Hello! Welcome back! Taking you behind the scenes in this video on a recent business trip to Algonquin Park. We had five beautiful days in the northeast corner of Algonquin Park. The trip started off with hubby catching a gorgeous lake trout and we canoed our way to the beautiful Barron River and Barron Canyon. This video shows a little more of what we do as content providers; rather than content creators. I did not film as much as I would have liked of what goes into our production shoots - our priority for this trip were our clients but I am glad I was able to get some quick behind the scenes shots to share with you.

Canoe
A canoe is a lightweight narrow boat, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel using a single-bladed paddle. In some European countries, like the United Kingdom, the term canoe is often used for both canoes and kayaks, with canoes called Canadian canoes then. This is seen in the International Canoe Federation nomenclature.
Canoes are used for racing, whitewater canoeing, touring and camping, freestyle, and general recreation. The intended use of the canoe dictates its hull shape and length and construction material.
Historically, canoes were dugouts or made of bark on a wood frame, but construction materials evolved to canvas on a wood frame, then to aluminum. Most modern canoes are made of molded plastic or composites such as fiberglass. Until the mid-1800s the canoe was an important means of transport for exploration and trade, but then transitioned to recreational or sporting use. Canoeing has been part of the Olympics since 1936. In places where the canoe played a key role in history, such as the northern United States, Canada, and New Zealand, the canoe remains an important theme in popular culture.

Hello! Welcome back! Taking you behind the scenes in this video on a recent business trip to Algonquin Park. We had five beautiful days in the northeast corner of Algonquin Park. The trip started off with hubby catching a gorgeous lake trout and we canoed our way to the beautiful Barron River and Barron Canyon. This video shows a little more of what we do as content providers; rather than content creators. I did not film as much as I would have liked of what goes into our production shoots - our priority for this trip were our clients but I am glad I was able to get some quick behind the scenes shots to share with you.

Bonaventure River: Solo Canoe Trip on a Wild Québec River
In September of 2018, I paddled Eastern Quebec's Bonaventure River. Water levels were extremely low, leading to bony, technical runs instead of the pushy waters this river is known for. However, the amazingly clear waters remained! This was a short trip as I was in the region to compete in Raid Raid International Gaspésie, a 4 day, 300km staged adventure race. The trip started off with hubby catching a gorgeous lake trout and we canoed our way to the beautiful Barron River and Barron Canyon. This video shows a little more of what we do as content providers; rather than content creators. I did not film as much as I would have liked of what goes into our production shoots - our priority for this trip were our clients but I am glad I was able to get some quick behind the scenes shots to share with you.

Hello! Welcome back! Taking you behind the scenes in this video on a recent business trip to Algonquin Park. We had five beautiful days in the northeast corner of Algonquin Park. The trip started off with hubby catching a gorgeous lake trout and we canoed our way to the beautiful Barron River and Barron Canyon. This video shows a little more of what we do as content providers; rather than content creators. I did not film as much as I would have liked of what goes into our production shoots - our priority for this trip were our clients but I am glad I was able to get some quick behind the scenes shots to share with you.

Canoe
A canoe is a lightweight narrow boat, typically pointed at both ends and open on top, propelled by one or more seated or kneeling paddlers facing the direction of travel using a single-bladed paddle. In some European countries, like the United Kingdom, the term canoe is often used for both canoes and kayaks, with canoes called Canadian canoes then. This is seen in the International Canoe Federation nomenclature.
Canoes are used for racing, whitewater canoeing, touring and camping, freestyle, and general recreation. The intended use of the canoe dictates its hull shape and length and construction material.
Historically, canoes were dugouts or made of bark on a wood frame, but construction materials evolved to canvas on a wood frame, then to aluminum. Most modern canoes are made of molded plastic or composites such as fiberglass. Until the mid-1800s the canoe was an important means of transport for exploration and trade, but then transitioned to recreational or sporting use. Canoeing has been part of the Olympics since 1936. In places where the canoe played a key role in history, such as the northern United States, Canada, and New Zealand, the canoe remains an important theme in popular culture.

In September of 2018, I paddled Eastern Quebec's Bonaventure River. Water levels were extremely low, leading to bony, technical runs instead of the pushy waters this river is known for. However, the amazingly clear waters remained!
This was a short trip as I was in the region to compete in Raid Raid International Gaspésie, a 4 day, 300km staged adventure race.
