Frangipani Cottage is situated on our one hectare property in Jaspers Brush which is just south of Berry. From the front verandah, the view extends past the dam to Seven Mile Beach, Coolangatta Mountain and the Shoalhaven River. All around are green rolling hills and it's worth getting up early in the morning to watch the sun rise over the ocean. Ducks can be seen swimming on the dam which is also home to many frogs who will sing you to sleep each night. Depending on the timing of your stay, there may be water lilies or irises in bloom. There is a resident wombat whose home is on the southern boundary, and you may also be lucky enough to spot an echidna. Birdlife is plentiful including crimson rosellas, galahs, willie wagtails, blue wrens, green parrots, black cockatoos, currawongs and kookaburras, plus you will hear the sounds of many birds in the rainforest on the escarpment to the west. The property is at the end of a small lane of only three homes, so it is incredibly quiet and has no passing traffic. It is fully self contained and very comfortable with all linen and towels provided. Although it is approx only 20 metres from the main house, it is completely private. Breakfast provisions will be placed in the fridge at the beginning of your stay, and normally include eggs (from our chooks), bacon, muesli, yoghurt, butter, home-made jams and marmalade, juice, Sourdough Bakery bread, fresh milk, a bowl of fruit as well as a variety of teas and coffee. A bottle of local wine and a cheese platter will also be awaiting your arrival. There are a variety of books, CD's and DVDs which should suit most tastes.
The cottage is not suitable for pets.
Three night minimum stay public holiday weekends, four night minimum over Easter. Weekend rate applies to a two night booking that includes a Friday or Saturday. Weekend rate applies to public holidays. One night stays accepted midweek at the weekend rate of $225
Local Attractions
The delightful village of Berry is only ten minutes away, and there you will find a choice of cafes, restaurants, books, antiques, homewares and fashion shops. There are many bushwalks in the area or you may wish to visit one of the many excellent wineries and sample their produce. Further afield are Gerringong, Geroa and Seven Mile Beach to the North, or the Shoalhaven River, Bundanon (Arthur Boyd's gift to the nation) and Jervis Bay to the South, as well as Kangaroo Valley to the West.

Relaxation!A beautiful place to stay and recharge the batteries, magnificent garden to enjoy as well. Would definitely stay here again! Everything we needed, all the little extra's made it so much easier to go away for the weekend.

Lovely Place to Stay!The cottage itself is lovely, it has all the comforts you need in a home away from home. Although the cottage itself is very private, Lynda and her husband were great hosts who were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to others!

A little oasisLoved our stay in this gorgeous little oasis! The owners have gone to great lengths to think of all the little things to make for a very comfortable stay. Very good value with a generous breakfast offering, as well as big cheese platter & wine. All your needs are anticipated and the caretaker even put the heater on before our arrival as we arrived after dark. Can't recommend highly enough and will look forward to returning!

Relax and RefreshNeed to have some down time? This is the place to go! Beautiful location in a cottage with everything you could want. Our best advice would be to stay a week to enjoy the local area fully.

it's the little extras that make it unforgettableAmazingly picturesque and peaceful property hidden away in the hilltops. The cottage is beautifully done, with all the amenities you need. Lynda goes above and beyond with all the extras including freshly laid eggs, bacon, fresh bread, milk, juice and fruit, multiple cereal options, a good bottle of chardonnay from the local vineyard. She even set up a cot for us last minute and posted my phone charger back to me free of charge.
