Super fun electrical circuit problem that uses KVL, KCL, and Ohm's Law to solve for ALL the currents and voltages within a circuit!
KVL is Kirchhoff's Voltage Law.
KCL is Kirchhoff's Current Law.
The general approach to these types of problems is to find several relationships between your knowns and unknowns within the circuit. Then, try to find a way to solve for one unknown at a time.

How to solve circuits using Nodal analysis
- Select one of the Nodes as Datum Node.
- Name the voltage on all the nodes you want to solve.
- Assume a direction of all the currents ( entering or leaving ) in a specific node.
- Write KCL equation for that node
- Replace the currents with their value according to Ohm's Law.
- Solve the equations and find the value of unknown voltages.
- Use this data to find the value of currents in each element of the circuit.

How to solve circuits using Nodal analysis
- Select one of the Nodes as Datum Node.
- Name the voltage on all the nodes you want to solve.
- Assume a direction of all the currents ( entering or leaving ) in a specific node.
- Write KCL equation for that node
- Replace the currents with their value according to Ohm's Law.
- Solve the equations and find the value of unknown voltages.
- Use this data to find the value of currents in each element of the circuit.
