The South Africa Country Programme is guided by national policy as stated in the MTSF, draft National Development Plan: Vision 2030, the Joint Evaluation Report, the Partnership Framework Agreement and the UNDAF (2013-17). The strategic vision for the programme seeks to match South Africa’s needs and priorities with UNDP’s capabilities, in pursuit of a more inclusive society characterised by diminishing disparities and an increasing circle of prosperity.

The MDG 2013 Report
The 2013 report includes the domesticated indicators which are applicable to the South African context. The key feature and contributor in the 2013 MDG report has been the availability of data emerging out of the Population Census of 2011.
