UNDP Response in Syria

To respond to the increasing socio-economic challenges, UNDP scaled up its early recovery and resilience interventions in 2014 taking into consideration basic needs prioritized by local communities in affected areas including both IDPs and host communities. Given the protracted nature of the crisis, host communities have overstretched their resources and residents are competing over services, resources and community infrastructure.
