Mike Taylor may refer to:
Michael John "Mike" Taylor AO is a former senior Australian public servant and policymaker. He is currently an Independent Director of the Bushfire CRC.
Mike Taylor grew up in Melbourne, Victoria. In 1970 he completed his Bachelor of Agricultural Science having studied at the University of Melbourne.
Taylor took his first job with the Victorian Department of Agriculture in 1971. With the support of a cadetship from the Department, he completed a graduate Diploma in Agriculture Economics, attained from the University of New England in 1972.
In the 1980s, Taylor worked at the Australian Dairy Industry Council.
He was Secretary of the Victorian State Government Department of Agriculture, prior to his appointment as Secretary of the Australian Government Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
In 2004, Taylor moved from the Agriculture department to the Department of Transport and Regional Services (later Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government). There he assumed responsibility for implementing several initiatives to upgrade maritime, aviation and land transport security.
Michael Norman Somerset (Mike) Taylor (born 12 November 1942) was an English first-class cricketer who played mainly for Nottinghamshire CCC and Hampshire CCC in a career that spanned the 1964 and 1980 seasons and included 375 first-class and 226 limited overs matches.
Taylor was born at Amersham, Buckinghamshire. At the age of 15 he was being coached at Chesham Cricket Club by the ex-Derbyshire bowler Alf Pope.
Taylor was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. He took 830 first-class wickets in his career at an average of 26.52 with a best analysis of 7–52.
Mike Taylor is the twin brother of Derek Taylor, the Somerset wicket-keeper.
The Care Bears is an animated television series based on the Care Bears franchise, which aired between 1985 and 1988 in syndication; on the ABC network, The CBN Family Channel from 1988 to 1990, The Family Channel from 1990 to 1997 (DIC episodes only) and from 1990 to 1998 (Nelvana episodes only) in the United States. The 1985 episodes were produced by DIC Entertainment; the ABC episodes were made by Nelvana under the name The Care Bears Family. This is the only Care Bears series produced by Nelvana; in 2007, Sabella Dern Entertainment produced a revival, Care Bears: Adventures in Care-a-Lot.
