Lois Hackbert Hart Walker (born on February 5, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia) is a retired journalist. She co-anchored the evening news in Sacramento on KCRA-TV with her husband, Dave Walker, from 1990 through 2008.
Lois first joined KCRA in the 1970s and later worked at KOVR. After her marriage to Dave Walker in 1979, the two left Sacramento to join CNN, whose very first newscast they anchored in 1980. In 1989, they left CNN to anchor for CNBC; Hart anchored CNBC Mornings, Money Wheel, and America's Vital Signs. The two returned to KCRA in 1990.
Hart and Walker retired on November 26, 2008.
Hugh Anthony Cregg III (born July 5, 1950), better known by his professional name Huey Lewis, is an American singer, songwriter, and actor.
Lewis sings lead and plays harmonica for his band, Huey Lewis and the News, in addition to writing or co-writing many of the band's songs. The band is best-known for their third, and best-selling, album Sports, and their contribution to the soundtrack of the 1985 feature film Back to the Future. Lewis previously played with the band Clover from 1972 to 1979.
Huey Lewis was born in New York City. His father, Hugh Anthony Cregg, Jr., MD, was an Irish American from Boston, Massachusetts, and his mother, Maria Magdalena, was Polish, from Warsaw.
Lewis was raised in Marin County, California, attending Strawberry Point Elementary School (where he skipped second grade) and Edna Maguire Junior High School in Mill Valley. When he was 13, his parents divorced. He attended and graduated from the Lawrenceville School, an all-male prep school in New Jersey, in 1967, and he achieved a perfect score of 800 on the math portion of the SAT. He was also an all-state baseball player. Lewis attended Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. His mother entered a relationship with Beat Generation poet Lew Welch who became Lewis' stepfather.
News is packaged information about current events happening somewhere else; or, alternatively, news is that which the news industry sells. News moves through many different media, based on word of mouth, printing, postal systems, broadcasting, and electronic communication.
Common topics for news reports include war, politics, and business, as well as athletic contests, quirky or unusual events, and the doings of celebrities. Government proclamations, concerning royal ceremonies, laws, taxes, public health, and criminals, have been dubbed news since ancient times.
Humans exhibit a nearly universal desire to learn and share news from elsewhere, which they satisfy by traveling and talking to each other. Technological and social developments, often driven by government communication and espionage networks, have increased the speed with which news can spread, as well as influenced its content. The genre of news as we know it today is closely associated with the newspaper, which originated in China as a court bulletin and spread, with paper and printing press, to Europe.
David Walker (born 25 January 1945, in Walsall, West Midlands, England) is a singer and guitarist for a number of bands; notably Savoy Brown and Fleetwood Mac. He shortened his name to Dave Walker. He started his career in the early 1960s with a Brumbeat R & B band called The Redcaps, who included his twin brother Mick Walker (born Michael Walker, 25 January 1945, in Walsall); and continued into the 21st century, with Donovan's Brain.
Other bands he played in include Beckett, Idle Race, Hungry Fighter, Raven, Mistress and Black Sabbath.
Walker was raised by his strict grandmother in a household where rock and roll was not allowed to be watched on television. His first experience with public singing came at a very young age at a Methodist church, where Dave volunteered to sing "Away in a Manger". As teenagers, Dave and his brother Mick formed a "backyard skiffle" group which played at weddings and youth gatherings.
Walker started his career in the early 1960s with a Brumbeat R & B band called The Redcaps. He initially played rhythm guitar, and later took over as lead vocalist after Ronnie Brown "King" left. The band included Roy Brown and Mick Blythe on guitars, Alan Morley on drums, Mike Walker on bass and Mac Broadhurst on saxophone. They recorded three singles for Decca Records, who were trying to cash in on the success of The Beatles, as The Redcaps had opened for The Beatles in concert on four occasions.

Compilation of many small bits of the 90s and 2000s husband and wife anchors. I imagine lots of 2007 and 2008 clips exist since that's when social media started taking off (they retired in November '08), so these are the harder to find ones. Has a 1996 election bumper, some extended 2004 promos and intro. The final story a funnier one with Dave narrating one about a Panettone bread and them eating some as the story closes.
Former KCRA 3 anchors Dave Walker and Lois Hart share their relaxing and exciting lives away from the busy world of the TV newsroom.

After all, Sofia has totally ripped-off Abi's sound and look. This is a news story that I shot with KCRA reporter-anchor Dierdre Fitzpatrick about getting young people involved in their community through photography. A few days before I'd just got my new Panasonic DVX-100A. We decided to shoot this in 24p mode and make it look like film. You'll see by the reaction of KCRA anchors Dave Walker and Lois Hart at the end that the filmlook mode made the story stand out.

When I close my eyes, I can almost taste you
I can't face you, you're still too strong
And it's no surprise, I can't erase you
I tried to replace you but it all went wrong
'Cause seeds don't crawl off the mountains
And they don't fall, fall from the tree
And they don't drop, not when you're counting
Or maybe that's my sweet philosophy
Yeah, yeah, yeah
When I close my eyes, I dream about you
Tell me how to, tell me how not to
Grab on to something new
I looked my fate past through
But instead I keep on holding on
I keep holding on when I close my eyes
I think about you, I just can't let you go
