butler), from a gang of thugs in New Orleans. Chance learns that Binder is searching for her missing father (Chuck Pfarrer), and agrees to aid Binder in her search. Boudreaux and Binder soon learn that Binder's father has died at the hands of wealthy sportsman Emil Fouchon (Lance Henriksen) who hunts homeless men as a form of recreation. The screenplay was written by Chuck Pfarrer and is based on the 1932 film adaptation of Richard Connell's 1924 short story "The Most Dangerous Game".
Hard Target was Woo's first American film and was also the first major Hollywood film made by a Chinese director. Universal Pictures was nervous about having Woo direct a feature, and sent in director Sam Raimi to look over the film's production and to take Woo's place as director if he were to fail. Woo went through several scripts finding mostly martial arts films with which he was not interested. After deciding on Chuck Pfarrer's script for Hard Target, Woo wanted to have actor Kurt Russell in the lead role, but found Russell too busy with other projects. Woo then went with Universal's initial choice of having Jean-Claude Van Damme star. Woo got along with Van Damme during filming and raised the amount of action in the film as he knew that Van Damme was up for it.
After 65 days of filming in New Orleans, Woo had trouble with the Motion Picture Association of America to secure the R rating that Universal wanted. Woo made dozens of cuts to the film until the MPAA allowed it an R rating. On its initial release, Hard Target was a financial success but received mixed reviews from film critics.

Thema: "Ermutigung für Mitarbeiter Gottes"
Predigttext:
"Wir sind Gottes Mitarbeiter; ihr seid Gottes Ackerfeld und Gottes Bau. Ich nach Gottes Gnade, die mir gegeben ist,
habe den Grund gelegt als ein weiser Baumeister; ein anderer baut darauf. Ein jeder aber sehe zu, wie er darauf baut.
Einen andern Grund kann niemand legen als den,
der gelegt ist, welcher ist Jesus Christus. Wenn aber jemand auf den Grund baut Gold, Silber, Edelsteine, Holz, Heu, Stroh, so wird das Werk eines jeden offenbar werden.
Der Tag des Gerichts wird's klarmachen; denn mit Feuer wird er sich offenbaren. Und von welcher Art eines jeden Werk ist, wird das Feuer erweisen. Wird jemandes Werk bleiben,
das er darauf gebaut hat, so wird er Lohn empfangen. Wird aber jemandes Werk verbrennen, so wird er Schaden leiden; er selbst aber wird gerettet werden, doch so wie durchs Feuer hindurch.
Wisst ihr nicht, dass ihr Gottes Tempel seid und der Geist Gottes in euch wohnt?"
1. Du kannst mitarbeiten, weil die Grundlage da ist!
-- Wir müssen nicht bei „Null“ anfangen; andere haben schon vor uns hier gearbeitet
-- Die eigentliche Grundlage, ist das, was Jesus getan hat und tut
-- Für uns persönlich ist das sehr entlastend.
-- Es ist letztlich gar nicht möglich, das Fundament Jesus zu ersetzen
2. Du kannst mitarbeiten, weil die Arbeit sich lohnt!
-- Es ist nicht umsonst, wenn ich mich für Gott einsetze; es gibt Lohn
-- Diese Belohnung wird sich nicht unbedingt nach menschlichen Maßstäben richten
-- Wenn ein Christ nicht vor Gott bestehen wird, wird er trotzdem gerettet
-- Wir haben keinen Anspruch auf Lohn
