Fact-based story about a 1975 cover-up of a shooting by two white members of the Boston Tactical Unit. While on stakeout on a suspected getaway car used in a armed robbery, the two gunned down a black man who entered the car. The two claimed the man had a gun and they shot in self-defense. Police investigation decided it was a rightful shooting. The man's widow knew her husband would not be carrying a weapon and became determined to prove her husband's innocence. She hired a former cop who had become a lawyer to prove her case. Working with his four sons, the lawyer team takes on the police force in what eventually proved to be a landmark legal decision.

The Real McCoys Full Episodes 1957–1963 Season 5 Episode 28 - Grampa believes Cousin Sarah needs help with her marriage.
The Real McCoys revolves around the lives of a mountain family who originally hailed from fictional Smokey Corners, West Virginia. The McCoys moved to California and became dirt farmers. The family consisted of Grandpa Amos McCoy (Walter Brennan); his grandson Luke (Richard Crenna), Luke's new bride Kate (Kathy Nolan), Luke's teenage sister Hassie (Lydia Reed), and his 11-year-old brother, Little Luke (Michael Winkelman). The double-naming of the brothers was explained in the first episode by the elder Luke: Because their parents were so excited over the birth of the younger boy, "they forgot all about me!" Only Crenna was in every episode.
The McCoys' farm had previously been owned by an uncle, Ben McCoy, who died. The former West Virginians joined the Grange farm association and acquired a Mexican farm hand named Pepino Garcia, played by the Puerto Rican-born Tony Martinez. In the episode which aired on January 8, 1962, Pepino becomes an American citizen and takes the surname name "McCoy". The McMichaels, a brother and sister combination played by Andy Clyde and Madge Blake in twenty-nine and twenty-one episodes, respectively, lived on the hill not far from the McCoys. Amos McCoy and George MacMichael, both rather devious individuals, would sometimes quarrel, particularly over their games of checkers. Kate was friendly with Flora McMichael, George's sister, and became involved with life in the community. Though still in her twenties, Kate served as a mother figure for Luke's younger siblings, Hassie and Little Luke, and one episode shows her bewilderment in trying to entice the children to take responsibility for their school studies. Many episodes have a moral theme consistent with the conservative views of Walter Brennan, such as two 1957 segments entitled "You Can't Cheat an Honest Man" with Joseph Kearns, later of Dennis the Menace, and "Gambling Is a Sin," in which Amos allows a casino to advertise on McCoy property before the ethics of the matter is brought to his attention.[1] Other such episodes are "Go Fight City Hall", "The Taxman Cometh," "You Can't Always Be a Hero", "You Never Get Too Old," "Where There's a Will", "Beware a Smart Woman", "Money in the Bank", "How to Win Friends," "You're As Young As You Feel", "Honesty Is the Best Policy", and "Never a Lender Be".
From the hills of West Virginia, Amos McCoy moves his family to an inherited farm in California. Grandpa Amos is quick to give advice to his three grandchildren and wonders how his neighbors ever managed without him around.

Mini-series set against the backdrop of politico-religious upheaval in late-1970s Iran. Ross Perot (Richard Crenna) seeks out retired Army colonel Arthur "Bull" Simons (Burt Lancaster), who organizes a team of war vets from Perot's IT company EDS to rescue two colleagues, held without charges by the faltering Iranian government. Based on Ken Follet's book of the same name, the events which are depicted occurred less than a year before American embassy workers were taken hostage in the wake of the Iranian Revolution that ousted the Shah.
The repetitious opening credits of Part II were edited out to maintain story continuity. This did not affect any scenes or dialogue.

The Real McCoys Full Episodes 1957–1963 Season 5 Episode 29 - When Grampa and George win a baby pig in a raffle, Kate, Luke and Pepino want to keep it as a pet, but Grampa and George are thinking more along the lines of lunch.
Cop Beck (Crenna) thinks rape victims "bring it upon themselves" to be raped but has a mind-changing experience when he himself is raped by a couple of white trash
felons, one of whom actually says he's going to make him "squeal like pig".
IMDB review:
Very Powerful 10/10 Author: cwdfwtx from texas 25 February 2002
A movie about rape with a shocking twist ,This time a straight man gets sodomized by the criminals he's after ,Richard Crenna gives a powerful and tender performance
as a macho cop who thinks he's all that and ends up being violated sexually by two sadistic criminals in an alley.
This is a tale that in reality I'm sure has happened to men but you never hear about it ,Usually its women who are raped and its public knowledge but for a man to get
raped is so much more a violation to me.
To see a man like Richard Crenna go through the humiliation of rape was powerful and gripping. His emotional journey and the fact that he has been violated in such a
terrible way is shocking. After he is raped ,he becomes more aware of his emotions and his sensitivities as a man and his machoness a front to cover his tender side .
All in all a good movie that shows you a dark side of people we rarely hear about whether your gay or straight ,you should watch this movie . Strong performances by
all.

Director: Karen Arthur
Writer: James G. Hirsch
Cast:
Richard Crenna - Richard Beck
