Terryana Fatiah (born June 18, 1984),better known as Terry is an Indonesian singer. She is best known after singing recycled song "Janji Manismu", which success become hit in Indonesia.

Early life

Terry was born in Jakarta and resides in Central Jakarta, Jakarta. She began singing since a kid.

Singing career

Terry started her career on 2004 as professional back-up singer for band Dewa 19 and singer Audy. On the same year she was recording song with Rio Febrian on song "Katakanlah" for Febrian's album Ku Ada Disini. Her first single was Koes Plus's song titled "Hatiku Beku" who made her known as singer in Indonesia and that song appeared on compilation album titled "Now And Forever" in 2006. And on the same year, she released her first self-titled album "TERRY" with first single "Janji Manismu" which became hit in Indonesia and made her become new rising singer in Indonesia. Her second single was "Kepingan Hati" but this song failed on Indonesia music chart. On 2007, Terry got a chance to duet with singer from France Julian Cely for his first Indonesia album on song "Tentang Kita". That song was mix between Indonesian and France languages On 2011, she released her second album titled "Are You Ready" with single "Harusnya Kau Pilih Aku".

Terry's

Terry's was a British chocolate and confectionery maker based in York, England. It was founded in 1767 and in 1993 it was taken over by Kraft Foods. The company's headquarters, later renamed The Chocolate Works factory, was closed by Kraft in 2005; products using the Terry's brand name are now produced in Kraft facilities in Poland, Sweden, Belgium, and Slovakia. The Terry's name eventually became part of Mondelēz International.

History

In 1767, Robert Berry opened a shop close to Bootham Bar, York, selling cough lozenges, lemon and orange candied peel, and other sweets. He became partners with William Bayldon, and they renamed the business Bayldon and Berry Confectionery.

Joseph Terry, who was born in Pocklington, went to York to serve as an apprentice apothecary in Stonegate. On gaining his certificates, he set up as a chemist in Walmgate. After marrying Harriet Atkinson in 1823, Terry met Robert Berry, his wife's elderly uncle. After William Bayldon left the confectionery business, Terry agreed to become a partner; he closed his chemists shop and joined the confectionery business, which was now based in St Helen's Square, York.
