//LYRICS
It’s okay, just listen to me, listen to me
It’s alright, I know it’s unfamiliar to us
And we’re young, maybe too young for this
But we’re strong, and we know we can make this work
Where do you feel like you can go when you’re sick of me?
Maybe we didn’t it through but we’re here now
And I owe you an apology for every time I’ve stepped below the benchmark
I’m sorry I let you down and can’t explain it
I feel lost, I can’t articulate this feeling
If we were older maybe this would be easier
If we give up now we might never have a chance
Where do you feel like you can go when you’re sick of me?
Maybe we didn’t it through but we’re here now
And I owe you an apology for every time I’ve stepped below the benchmark
Where do you feel like you can go when you’re sick of me?
Sick of me.
Where do you feel like you can go when you’re sick of me?
Maybe we didn’t it through but we’re here now
And I owe you an apology for every time I’ve stepped below the benchmark

Martin Sheen on His Life, Movies, Celebrity, Peace, the Environment, and Social Justice (1995)

Ramón Antonio Gerardo Estévez (born August 3, 1940), better known by his stage name Martin Sheen, is an American actor who achieved fame with roles in the films Badlands (1973) and Apocalypse Now (1979). Since then, Sheen's more well-known films include Wall Street (1987), Gettysburg (1993), The Departed (2006), and The Amazing Spider-Man (2012). He also starred on television as President Josiah Bartlet in The West Wing (1999--2006), and lent his voice as the Illusive Man in the Mass Effect video game trilogy.
He is considered one of the best actors never to have been nominated for an Academy Award.[2] In film he has won the Best Actor award at the San Sebastián International Film Festival for his performance as Kit Carruthers in Badlands. His portrayal of Capt. Willard in Apocalypse Now earned a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor. Sheen has worked with a wide variety of film directors, such as Richard Attenborough, Francis Ford Coppola, Terrence Malick, David Cronenberg, Mike Nichols, Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg, and Oliver Stone. He has had a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame since 1989. In television he has won both a Golden Globe and two Screen Actors Guild awards for playing the role of President Josiah Bartlet in The West Wing, and an Emmy for guest starring in the sitcom Murphy Brown.
Born and raised in the United States from immigrant parents, he adopted the stage name Martin Sheen to help him gain acting parts.[3] He is the father of four children (Emilio, Ramon, Carlos (better known as Charlie Sheen), and Renée), all of whom are actors, as is his younger brother Joe Estevez.
Although known as an actor, Sheen has also directed one film, Cadence (1990), appearing alongside sons Charlie and Ramon. He has also narrated, produced and directed in documentary television, earning two Daytime Emmy awards in the 1980s. In addition to film and television, Sheen has also been active in liberal politics.
In 2010, Martin Sheen first spoke to 18,000 young student activists at Free The Children's We Day, explaining "While acting is what I do for a living, activism is what I do to stay alive."[26]
Although he did not attend college, Sheen credited the Marianists at University of Dayton as a major influence on his public activism, as well as Archbishop Desmond Tutu.[27] Sheen is known for his outspoken support of liberal political causes, such as opposition to United States military actions and a hazardous-waste incinerator in East Liverpool, Ohio. Sheen has resisted calls to run for office, saying: "There's no way that I could be the president. You can't have a pacifist in the White House . . . I'm an actor. This is what I do for a living."[28] Sheen is an honorary trustee of the Dayton International Peace Museum.
He supported the 1965 farm worker movement with Cesar Chavez in Delano, California.[29] He is a proponent of the Consistent life ethic, which advocates against abortion, capital punishment and war.[30] He also supports the Democrats for Life of America's Pregnant Women Support Act.[31] In 2004 along with Rob Reiner, Sheen campaigned for Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean, and later campaigned for nominee John Kerry.
On May 16, 1995, Martin Sheen and Paul Watson from the non-profit environmental organization Sea Shepherd, were confronted by a number of Canadian sealers in a hotel on Magdalen Islands over Sea Shepherd's history of attacks on sealing and whaling ships. Sheen negotiated with the sealers while Watson was escorted to the airport by police.[32] In 2000, Sheen got involved in support of gun control after the National Shooting Sports Foundation hired his politically conservative brother, actor Joe Estevez who sounds like Sheen, to do a voice over for a pro-gunmaker commercial earlier in the year.[33][34] In early 2003 Sheen signed the "Not in My Name" declaration opposing the invasion of Iraq (along with prominent figures such as Noam Chomsky and Susan Sarandon); the declaration appeared in the magazine The Nation. On August 28, 2005, he visited anti-Iraq War activist Cindy Sheehan at Camp Casey. He prayed with her and spoke to her supporters. He began his remarks by stating, "At least you've got the acting president of the United States," referring to his role as fictional president Josiah Bartlet on The West Wing.[35] Cindy Sheehan had been demanding a second meeting[36] with the President, George W. Bush.

"a2c" or Atsushi Yokoyama (stage name is believed to be a play on his name), is the guitarist of the Japanese doujin band, MintJam.
Those of you who know me well and/or share my musical tastes...you knew this was coming! a2c was my favorite guitarist for years after I came across MintJam's work. I want to say Michiya Haruhata is #1 for me, but I would probably honestly keep them tied for the top spot. Haruhata is so professional and famous, but a2c has that down-to-earth, relatable feel. They're both absolutely incredible, GODS in my eyes. If not for a2c I would not be a guitar player myself.
Basically years ago I downloaded a huge ass torrent of video game remixes. It was a time in my life when I discovered that other people share my love of game music, and the art of remixing/covering it, so I was trying to soak up everything I could, and seek out the best of the best. Well the torrent contained some MintJam stuff, I remember specifically it had "Red Tint" and "The Bright Sunshine's....Glint". I think "Red Tint" was the first one I listened to. At the time, I did not know the source, but the song made a wonderful impression on me. This was ALSO a time when I was shaping my preferences when it came to instrumentals and what path I was going to go down. Being that I grew up around J-RPGs and their music, I've always had this Japanese sound and style ingrained in me. Since I was 6 or 7, when I got into games.
Anyway, I ended up checking out all of MintJam's stuff and was very impressed. This was the exact style I believed was the best - from the tone to the phrasing to the positive energy. I just loved it. But it wasn't until I came across "Rain of Sorrow" did I truly know how much I loved a2c. Although it's true, I rank "Words" above that. Only because it has been in my five "favorite" songs for years. I don't think I have ever changed it when it comes on shuffle, and I always keep it rated 5/5 on iTunes so it's in my Top Rated playlist. I have never in my life heard a song that says "I love you" more than that, without a single word. Which to me, explains the title. The ending solo is so full of emotion, it often makes me tear up and smile.
So yes, a2c and MintJam are some of my absolute favorites, that influence my style and just myself as a person to get through life and grow into whatever the hell I'm working toward. While everyone around me is listening to pop, country, classic rock, rap...I'm listening to this stuff. But this is who I am, this is my type of music. I love them to death and I hope you enjoy the work I have to share.

Joshua Kierkegaard G. Steele, better known by his stage name Flux Pavilion, is an English dance music record producer, singer-songwriter, DJ and label owner who has been performing since 2008. He plays the drums, guitar, saxophone and piano.
Flux Pavilion has headlined three US tours, two UK tours, and several festival DJ sets, including Glastonbury, Reading, Coachella, and EDC Vegas. He has also made live performances with Example, Foreign Beggars and Chiddy Bang. Flux has listed his sound to be inspired by The Prodigy and Rusko.
Influenced by the likes of David Bowie, The Beatles and Frank Zappa in the early years, it was when he heard 90's phenomena The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers that Flux Pavilion knew he had found a musical direction he truly wanted to explore for himself. A deluge of musical projects followed, writing instrumental hip hop and dirty drum & bass, joining local bands and producing for other acts all while studying at university. But the major turning point for the musician was a visit to London super club Fabric:
"I never went to clubs because I didn't feel accepted into that scene; it felt too showy, too well-groomed. Then I saw Rusko play at Fabric and it changed my perception of everything. He was jumping around wearing a big cardboard hat shaped like a bird playing the most outrageous music I had ever heard. I loved it."

Kid Capri is the stage name of David Anthony Love, Jr. (born February 7, 1967), an American DJ and rapper.
Kid Capri was born in The Bronx, New York City, New York, USA. He is the son of David Love, Sr., a musician and singer.
In the 1970s, Kid Capri began to attend block parties, starting his DJ career at age 8. His stage name was taken from a girl he used to date who was eventually "murdered by accident." During class one day, she had said to him, "Kid Capri sounds like a good name for a DJ," and he later took her suggestion. He eventually garnered widespread attention at Studio 54 and began selling his sets with his partner at the time, Starchild.
Kid Capri has deejayed for seven seasons of Def Comedy Jam. He has produced tracks for Boogie Down Productions, Heavy D, Big L, Grand Puba. He eventually released an LP on Warner Brothers Records titled The Tape in 1991. He appeared in the 1993 movie Who's the Man?. In 1997, Kid Capri signed with the Track Masters' Columbia Records-distributed label after he appeared on the 1997 Puff Daddy and the Family World Tour. He has subsequently released Soundtrack to the Streets in 1998.
Kid Capri has been involved in his own record label, No Kid'n Records. He was featured on the itshiphop.tv show The Breakdown, in which he talked about his current and future projects, his views on Japan's hip hop scene, and the origin of his stage name. On July 29, 2007, Kid Capri made an appearance during Rock The Bells 2007 as Rakim's DJ. Kid Capri also made an appearance as Rakim's DJ during the Rock The Bells 2008 show on July 19, 2008 in Tinley Park, Illinois.
Kid has been featured as lead judge on Smirnoff's Master of the Mix, the BET reality TV competition in search of the nation's best DJ. In March 2012, Kid was commissioned to remix "Masterpiece", an exclusive track featured on the special Smirnoff Nightlife Edition of Madonna's album, MDNA. He joined her for the album release party in Miami as a part of Winter Music Conference, and the album was released on March 26, 2012.

Michael David Rosenberg, better known by his stage name Passenger, is gearing up for a marathon Australian tour which kicks off this Friday, 16th January in Hobart. The English folk singer-songwriter will be playing some mammoth venues during the trek, including Sydney’s Qantas Credit Union Arena and The Adelaide Entertainment Centre, a far cry from the street corners and regional pubs that he and his guitar once graced.
“I used to come play all over the place in Australia,” he tells Music Feeds. “I used to stay here for 6 or 9 months at a time… and play all sorts of regional shows and busk everywhere.”
And despite referring to himself as “that weird English man with the beard”, Rosenberg says his time in the land Down Under has led to him feeling like one of our own homegrown musos. “Half of me feels like a domestic act because I’ve been here for so long,” he says.
And to reward the Aussie audiences who have stood by him for so many years, the troubadour has announced that he will perform a secret show tonight, Wednesday, 14th January, in Sydney — and he’s giving away all the tickets for free. Unfortunately, however, the details are hard to come by.
“Not allowed to reveal anything about it”, he says. “Actually the FBI are involved at quite a high level. And Barack Obama. It goes straight to the top.” However, we can reveal that keen fans can email passenger@iemusic.co.uk for details and a shot at getting on the guest list. Make it snappy!

Little Richard Interview with Bill Boggs
Richard Wayne Penniman (born December 5, 1932), known by the stage name Little Richard, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, recording artist, and actor...
Richard Wayne Penniman (born December 5, 1932), known by the stage name Little Richard, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, recording artist, and actor, considered key in the transition from rhythm and blues to rock and roll in the mid-1950s. He was also the first artist to put the funk in the rock and roll beat[4][5] and contributed significantly to the early development of soul music.[6][7] The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame website entry on Penniman states that:
He claims to be "the architect of rock and roll", and history would seem to bear out Little Richard's boast. More than any other performer -- save, perhaps, Elvis Presley, Little Richard blew the lid off the Fifties, laying the foundation for rock and roll with his explosive music and charismatic persona. On record, he made spine-tingling rock and roll. His frantically charged piano playing and raspy, shouted vocals on such classics as "Tutti Frutti", "Long Tall Sally" and "Good Golly, Miss Molly" defined the dynamic sound of rock and roll.[8]
Penniman began performing on stage and on the road in 1945, when he was in his early teens.[3] He began his recording career on October 16, 1951[9] by imitating the gospel-influenced style of late-1940s jump blues artist Billy Wright,[10] who was a friend and also helped arrange his first sessions. He recorded for RCA Records from 1951-52 and for Peacock Records beginning in 1953. Dissatisfied with his lack of commercial success during this time, Penniman formed a new "hard-driving" R&B; road band in 1953. By early 1955, a demo tape of his music caught the attention of Specialty Records president Art Rupe, who bought out his contract from Peacock and arranged for him to record for Specialty in September 1955. Under the guidance of Robert "Bumps" Blackwell, Penniman began recording in a style he had been performing onstage for years,[11] featuring varied rhythm (derived from everything from drum beats he would hear in his voice to the sounds of trains he would hear thundering by him as a child), a heavy backbeat, funky saxophone grooves, over-the-top gospel-style singing, moans, screams, and other emotive inflections, accompanied by a combination of boogie-woogie and rhythm and blues music.[3] This new music,[12][13] which included an original injection of funk into the rock and roll beat,[5][8] inspired many of the greatest recording artists of the twentieth century and beyond, including James Brown,[14] Elvis Presley,[15] Otis Redding,[6] Bob Dylan,[16] Jimi Hendrix,[6][17] The Beatles,[18][19] Rolling Stones,[20][21] Led Zeppelin,[22] Michael Jackson,[23] and generations of other rhythm & blues, rock, soul, as well as funk and rap artists.[24][25][26][27]
On October 12, 1957, while at the height of stardom, Penniman abruptly quit rock and roll music and became a born-again Christian.[28] He had charted seventeen original hits in less than three years.[29] In January 1958, he enrolled in and attended Bible college[30] to become a preacher and evangelist and began recording and performing only gospel music for a number of years. He then moved back and forth from rock and roll to the ministry, until he was able to reconcile the two roles in later life.[31]
Penniman was among the first group of inductees into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986 and one of only four of those artists (along with Ray Charles, James Brown, and Fats Domino) to also receive the Rhythm and Blues Foundation's Pioneer Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2003, Penniman was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame.[32] In 2007, his 1955 original hit "Tutti Frutti" was voted Number 1 by an eclectic panel of renowned recording artists on Mojo's The Top 100 Records That Changed The World, hailing the recording as "the sound of the birth of rock and roll."[33][34] In 2010, The United States of America's Library of Congress National Recording Registry added the groundbreaking recording to its registry, claiming that the hit, with its original "A-wop-bop-a-loo-mop-a-lop-bam-boom!" a cappella introduction, heralded a new era in music.[.- Wikipedia

wn.com/Little Richard Interview With Bill Boggs
