IBM Maximo Asset Management is an enterprise asset management (EAM) software solution product produced by IBM. It is a solution which is used to operate, maintain and dispose of enterprise assets. It focuses on the following types of assets:

EAM is globally known to be critical in asset intensive industries, i.e., utilities, oil & gas, pharma., rail & transit, heavy manufacturing, and facilities including hospitals, campuses and hotel.

The current release, IBM Maximo Asset Management 7.6, is the third release built upon a J2EE service-oriented architecture. It is an Enterprise Asset Management, Service Management and IT asset management suite of applications that are scalable and easily integrated into existing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Máximo (wrestler)

José Christian Alvarado Ruiz (born November 8, 1980) is a Mexican Luchador or professional wrestler best known under the ring name Máximo (Spanish for "Maximus"), who work for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) as Máximo Sexy. Alvarado is the son of José Alvarado Nieves, who wrestles as Brazo de Plata, the grandson of Shadito Cruz and part of the extended Alvarado wrestling family. Alvarado wrestles as an Exótico character, a character that appears to be homosexual but he is married to wrestler India Sioux and together they have a son.

Early life

José Christian Alvarado Ruiz was born on November 8, 1980 son of professional wrestler José Alvarado Nieves (Brazo de Plata), into an extended family of wrestlers. The young José Christian grew up watching his father and his uncles wrestle all over Mexico and wanted nothing more than become a professional wrestler himself. He was trained for his professional wrestling debut by his grandfather Shadito Cruz and his father Brazo de Plata. He would later on receive further training by El Hijo del Gladiador, Shocker, Memo Díaz and Franco Columbo.

Rocha (surname)

Rocha is a Portuguese family name. It literally means “rock” or “boulder” in Portuguese; for instance, “rochas sedimentares, metamórficas e magmáticas” means “sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks”. It is also a topographical surname that is found in Portugal as “da Rocha” or simply Rocha, literally, "one who is from/of the rock".

The roots of the name are in the Middle East, believed to originate from Sephardi Jews. The family migrated to Europe when the Roman empire took over Israel and destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 CE. The first documented usage of the surname in Portugal was from a Monsignor de la Roche, who arrived in Portugal on his way to the Holy Land from possibly Flanders during the reign of Afonso III of Portugal, and assisted in the taking of Silves from the Moors. Afonso III of Portugal granted this gentleman lands in Torres Novas and other locales for his services. His descendants used the Portuguese version of the word, ‘da Rocha’.

Another wave of the Roche family, after the Jewish diaspora, moved to the Diocese of Fermoy, Ireland. After, they migrated to Portugal where they were viscounts during the reign of Joao I. This family helped with the Portuguese war against Castile and this gentleman had three sons, Gomes, Louis, and Raymond. It is from D. Gomes da Rocha where the Portuguese version of the name continued onto later generations.
