EU Support to District Development Programme (EU-SDDP)
The European Union Support to District Development Programme (EU-SDDP) funded by the European Union is a 60-month Programme aimed at assisting Sri Lanka to make a transition from post-conflict assistance to reconstruction and development. 'One stop' mobile clinics providing communities access to justice
Displaced due to conflict, 18-year old Manickarajah Sulochana, of Vavuniya in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka, migrated to India in 1990, just after getting married. She had three children in India, but when she returned to Sri Lanka in 2010, she didn’t have documentation for her children.

The Report was launched on the 12th of August, 2014, coinciding with the International Youth Day.

Together, communities build back with resilience
AusAID, UNDP and other partners initiated “Strengthening Disaster Management Capacities in Conflict Affected North and Eastern Provinces in Sri Lanka,” a project to create village resilience development plans for vulnerable communities in Sri Lanka.
